Such a cute brunch and cocktails for a chill Saturday! My close girlfriend and I met up for drinks and fries (a tradition of ours) and stumbled upon Toast. The staff were so friendly and sweet - I wish I got her name but she was the best and made us feel so welcomed. We got the pho fries and devoured it!!! Overall, not too pricey drinks and reasonably priced munchies

What a pleasant surprise this place was. A girlfriend of mine invited me here for breakfast and there was no disappointment except for the latte. I used to work in the coffee industry, and I can tell that either they use cheap coffee, they have not cleaned their espresso machine or their beans have been out for too long and are possibly expired. It is also possible that the grind is off or maybe it's something else. The latte tasted as if the coffee was rancid or old. My açai bowl was out of this world and my friends. Breakfast burrito was also delicious. The staff were very welcoming and wonderful and the place was spotless. Definitely coming back for the Basque cheesecake because we didn't get a chance to try it because I had to run.

I had the best brunch at Toast Kitchen with my friends recently. We ordered several dishes to share so we could try different menu options. Ube French Toast (5/5) - This french toast was the star of our brunch. The thick broiche was delicious with the ube pastry cream and blueberry sauce. I loved that this dish wasn't too sweet but had amazing flavor. Korean Fried Chicken Sandwich (5/5) - This fried chicken sandwich was so delicious. The fried chicken was huge on the brioche bun, and the coleslaw was paired perfectly. Chilaquiles (4/5) - The chilaquiles were pretty tasty with the shredded pork and sunny-side-up egg. It had a nice tangy verde sauce. Pho fries (4/5) - Interestingly seasoned shoestring fries with a mixture of spices, including five spice

If youre looking for a really good brunch place bit didnt make a reservation and dont want to wait ten years for a table, may i suggest: TOAST! Theyve got something for everyone and its all beautiful, unique, and delicious. They have a distinct filipino fusion vibe with a fully stocked bar and some coffee shop pastries/drinks. We got their mimosa flight and the flavors (yuzu, hibiscus, peach, and coconut) were all fantastic. And i havent seen them done before! My chilaquiles were absolutely delicious, not spicy but very flavorful, and i would LOVE to get those again. The egg was perfectly runny and the salsa fit the dish so well. Nice and crispy chips. Boy got the sisig burrito, and loved it. It was a good size and filled with pork and french fries with a good aioli. The korean chicken sandwich looked great, and the chicken and waffles were very interesting- i think they fry the chicken with something vaguely fish-tasting which was interesting.. but the chicken was very tender. We got a mango pie and it was just ok. Theyre beautiful, but save room for something else. There was no wait for our party of 4 on Saturday at 10am. Theres a big parking lot and indoor+outdoor seating. What a treat!!

I happened to wander in this place this morning and WOW!! I loved it! Terrific casual ambiance with a modern vibe. (They had a spacious nice looking patio too). I was seated by friendly staff and even greeted by the owner. I ordered the Ube French toast and it was delicious!! Sweet, but not too sweet, perfect toast and blueberry compote. Beautiful presentation as well. I can't wait to go back!

Thai chilaquiles (6/10) - this dish is normally made with pulled pork, but we were told we were able to sub it up for chicken, and it tasted pretty good still. My favorite part of the dish was definitely the pickled onions, they were the star of the show! Overall, I feel like the dish was somehow too sweet, yet felt like it needed some type of sauce. There were also a lot of beans which made most of the tortilla chips, too soggy and hard to eat. Ube latte (7/10) - it was very sweet and milk/creamy forward. So if you like that, it's a very good drink! I personally didn't taste as much ube as I was hoping for but still good.

We came on Sunday around noon and waited for about 10 minutes before being seated. It was really nice inside also with a glass window for their baked goods as well! We ordered the Ube French toast, pork belly bowl, and breakfast sandwich. We were really surprised by the size of all the items and were really full by the end of the meal, but I was definitely impressed by how tender the pork belly was and just the flavor of the overall bowl ! I wished there was more sauce in the bowl. And the French toast was amazing (as an Ube lover) along with the blueberry sauce and blueberries (and I'm not a blueberry fan either). Would love to come back and try their other items!

I checked out Toast Kitchen & Bakery after browsing their menu and was interested in the variety of their unique options. The inside was nicely decorated for Christmas, which gave the place a warm and festive feel. Service was solid and we were seated quickly and taken care of right away. Unfortunately, the food wasn't what I expected. I had the sisig burrito, which is described as having pork belly, chicharrón, kalamansi mayo, and jalapeño. I was expecting tangy flavors and a bit of crunch, but it ended up being fairly bland and lacked the texture I was hoping for. We also ordered the fried chicken and waffles. The waffle itself was perfectly crispy and enjoyable, but the chicken was disappointing. The menu does not indicate it is fried in the same oil as fish, yet there was a noticeable fishy aroma and aftertaste that was very off-putting. It was especially unfortunate given how generous the portion size was but it ultimately went to waste due to the flavor. While some of their other menu items may be worth trying, this experience left me unlikely to return.

