However, I was told they only had one appointment remaining. I took the appointment for 4pm. When I scheduled the appointment I was advised that I would receive a text message with the necessary paperwork I needed to complete. I did complete this prior to my arrival time. This spot is located in a small shopping plaza with what appears to be ample parking. I walked in about 2-3 minutes prior to my scheduled time. I was asked if I needed to use the rest room first. I figured it was a good idea to at least try to. I was instructed to go to the end of the hallway to use the restroom. When I returned I was seated for mat 5 minutes prior to being called back for my massage. The massage therapist was a short and small framed woman. ( she was very sweet) . She did not ask me if I had any concern areas, or even what type of pressure I prefer. However, I did note firm pressure on my paper work. Overall it was an ok massage. The pressure was not the best. A ton of oil was used, which typically prevents firm pressure. This was more of a massage for people that just like to be rubbed on. I needed a therapeutic massage. This did not cut it for my needs. I doubt I will be returning.

I have studied the body and all its components, if some part of the serratus is under the breast is too deep to touch through it, add to it how painful it would be. One of my complaints was my midback and the deep stabilizers of the spine.... He NEVER touched my back and spend all the time in my chest area-specifically my breasts... I had oil to my nipple. Which if he hadn't touch, there is no reason for it to be covered in oil. I repeat, never in my life I felt as humiliated and undermined as with this guy. Because of people like him is that the profession suffers.

I went in with major ale to a hurt lower back. Ben was able to relieve this issue while telling me everything he was doing and why. He even let me ask a lot of questions. Ben is very knowledgable and friendly. Since it is a sports therapy massage, it must be understood that you still have muscles under your typically covered areas and sometimes those are the problem causing areas. My psoas was the cause of my lower back pain because it was pulling down on my lower vertebrae- he figured it out right away by moving my feet and legs to see how my lower back did or did not move. Since the psoas is typically covered, he did not look or uncover this area and still did his job professionally while explaining how it affected my lower back. Ben even showed me the psoas connection on the human body poster he had on his wall. I look forward to going to him again.

Last year when my daughter was in third grade at school, she was shown a documentary of September…read more11th that included actual video footage of the towers falling. While we had discussed this date in our history and what happened, she had never seen videos of it happening. She was old enough to understand that thousands of people were dying as she watched...this was different than any Hollywood special effects. It was a traumatic experience for her in that she was uncontrollably shaking and crying for the next several days. Nightmares and intense anxieties followed for weeks. We sought the help of a children's counselor, but also came to BrainCore Marietta for help. Melissa made us so comfortable in explaining the tests she would perform on my daughter, how it would feel, how long each portion would last. And then she was fabulous at explaining the results of the brain map, what different areas meant, and how she would go about stimulating the different areas of my daughter's brain to promote less worry and anxiety and more peaceful sleeping. My daughter went through several months of treatments. Mid-way through, we had another brain map done which showed amazing progress was being made. Then again near the end of her treatments, which showed a drastic change in overactive areas of her brain. We are almost six months out from this therapy and it is rare now that my daughter has any bad dreams. Her anxiety levels are mostly non-existent. I know that the BrainCore therapy had much to do with these improvements. I am so thankful for Melissa's knowledge and experience in relieving the internal terror my daughter was experiencing on a constant basis. Melissa was so extremely patient and kind throughout every interaction. I feel like this made such a dramatic difference in the life of my (then) nine year old, that took her from a trembling mess of fear over everything and the worry that terrorists would break into our home at night to a carefree child once again more concerned over turning cartwheels and twirling frilly dresses.

We got there and the interior is nicely done and the Doctor (I think her name is Deb) met with us to discuss any issues we may want to concentrate on for our massages. Shortly after we went into a small room and our massages began. My therapist was Lori and my partner's was Stacy. They were both positively excellent in every form and I would absolutely suggest anyone near go and check them out. They offer therapeutic and relaxing massages, so don't be dissuaded by knowing it is a medical facility, because it is entirely worth it!
