I can't say enough good things about Amy and the professionalism she exhibits towards her clients. I always look forward to my sessions as I know not only will I undergo a facial from someone who is experienced and thorough but who also makes the process enjoyable. Amy is a great conversationalist who truly has a brightness that exudes from every pore (unclogged of course) of her body. In addition, she continually updates her studio in terms of equipment and products. You can be assured when you make a skincare appointment, the training and education of Amy and her staff is always at the highest level.

I did not expect a facial to pluck my eyebrows. They are also overpriced. The lady is nice but geez. I didn't realize that my brows were messed up until I left. Don't touch clients' eyebrows. I also realized I still had black heads I could get out as soon as I got home. I have never felt uglier coming out of a facial than I did before going in. I have never regretted getting a facial until now. Huge disappointment for $230 cash.

I called up and booked a 45 minute Halo Therapy session and enjoyed the comfy seats while clearing out my lungs and all the toxins. It's always good to clear the toxins while traveling especially after a flight. This was the perfect solution and I felt amazing after my session! This location is just outside Downtown Orlando. It's very clean and the staff are very friendly. They offer memberships and package deals. If I lived here you know I would be there all the time! They also have massages, infrared sauna's and more. Check out their website. *Plenty of free parking in the lot behind the building ~ and that's all I have to say about that...

I booked the 1-hr Halo Massage ($120) and after filling out the paperwork, I was paired up with a fantastic massage therapist, Nyia. She gave me a quick tour of the place and informed me that, due to the salt therapy mist in the room, I should store my belongings in a locker in the room so that it didn't leave a salt residue on my things. This salt therapy runs during the massage and has many health benefits. It was very relaxing and never ended up bothering me at all. I opted for more of a relaxing, therapeutic massage and it was INCREDIBLE. Nyia spent a little more time on my back and worked out a ton of knots that I didn't even realize I had. She had a very sure hand and assertive technique. I was super happy with the massage and definitely plan on returning again soon. I saw a number of other great services that they offered that I hope to try out at some point as well. Definitely worth checking out if you've always been curious about trying them out.

The spa was inviting and filled with warm tones throughout. After we checked in we were offered a glass of wine (of your choice) which was a delightful treat and something you often don't see at a spa. We slipped back to the cozy lounge while we waited for our massage therapist to arrive. We were greeted by Angel and Kiara who lead us to our room. Both of them were fantastic and provided a wonderful deep tissue experience. Each of them knew exactly the right pressure and when to dig in deeper After our massage we were both rejuvenated thanks to Angel and Kiara! I highly recommend them and the Allora Day spa!

I've been going to Allora for several years for massages and they're fantastic!…read more I highly recommend Kiara as her hands are literal magic. My back feels amazing whenever she's done with me. Their membership tiers are very fair and comprehensive. I love that the unused monthly vouchers can be rolled over to the next month and stacked for multiple services. It's also super convenient that there are no contracts and cancellation is easy. Even though they're downtown, parking is nice because, thankfully, they provide validated garage parking; though the spots there are kinda small and can fill up if you go at busy times. I love that they also have multiple locations, so you can go to whichever location is most convenient. If you're looking to treat yourself to a spa day, I cannot recommend Allora enough.

