Find a different school as there are so many others to choose…read morefrom for $470 that will take your student on the freeway and around the different DMV courses. *edited* The next day my daughter did a lesson with another driving school and they took her on the freeway and drove around the Ventura DMV. Let me give you the cliff notes why and then if you want you can read below for more information: 1) My daughter has to take 8 hours instead of 6 and I have to pay $800 total because Sandra cancelled my appointment last minute even though she instructed us to make the last drivers training appointment right before the drivers license test. Sandra will not verify her hours she has already done for 2 weeks and does not have an opening until 9/27 or 10/1 for her make up appointment. We made my daughter's appointment 3 weeks ago for 9/20. The new school instructor said Sandra hung up on her when she requested a letter detailing my daughter's hours she has already taken. 2) Sandra doesn't take students on the freeway. 3) Sandra takes them to pump gas with a mask and gloves on even though it's not on the test. 4) Sandra does not take students on the drivers test track. Okay here is the long version: 1) Sandra just canceled my daughter's 9/17 6:00 pm appointment on the same day at 3:00 pm due to a family passing. Sandra could not rebook until 9/27 or 10/1 which is after my daughters drivers test which is 9/20. Booking the last drivers appointment was what Sandra instructed us to do. I had to call around to find a new school which would squeeze us in. I understand that all of this is out of Sandra's control but here is where it gets frustrating. Two people from the new school called Sandra and asked for her to give them a letter stating the 4 hours that my daughter had already taken but Sandra said that would take 2 weeks and was unwilling to work with us. This will be too late for the drivers license exam appt I made 3 weeks ago. Sandra stated that this policy was started 5 years ago. She also said that she was trying to work with me by offering me different days but again these were after my daughters drivers license test. My daughter now has to take 8 total hours instead of only 6 hours because Sandra will not give us a letter stating that my daughter has taken 4 hours of school. I also have to pay $330 on top of the $470 I have paid to Sandra, that's $800 TOTAL! I asked Sandra to refund me at least $313 which is the right thing to do but she said that she didn't have to refund me any money. I told her that I would leave a bad yelp review and she asked if I was threatening her. We even have to cancel my daughter's 16th birthday dinner so that she can take her additional hours due to Sandra's unwillingness to expedite a letter for us. 2) I didn't realize that she does not take students on the freeway and this is an extra charge. Many schools in our area take students on the freeway. She also does not take students on the drivers license course which many schools do. For $470 I would have thought it would include this but I should have asked ahead of time. I asked Sandra why she didn't take kids on the freeway she said because its not on the test. 3) We live in Camarillo so we met her in Village in the Park for the first lesson all she did was have my daughter drive around Village in the park and then pull over for 15 minutes and take notes. She refused to book another lesson sooner than a month. 4) On the second lesson she drove around Village in the Park and then drove to the gas station on Carmen and had my daughter pretend to pump gas with a mask and gloves on. Pumping gas is not on the test.

Yessenea, offered to see what she can do about the review although, she told me that Gary and Tosh are gentleman and yeah, that might be her experience, but let's not discount ours.
