I read the rave reviews of I Canita Cake, and had to stop in to see what all the fuss was about. There were immaculately decorated cookies along with bar cookies and such. I saw two employees solely dedicated to fastidiously decorating cookies. They have been in business at the same Roswell location for the past five years, and somehow I wasn't aware. Not any more! I treated myself to three Christmas sweaters, a jumbo whoopie pie (big as a bagel!) with Christmasy sprinkles, and a ginger cookie for Hubs. I nibbled on a Christmas sweater sugar cookie and it was nice and fresh. The whoopie pie was epic! Hubs cracked up watching trying to take a bite. His ginger cookie was the best ever...just the right amount of ginger and molasses, and chewy(I'm not much on hard snaps). Support this bakery! They're great! read more

I ordered a surprise bag from the TooGoodtoGo app. I visited I Canita Cake to pick up this bag. The bag contained 2 sugar cookies, 1 chocolate chip cookie, a cookie cake slice, cake balls and an Apple pie bar. The pie bar and cake balls were decent. All the cookies products were extremely stale. They taste at least 1 week old. I would not recommend getting food from here through the TooGoodtoGo app. read more

This is truly a hidden gem ( a great lo probably not hidden in just super late to the party )z I found this place by accident cause as a larger person when you see bakery you stop regardless and 90 percent of the time it is a huge miss , this time makes all the fails worth wild . I have only been twice the first time was hen in accidentally found it , the second was when I made the 50 minute pilgrimage to this baking Mecca. Customer service was out of this world , knowledgeable, helpful engaging how a business should be when someone is spending money with them , and it's not one person both occasions different people same great service. Now the reason you go the baking , first choco chip cookies , amazing the right amount of chewy and crispy , perfect amount of chocolate and like a true professional they correct amount of salt on top , this was amazing again but not even the stand out . The Oreo is what an Oreo should be I thought I found it in New York at bouchon but please know that one compared to this one no contest I won't go on how the peanut butter cookie is the best or the hot chocolate mexican brownie they have this month , or any of the other treats but what I will say is when a bakery is this good I often try things I don't like , I am Not a pecan pie person so I ordered one of the bars and , well I am now a pecan pie person . They did an AMAZING job in a very small turnaround window. We received so my ooooh and ahhhhs about how beautiful these cookies were. Would highly recommend. I noticed someone commented in an earlier review about customer service. When I walked in I wasn't greeted immediately either. There were multiple folks behind the counter working (obviously working) not just standing around. I just announced out I was there for a pick up and was assisted immediately.
