If you are gluten free, I highly recommend checking this bakery out. We got the donut holes and a chocolate donut and both were very good. I often find gluten free desserts tend to be a bit dense. However, the donut holes were very light but filling. If you didn't know everything was gluten free/soy free/vegan/etc., I don't know if you would be able to guess it. I recently discovered this gluten-free bakery and decided to try a dozen cupcakes. The strawberry cupcake was my absolute favorites, so moist and delicious! The cookie dough cupcake was a close second, also wonderfully moist and flavorful. My only disappointment was with the vanilla and chocolate cupcakes, which were both quite dry. I'm not sure if that's typical or if I just got an off batch, but it stood out compared to how great the others were. They aren't entirely dairy free but they have a ton of options and use no soy! Although I saw an Oreo cake and I'm pretty sure Oreos use soy lecithin or maybe it was just soy oil when I wasn't allowed the oil either so I didn't get any of those.. I normally just stop by to grab a loaf of sourdough, but today I decided to stay and enjoy my snacks on their outdoor patio! I got a blueberry muffin and a cheddar biscuit. I'll start with the PROS: Everything is gluten free and free of many allergens! So awesome! The location is perfect, right in the heart of downtown Alpharetta. The sourdough is good! It's hard to make a great GF sourdough but they nailed it! Next, areas to improve: Employee friendliness. They are polite, but not friendly or chatty or happy seeming. It lacks that friendly community vibe that the other coffee places in town have. People stop in, but I rarely see people relaxing and hanging out here. I also feel like there are not enough blueberries in the muffins but that is personal preference. Some people might prefer just a few berries. The service at this place from a little fat male is horrible. We put in an order this morning for 6 croissants, 6 dinner rolls and a baguette. We were asked if we wanted to pay now or pay when we picked it up. We opted for pay on pick up. When we arrived to pick up the order it was not ready and could not be found. Then this rude staff member instead of apologizing and rectifying the situation kept insisting that we had never made the order, this was all our fault, and there was not enough time to fill it today before they closed. There was only one baguette and one croissant in the store. Long story short quit happy to take your pickup orders, not good at actually completing them, and then this staff member gets rude and blames you. I am writing this too early as I have only tried 2 of the 4 things I bought. However, this place is a god send. Everything in here looks amazing and everything is gluten free and a lot is vegan too. Full disclosure, I was hungry when I came here so I wanted to buy everything. Instead, I bought a baguette, a sourdough loaf, a chocolate chip cookie (vegan) and a small chocolate cookie cake. Again, all gluten free. We started with the cookie as everything else was supposed to be saved for the Super Bowl. The cookie was amazing. Full of chocolate chips and wholesome fattening deliciousness. Anyway, because we were out for too long and the rest was sitting in the car with us, at some point my fatness started taking control again and I ripped into the sourdough. If I'm being honest, it wasn't like the crack addicting taste of regular sourdough but it was still one of the best gluten free loaves I have ever tasted. Crunchy crust but moist inside. Fantastic job. The baguettes are being saved for cheese during the game tomorrow and the cookie cake is for desert. If those are somehow disappointing, I'll update this review, but I doubt it will happen. Now I just need to convince my wife to sell our house in Decatur and move to Alpharetta. read more

I wish I could leave this place 5 stars because I love the concept & it's awesome for people with food restrictions to have so many options but I have had consistently poor experiences with takeout here spanning the past 6 months or so. I stopped doing Uber eats pickup because more often than not they would cancel the entire order because they were out of one item or they would not cancel it & when I would get there they would not have even made the order yet so they would be out of other stuff too in the bake case having not set aside anything else from my order when they confirmed it. Today they canceled the order on Uber eats like 10 minutes after confirming it because they were out of choc muffins. When I got there they were not out of brownies which was listed as out of stock when I ordered the muffins. So I had to get refunded for the order, which took them calling manager, which I had to ask them to do, after cross-referencing my charges on my bank app just standing there while they looked at me like I was inconveniencing them somehow for refunding my $50 order They were also out of chai, lol. the whole thing was just so much more unnecessarily stressful than picking up muffins from your local bakery should ever be. Being gluten free can really suck when it comes to baked goods (breakfasts especially.) I also have a major sensitivity to eggs, so breakfast in general can be a pain. The owner is so so so nice. She came over when we walked in and asked if we had any allergies. I let her know that I have to be gluten free due to autoimmune issues. My best friend has an allergy for a lot of fruits. She was able to tell us which ones my friend could have, which she had a lot of options. 