They didn't have any tables outside so we were seated inside. Service (3.5/5): No WiFi unfortunately which isn't great for an international traveler like me. Standard European service. Not terribly friendly and not terribly efficient but I would say they were a bit more attentive than the norm. They did hook us up with some complimentary limoncello shots which was a really nice touch. Ambiance (3.5/5): A little quieter since it's off the beaten path which I like. A pleasant, homey restaurant. Drinks (4.5/5): We shared a bottle of wine. And the aforementioned limoncello shots. Food (4/5): We went with their pasta for two deal where each person gets three different types of pasta that you choose from six or so options. I love getting a variety of dishes so this was a nice way to do it. Not huge portions given the price but still delicious. The dishes were served to us quickly and we got to try some pastas we had never heard of. Overall: When in Bologna, Osteria Broccaindosso makes for a fine choice. It's a 15-minute walk or so from the center of town.

Once the dish came out the owner of the restaurant asked if I would like parmesan and he sprinkled the perfect amount. This pasta was extremely delicious and I ate every last bite. As they are just opened and there was no customer at all. An old lady greeted us and seemed very nice but speaks no English, but was understanding with our request. As she was planning to seat us, a younger woman walked in and looked us, then said something to the old lady, then told us there was no table for us. That's all and she walked away! Clearly she was not happy to seen couple of Asian wants to have lunch in her place! Well, that's her losses. We walked out and eat a restaurant right around the corner with amazing foods and services. At the end, we are so glad that we didn't eat there. Judging by the attitude, I won't be expecting their foods would good at all. So, if you are visiting Bologna, avoiding this place by all means!
