The ambiance is casual, a great place for celebratory gatherings or a place to watch a game. FOOD: The food here is on point. Wonderful selection of meats, some vegetarian meals, PLUS great drink selection. I want to add that they also have an AMAZING selection of banchan dishes (side dishes). We ordered our food using a QR code, after placing the order a robot brings the dishes (the ordering system also applies to drinks and also to get a new grill if you need one) SERVICE: This is where we had a difficult time. Because they use robots, I want to clarify that the following is about the HUMAN servers... our human server was absolutely disengaging, and at times simply rude. He had zero personality and zero desire to be helpful. We requested waters several times (using the robot server and the humans) it took more than 30 minutes to get water. Then when it was time to pay, he had nothing to say to us and left the bill without asking if we wanted or needed anything. 15 minutes later a woman brought us a table paying system machine ( I don't know what they are called) but its one of those white manual "pay at the table machine" . So when she brought the machine it was turned off so we could not process the payment. We asked for help and she was annoyed that she had to turn it on for us. Then I waited to get a receipt but no one came to the table, so I walked to the bar area and after a few minutes our server came up to the bar and said "you want something" I asked for the receipt he looked annoyed that he had to print one for me. I cannot say if the lack of good service is something people experience here, but the two other coworkers I was with made comments that the service was horrendous. ** NOTE: I understand that sometimes restaurants are understaffed and these issues can affect customer service. I had really high expectations, but unfortunately due to sitting at my table for more then 20mins with no server attending to us to turn on our burner, or assist us with completing our order on our phone I had to find a worker to help us. The price difference may fall short when looking at the takeout options, but who honestly would order takeout from an AYCE KBBQ in a location with so many other takeout places? In terms of logistics, there's plenty of parking in the back should parking in front of the store get busy. There are plenty of tables both in front and on the patio with the only limiting factor for wait times often just being staff scrambling back and forth. Sat down and that's where it kinda started to go sideways...everything you have to order off a scanned barcode every time you want something new is another order to add to a cart then send to the kitchen. You don't see what's in process or what came and what didn't. The quality of the meat wasn't bad but you're just left guessing which meat is which as it comes out as they send it out via robot or waitress. Robot naturally doesn't provide much with regards to answering questions on what they are bringing out, what remains, etc. Honestly, it's not really all that bad as you get a good variety of all you can eat food but there are just some kinks that they seem to need to work out. Especially for the prices they are charging. It's makes sense though due to I'm sure the massive overhead to pay for the huge location they have. I don't think we'll be back. read more