3. The baked goods are awesome. Gluten free stuff tends to be either very dense or dry or both. Not this stuff. I got a cinnamon roll (which I've been craving a gluten free cinnamon roll for almost 3 years,) 2 donuts, an iced sugar cookie, and loaf of artisan bread. Everything was delicious. Nothing was dry. The cinnamon roll was worth the 3 year wait. And the sugar cookie. OMG, it was like one of those store bought iced ones but with flavor. It was moist and the icing was so so so light but good. The donuts were excellent too. However, let's get to the real winner. The artisan bread. I will make monthly trips here just to stock up on the bread. It's good with butter, peanut butter, on its own, with soup. The service is so great at this bakery! They are willing to help newbies and will walk you through allergens. Everything in the bakery is soy-free and they have a variety of vegan, dairy-free, gluten-free and other cupcakes, cakes, cookies, apple pies, muffins, and donuts. The strawberry cupcake almost tasted like cotton candy frosting, the cinnamon sugar donuts are great. Unlike other GF bakeries, their donuts aren't so heavy/think and flaky. The apple pie is my favorite with not too much crust but tons of filling and topper. If you don't eat tons of sugar regularly, you may get a sugar high, but it will be worth it. My parents my graduation cake from here, and it my graduation so special! They did great with the details! The frosting was phenomenal! After passing by this bakery many times, I finally got to try it a couple of weeks ago. I stopped by in the afternoon and a lot of the pastries were either sold out or only had a few left. I was able to snag the last vegan red velvet donut hole as well as a vegan chocolate chip and vegetarian lemon bar. The cookie was a little tough for me, but the lemon bar and donut hole were delightful! Great consistency and flavor. I could have easily eaten a dozen of those red velvet donut holes, but I'll just have to come back for more! The lady behind the counter was very friendly and helpful. I ordered the 8" round chocolate cake costing $75+. It looked nice. Served it the next day for my husband's birthday and WOW that cake was TERRIBLE!! The chocolate frosting was extremely sweet, talk about SUGAR galore! There was a high content of caffeine *flour mix has espresso coffee in addition to the cacaco mix. I was excited to find a GF bakery in the area and they have SO many different selections to choose from. I will say that overall, everything is very "gluten free," meaning you can definitely tell. There's a little extra oil, a little extra crumbliness, and not so much browning that is very tell tale of a GF item. I've seen some GF bakeries which were able to surpass those common "errors" so to speak, but unfortunately this was not one of them. Nevertheless, it was still a treat to be able to eat pastries without feeling a little poopie after (not literally...or is it?) Biscuit with egg and cheese: VERY greasy but so delicious. Truly did have me feeling like I was eating a real egg-cheese biscuit, minus the crumbliness! The flavor was great! Biscuit plain: It's very rare to find a GF Biscuit...I think the only other one I've ever found was in SC. You definitely want to toast these before you eat them, otherwise they're a bit like solid crumbly butter-things. Once toasted though...oh lawwwwwd have them with whatever you want or eat them plain! It's butter butter buttahhhhhhh all up in your mouth! Red velvet donut hole: This was soft and pillowy; the perfect little cake donut and just the right size for a snack. I think they should've made a red velvet donut hole with cream cheese glaze, as with regular glaze it was more like a red-chocolate donut hole (which essentially is what is was), but it was still nice! Cinnamon donut hole: This was a bit dry and overbaked; I was disappointed and did not finish this one as the texture was just off. I'm sure this isn't the norm considering the red velvet one was nice so feel free to try if you like cinnamon... Sugar cookie: I've had some pretty not-so-great GF sugar cookies, but this place uses their signature GF crumbliness to their advantage with this one. These types of sugar cookies are supposed to be crumbly and slightly sweet, and this hit all the marks. Sourdough roll: I'm not sure how sourdough rolls are supposed to be greasy, but this one left my fingers slippery! I didn't quite get the "sour"ness of the sourdough, but it was still a nice roll--I toasted it at home. Everything bagel: It wasn't very bagel like--more like an everything greasy roll as I don't even remember there being a hold in the center. To be honest, it wasn't super memorable, but it wasn't bad (aside from the oil). The other thing I have to mention is that you can smell oil when you walk into the bakery, like things have been frying in there. In fact, my bag of goodies smelled oily too. Not saying the place is bad, but it made me feel like I might be eating a ton of liquid fats in all my goodies. Usually at bakeries, I'll smell vanilla or cake or something instead. They're located directly across from the new Hamilton hotel and between truck and tap and ceviche. I was promptly greeted when I walked in the door. I announced that I had never been there before and wasn't sure what I wanted. I was offered a free donut hole to try. They had cinnamon sugar and red velvet. I went for the cinnamon sugar. It was delicious! I ordered a bunch of different sweets. A lemon bar, an apple turnover, and a couple orange cranberry muffins. I was a little hungry (no kidding, lol) so I asked about savory options and was pointed to the stuffed breakfast biscuits they have. I went for the cheese, egg, and chicken sausage biscuit. I had it warmed up and I ate it there. It was good and hit the spot! While I was there eating, a mom and her little girl came in and the girl went right for the cupcakes. She chose the vanilla frosting one and said "it tasted really good mommy!" If you're looking for gluten-free options and really good cupcakes, I recommend swinging by! read more

I came in near closing so a lot of their more popular items were gone unfortunately so I settled with a brownie which was chewy on the inside but crunchy on the edge which I must rave about because that's one of the best brownies i've ever had. I also got a pumpkin bar, yum. Taste like a pumpkin pie but not as overwhelming in taste. Perfect amount of sweetness however I do wish the crust was so crumbly. The last item I got which disappointed me immensely was the lemon bar. There was too much coconut in it and a strong tart lemon taste which just didn't do justice for my tastebuds.
