Several electricians and contractors came out to look at the project, but most declined to take it on because the situation was such a mess. Then I called Lightning Bug Electric, and they were absolutely fantastic from the very beginning. They immediately arranged for Cody to come out for a site visit. He took the time to really understand the situation, carefully thought through each challenge, developed a plan, and provided me with a quote on the spot. I was incredibly impressed with his knowledge, professionalism, and willingness to take on a difficult project that others had walked away from. The very next morning at 9:00 a.m., two technicians arrived and got to work. Marcus and Anthony were brilliant, respectful, hardworking, and incredibly skilled. They navigated an extremely complicated situation with expertise and a great attitude. Not only did they never seem frustrated by the challenges they encountered, they were so kind and courteous. They took the time to do the job correctly rather than taking shortcuts. What impressed me most was that all three--Cody and the two technicians--mentioned how much pride they take in their work. Despite multiple calls, emails, texts, and attempts to reach my salesperson, I received no response and ultimately had to visit the company's office in person to speak with the director of installations. Thankfully, he was very helpful and arranged for a technician to come out. For a $10,000 purchase, I expected a much higher level of post-installation customer service, especially as a long-time customer of 10+ years. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend Frodos Services LLC based on my experience. I hired them to…read morecomplete multiple projects at my property, but several items that were discussed and expected as part of the work were either never completed or were not completed to an acceptable standard. The cameras were never installed, the roof/ceiling work was never finished, the walls were painted without being properly sanded and prepared beforehand, and the cabinet was never stained as discussed. There were also several repairs I was told would be addressed that ultimately were not completed. The project also experienced multiple delays. When I followed up about the delays and lack of progress, I was told that staffing issues and not having enough workers were contributing to the problem. Regardless of the reason, the project took significantly longer than expected while several items still remained unfinished. My biggest concerns were the quality, reliability, and completeness of the work. After paying a substantial amount of money, I ultimately had to hire another handyman to redo portions of the work and complete items that Frodos left unfinished, resulting in additional expense, time, and inconvenience. Based on my experience, I would recommend that anyone considering this company get every item and completion date documented in writing, inspect the work carefully throughout the project, and do not make final payment and never pay through Zelle until every agreed-upon item has been completed and inspected.
