We pulled in and the parking lot was full up front (still had plenty of parking). We walked in and were greeted by the host who was able to get a corner table for our party of five, with no waiting. As we sat our server came over and immediately took our drink order. Once our drinks came out we were able to order our food. The table order had a mix of pancakes, omelette, bacon, and toast. Everyone enjoyed their food and the kids loved their Happy Face pancakes. I believe the manager was the one who brought our food to us and was seen checking in on tables and the kitchen making sure everyone was satisfied with their food. At conclusion we were given a portable device for card cash out, making cash out efficient. The five star rating is what you can expect from a diner atmosphere, with great guest service and food options to choose from.

Perfect spot for a rainy day! We were seated in about five minutes, which was great. I ordered the crepe combo (2 eggs, choice of bacon or sausage, and hash browns) and the portion was perfect. Everything was delicious and came out quickly. Also not pictured: the chilaquiles plate and the chicken & waffles -- both were so good! Definitely coming back

Went here for breakfast with my wife, we had seen it and wanted to try it recently. We walked in and was met with a great greeting and sat right away, the inside was much bigger than I expected. We sat down and were pleasantly surprised with the combos that come with all you can eat pancakes! These combos were less expensive than a normal combo of pancake and eggs. My wife ordered the sausage eggs hashbrowns and pancakes while I got the fit healthy omelette. The pancakes are the star here because after that it was a bit downhill, the eggs we ordered over medium and were runny as ever, the hashbrowns were soggy in the middle, would like them cooked more but sausage was good. My omelette was good but my wife ended up eating most of it due to hers being not great. If you come get the pancakes those were good! Staff was extremely kind!

Fun spot. Service was really good and friendly. The food is your standard breakfast fare. The pancakes were super light and fluffy! A solid meal! They have a huge menu so we'd love to come back and try other offerings.

Greeted and seated quickly. Once we gave our order our food came out quickly, fresh and hot. I ordered the window special and the other person in my party ordered Crepes plus Alicante. The restaurant was clean and the staff were friendly. Simple & Nice!

This is one of my favorite breakfast places. Great service, good food, clean, private lot. We got seated right away and got the breakfast special. I got my fried eggs fully cooked, crispy bacon and crispy hash browns. The pancakes were fluffy. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED

First time dining here today at around 9:30 a.m. Was on my way home and saw the Window special while sitting at the red light. Seated quickly and ordered two $9.99 specials. Got our food in a couple of minutes. Fast. The place was in business. Our seats were comfortable at our booth. No complaints about the atmosphere. Food was not bad for the price, quality talking. Sausages were smaller than I would have thought, but I should have known better. Pancakes got cold too fast, but despite that they were to my liking. I got the eggs proportion could have been a bit more for the price we paid for. The reason for the one star? Terrible waitress. She may have been prompt but there was an dismissive attitude in her voice and actions. She did not treat the other diners like that. I would have left at least three stars, because the overall experience was not bad at all.....until I saw how the owner talks to other reviewers on Google maps reviews. Won't be back. Glad I left the $1 tip.

Pretty extensive menu and certainly looked appetizing on the menu. The good news is the food as served looked like the menu in a good way. Grandson and i ordered the Strawberry, Banana and Nutella Crepe and I ordered the Mediterranean Omelet. Grandson also ate the pancakes that came with my omelet. Both were very good and we were glad we chose them respectively. Service was also spot on as our waiter was attentive and the cooks were quick to prepare. Tables were clean and obviously attended to between customers. All that said this place is a little "long in the tooth" when it comes to the carpeting. Stained with an oder that can only be removed by replacing it. May someday want to consider putting in hard flooring as it is MUCH easier to maintain

Cheesecake pancakes and Fried Steak and Eggs Combo
Juan B.

I heart pancakes is a cozy little spot located in Santa Ana and boy was it busy when I went to pick up my order! I was warmly greeted by the kind staff making it an easy order pick up. I had the cheesecake pancakes and the fried steak and eggs combo. The cheesecake pancakes offer a subtle hint of cheesecake flavor that's more apparent before the syrup is added to the mix. Taking bites of the pancakes reveal small pieces of cheesecake blocks but it doesn't quite scratch the cheesecake itch. The fried steak and eggs offers some creamy gravy and an overall solid dish; nothing that stood out. I heart pancakes is a spot to go to when you're looking for your straightforward breakfast experience.

I guess sauce... looks like it was dropped a few times before serving.

Do they have gluten-free pancakes?

The service here is quick and friendly and they make sure you always have coffee and it's hot (and there is always plenty of cream, 2 big pluses in my book). There is a daily white board of specials with 4 or 5 things that aren't on the menu, but I always go for something Mexican because it's just. so. good. My go to is the huevos rancheros. That sauce is *chef's kiss*. I've never been disappointed with anything I've ordered here. The big debate is biscuits and gravy or the banana loaf. Both are solid choices, but the loaf is great to take home. This trip the hubs got the Rambo special which met his approval. We both like our eggs over medium and they do them right here with runny yolks and cooked whites. We leave here happy and full and satisfied every time. As busy as it was, I was still seated immediately in a booth. The interior is all yellow with a cowboy theme. It feels a bit dated, but everything is clean and comfortable. I was greeted and brought water and a menu almost immediately I ordered the Santa Fe Skillet (Three eggs, ham, Ortega chiles, jack cheese, avocado, $16.95) with a side of hash browns and sourdough toast. I was surprised when my food arrived only five minutes after ordering. They run a very efficient kitchen! When my food arrived, the server offered me their home made mild or spicy salsa to go with it. I chose the mild salsa, and it went great with the dish. The skillet tasted great and was filling. My server, Betsy, was very friendly and provided quick service from start to finish. I took my time eating, and was still in and out in a bit under 30 minutes.

Finally a couple weeks go by and we get there with the line not too busy so we wait for about 20 mins in line with only 5 people ahead of us which I felt was a bit crazy but we're already here. Finally we order and get a breakfast burrito and a torta to eat in totaling out to 35$ just between those two items, but hey if it's good who cares right. We notice that there is no assigned seating and we're told to grab a seat where ever we liked so we go to the only table available inside about 10 mins after sitting and waiting for our food one of the waiters comes up to us and tells us we can't sit at the table because it's meant for a bigger party and that there is a table all the way in the back next to the restrooms that we need to move to because they need to save this table in case a big party comes in. I told her that these were the only seats available when we got here and i'd have no problem moving if a bigger party came through however there wasn't anybody waiting in line or ordering so we were gonna continue to wait here. the waitress proceeded to tell me that she doesn't know how else to say this but we aren't allowed to sit there, and we just exchange awkward silence. she gave up after about a minute of telling us to go to the back of the restaurant. All this could be overlooked if the food was amazing so i was really hoping it would be good and then finally after about 16 mins of waiting and being told to move by staff the food comes out. the waiter drops my plate so that it clatters as it hits the table and the nail in the coffin is that the food was honestly borderline bad, burrito lacked seasoning but was smothered in salsa to attempt to hide its mediocrity, it came with two more salsas on the side and chips but the chips were cold and stale unsure if they just gave me old chips because they were upset with me not moving to the back for them or if their chips are always that stale and unsalted. won't be making a return save urself the money and go try any other Mexican place their food will be better and cheaper.
