WHAT THEY GAVE US! NOT ONE STRAWBERRY ON THE CAKE!
Emmie Marie M.

stay away! horrible service! we had pre-ordered this cake in adance! specifically asked for only strawberries on it! we pick it up today and bot one strawberry on this cake! they put cherries and kiwi! spoke to the cashier and she was useless. stating no manager is in the store & that she doesnt know what to tell me!? i had to tell her multiple times to call someone because this was not the cake i had ordered and payed for in advance! she spoke to the "manager" on the phone and they only offered a $5 refund or to leave the cake & receive a full refund. what type of customer service is that?! i needed the cake for a family gather in literally 1hr! horrible horrible horrible! this is the first and last time ordering from this place! PLUS THE BREAD IS STRAIGHT UP GARBAGE! SUPER DRY & OVER PRICED! stay away! the take advantage that their the closest hispanic bakery! i rather drive further & pay more somewhere else! pinche rateros!

First of all the service is so so friendly! The ladies behind the counter seem so happy to be working and eager to serve their customers. The food was fresh and well prepared, although I only had some eggs with avocado, they have a great variety of Mexican tortas(sandwiches), tacos, steak dishes, etc, generous portions and great prices. They also have a large assortment of pastries, cakes and sweet breads which I took some to go, my son loved the pineapple pastries. I requested just fried eggs, avocado slices and bread, which is my usual breakfast and although my request was not on their menu they had no problem making it for me. I will definitely come back again.

Cake and pastries.

WHY SO DRY? This little Mexican bakery is located in the Village Shopping Center with San Miguel, (Mexican bakery and taqueria). It carries a variety of baked/fried items such as cake, cupcakes, donuts and traditional pastries. My husband and I were looking for a delicious pastry snack. As we explored the various options, we were surprised by the following: The serving sizes are huge!. The cake was at least 2.5 inches high and the pastries were like small frisbees. We also noticed that their pastries are not nicely glazed as our pastries are and that instead of using powdered sugar, they used granulated sugar on their donuts. I don't like grit on my pastries. For the most part the items looked very dry and therefore not very appetizing. Unfortunately, it was difficult to tell if the items were really fresh. That thing that is shaped like a cinnamon roll and looks like a cinnamon roll with raisins is not a cinnamon roll. It is a savory roll shaped like a cinnamon roll and those raisin like bits are actually chopped peppers. I don't like seeing savory treats mixed with desserts because it confuses the flavors. There are no labels describing the various desserts. For those of you who have acquired a taste for these treats, you now have a new option. If you are new to Mexican desserts, just know that they are quite different from American desserts starting with the primary ingredients and toppings. Proceed with caution.

Delicious breakfast. What a great find!! Ordered the huevos con chorizo. The tortillas were so hot, I had to wait to eat them.

First of all, I love when people talk about the customer service of this place. And give it a one…read morestar. Because they are so off mark they don't even have a clue. And that is me pretty much an expert in customer service letting you know that everyone may have a bad day, but their customer service is top-notch. Just like their baked goods just like all of the items that they sell. They curate the best of the best and that is no joke. I did an event with this business two months ago. I thought I had done my review clearly I did not. So for that, I apologize. I had the absolute best experience that you can possibly have with a business to create a wonderful event for my attendees. And I had over 200 people at that event. I did not get one bad comment or one mediocre comment about how the food was. I utilize them for several different aspects of my event. For snacks to go with the fun hours, for grab and go lunch on the last day, and for a continental style breakfast one morning. I'd also like to add that this event was all men. And most of you know that men will eat almost anything and it's really not complain. However, all of the men commented on the creativity that I chose to give them things that they wouldn't normally get at a men's retreat. PS. I did spend a nice portion of the budget because these ingredients are all carefully selected and all of the food is made with love care and concern. They invited me into the space and I can tell you that you could eat off of the floor. It is clean, neat, and organized. I did not say a good thing about her team. They have created a treasure in the community. And the pricing is quite reasonable sandwiches are fresh and delicious and everything is made in house. Let me say that louder for the people in the back. If you're looking for a wonderful place to have fresh fresh bread, fresh pastries, a quick lunch, but something that is delicious and healthy, then stop at Theo Bros Bakery. You will not be disappointed.

To be fair, I only tried it once, but I spent around $75, and the baked goods were decidedly…read moremediocre. I love the name, idea, and vibe, but not one thing that we ordered was a slam dunk.

They have strict rules about not bringing ANYTHING that would compromise that declaration (they really try to eliminate any cross contamination. I had their brownie and a donut. Gf donuts as usual are quite cake-y but I got the apple donut and it was super tasty. Yes, still cake-y but really tasty. The brownies with adaptogenic mushrooms, moringa, and cacao nibs were SO FUDGY AND CHOCOLATEY! So so tasty, I will come back and actually get food there too but just wanted a sweet snack! Cute place and room to sit down inside as well. Very friendly owner and was patient answering questions. It was a bit pricey 8$ a brownie and 6$ a donut but they were both a decent size and really tasty which can be hard to find in the gf world

When I went inside, I was asked to move my bike. I asked if the establishment was not motorcycle-friendly, and was told yes. That was surprising to hear. Motorcyclists are customers too, and it's strange to single out an entire group of people who are simply looking for a place to eat and spend money like everyone else. Since I wasn't made to feel welcome, I chose to leave and take my business elsewhere. There are plenty of restaurants that welcome all paying customers, regardless of what they drive or ride.