I chose Sand Lake Dermatology Center after a negative experience with another clinic. The reviews…read moreare great so I felt like this would be a good choice and so far after two appointments, I really like this clinic and Dr Mailer. Before coming to Sand Lake Dermatology I had a biopsy at another clinic and was scheduled to have a carcinoma removed. I was unable to have this done at the other clinic so I booked the first appt available with Sand Lake Dermatology which was set for the end of July. Once I was able to get my records sent to the clinics, a staff member called me right away and moved my appointment to have a carcinoma removed from my face to last week. Because of the interactions I had over the phone and online with this clinic, I felt comfortable having this clinic remove the carcinoma even though I had not even seen the clinic nor doctor. While I was mildly aware of what the procedure entailed, the staff that prepared me answering questions and numbing me(Marisol and Aaron) were great and made me feel comfortable. Dr Mailer was just as nice and made me feel comfortable. I was of course aware of the dr performing the procedure, I couldn't see it and didn't feel it. The procedure is called Moh's procedure where they typically cut away the determined margin around the affected area, bandage you up and let the patient wait in the lobby while the removed specimen is being reviewed in the onsite lab. If the lab determines that not enough was removed to show clear margins, the patient is brought back in and the dr removes more repeating the process until margins are clear. In my case, the dr removed all that needed to be removed leaving clear margins so after the lab results returned after a couple of hours, I was brought back into the procedure room and the dr proceeded to stitch up my wound applying dissolving stitched under the skin and removable stitches outside. My appointment for follow up and outer stitches removal was set for one week later( this past Tuesday). I was prescribed a heavy antibiotic and advised to keep Vaseline on the stitched up area and keep it covered with a bandage that is changed daily. Once I was stitched up, I mentioned a growth I have noticed on my eyelid and the dr suggested that on my follow up appointment she would take a biopsy. So this past Tuesday I had stitches removed, the area where I had stitches seems to be healing well and it doesn't appear that there will be a heavy scar. I am happy to see this as the area that was removed was quite large and the area stitched was quite long. The nurse, Natalie numbed my face, the stitches were removed and I didn't feel anything. They also numbed my eyelid so the biopsy could be taken. This is a sensitive area so this was a bit more intense but it went quickly and the biopsy was done. I will likely have results next week. What could have been a high anxiety first procedures (I've never had any surgery or stitches) turned out to be a pretty smooth experience. I recommend consideration of Sand Lake Dermatology as the staff and Dr Mailer were great, the waiting room is comfortable and even the staff that manages scheduling, check in, check out, nurses, physicians assistants all made me feel important, individual and taken care of. I wish all medical experiences could be similar to what I experienced.

***UPDATE*** The "Manager" from Spa Bar just called me 4…read moretimes in a row!!! I picked up the first time. She sounded young, difficult to understand, but she asked angrily what my problem was... said she called me 2 years ago & that she had resolved this for me. She did not resolve anything for me, & did not make me feel any better, not then, definitely not now. She wanted to pinpoint when exactly I had my Brazilian waxing done. I wasn't going to be interrogated, harassed, or gaslit. I told her that I've been there more than once, & I don't appreciate her calling to argue with me. I am entitled to an honest review of my experience & my feelings concerning it. She sounded argumentative wanting to argue the exact date & what happened, saying she had video proof. I told her that I've been there more than once, & left the room at different times & there is nothing to argue about. She has never cared about my feelings & experience there. The Brazilian waxing covers a delicate area, you need to trust the place you go to, and this Manager woman just makes the whole experience so much worse for me. I should have never given this place my business in the past, should've stayed at a better sugaring place in Oviedo which was honestly so extremely sweet, kind, caring, & patient. I even bought a nicely scented exfoliant from the previous sugaring place. Less painful overall also because that other place in Oviedo, FL was so much more caring and professional, protecting my dignity & privacy. Spa Bar is not trustworthy, just in MY OPINION, and they continue to disrespect me, harsh on the phone! Really bad energy there, horrible to this day... I don't like being intimidated or gaslit. I am taking another star off, down to 1 star from 2 stars last night. Now she sent me a long text, & the last part of the text is, "After reviewing the actual footage, if you still believe otherwise, then I will forward this to my attorney who will follow up with you regarding your false accusations." My review that I wrote last night: I got a Brazilian wax here, and was very nervous. The young woman was nice and let me talk nervously as I was being waxed. It hurt at times and she couldn't calm me down or make me feel better like a previous place would. It was sort of a cold environment emotionally. I quickly went to the ladies room, and saw a front desk person with her neck pressed up against the wall right where I had been laying listening to my room. I was shocked when I saw her and felt like my privacy had completely been violated. That was completely unfair. I complained to management when a woman called me, and nothing was done. Unprofessional. That was the last time I went there. I had seen high schoolers there getting their hair blown out or put up for a dance.