Parking - Small parking lot in the shopping center which fills up quickly. Ube Latte - This was tasty and not too strong of an ube flavor. You can add espresso if you want. Sisig Burrito - It's large and hearty. I enjoyed the combination of flavors but wish that it came with a sauce and possibly a side dish. Service - Our server was very nice, but the service was slow. Our dining experience took almost 2 hours from being seated to getting the check back after paying. Mini pies are a decent size and I ordered one to go since I was full from my meal.

Great experience at Toast Kitchen & Bakery! Stopped in while catching up with my besties of 44+ years and ended up having an awesome meal. The sisig burrito was absolutely the bomb--packed with flavor! While we were there, we even had the chance to chat with the owner, which made the visit even more memorable. The atmosphere was welcoming and the servers were very attentive, pleasant, and always smiling, which made the whole experience even better. Great service goes a long way, and the team here definitely delivered. After looking over the rest of the menu, I'm already planning my next visit. The Pork Belly Bowl and Ube French Toast are next on my list. Definitely coming back!

    Pork Belly Banh Mi

I've had the food from their Costa Mesa location. I was really excited about the Tustin location opening up. I recall for the longest time we waited in anticipation for this restaurant to open. My first experience was with one coworker and we had the chicken and waffles and sisig burrito. Honestly, the taste of the food did not impress me and it was nothing special. Later on about a year later, I decided to try it with another coworker who had not been there. I was really hoping that the quality and taste would've improved but it was a letdown. I had the pork belly bowl and it was one of the oddest combinations that just was not executed well. The rice was extremely dry and crumbly, not even sure what type of rice this was, but I could not even finish it. The pork belly was strange, it was full of fat, but then the parts that had meat were extremely hard and dry, and no memorable flavor. It's almost as if it was meat that was left out and also the temperature of the food was lukewarm. And then there's the use of broccolini which was a strange texture where it seemed like it wasn't cooked and it was difficult to cut. You would think that having a fried egg would make everything better which it usually does, but there was nothing memorable about it except that it was rubbery. My coworkers seemed to be OK with their chicken sandwich and banh mi. The service was not impressive either as the food was simply brought out. Fortunately, we did have our water refilled once and that was about it. There was no other communication or checking in with us about anything.

We came in during a weekday around 1pm and was surprised to see it so packed. The server came up and gave us a few suggestions on what to order. We ended up ordering the bahn mi, ube French toast, sisig burrito, chilaquiles, and tater tots. Everything was good but the standout dish was the bahn mi, don't skip this!

Fair warning though -- I got a little too excited and bit into it too early, and it definitely burned my mouth, so give it a minute to cool down! Totally worth the wait. My aunt ordered the breakfast burrito, and it was rightfully massive -- definitely a hearty breakfast. The service was quick and efficient. The pictures and reviews of the French omelette with caviar and sourdough pancakes sold us! When we arrived, the parking situation was seamless and easy to find a spot. The place isn't big but the aesthetic is clean and simple. You go up to the register to get seated. There was a wait list since this is a cozy spot but they had chairs available outside of the entrance. The time waiting was little longer than promised but not too bad. Once we were called to our table, we had iced water cups on the table with the menus and table settings. We already knew what we wanted - a horchata iced latte and a steak breakfast burrito for me and a black strap molasses iced latte and crispy chicken sando for my bestie. We also got sourdough pancakes and the cinnamon roll to share. The coffee came first then food was pretty quickly after and presentation was beautiful. The breakfast burrito was so delicious. The scrambled eggs in the burrito were cooked perfectly and they had a perfect amount of steak pieces. They brought a strawberry haberno hot sauce for the table and it made it even tastier. I preferred that sauce over the side of green sauce. I then tried a bite of the chicken sando and wow the flavor you get in the bite was also so, so good. We also enjoyed the sourdough pancakes with the crispy edges and the cinnamon roll had the perfect amount of cinnamon! This cinnamon roll had pistachio pieces on top and it wasn't too overwhelming. As for the iced lattes, I preferred my bestie's latte more than the horchata one. The horchata one had a burnt aftertaste. Other than that, food and service was TOP NOTCH! We were greeted and treated with the best hospitality from Alex. Thank you so much! Their menu consist of breakfast, burgers, sandwiches, dinner, Mexican, salads, sides, kids, and beverages. Frisco burger has a beef patty with bacon, lettuce, tomato, American cheese, and 1000 Island dressing, served on grilled Parmesan cheese bread. The burger was decent, it didn't quite blow me away. The ingredients were fresh, and the combination was enjoyable, but I felt it was missing a little something to make it truly memorable. If you're looking for a solid burger experience, it's worth a try, but it may not be my first choice for next time. the burger was decent, it didn't quite blow me away. I would rate the Frisco burger a solid 3 out of 5. It was decent, but I expected a bit more to make it truly stand out. My boyfriend would rate it a 4/5 since it was okay for him. French fries were crispy and well-cooked, with a nice golden-brown color. They had a satisfying crunch on the outside, while remaining fluffy on the inside. I would have appreciated some dipping sauces or seasoning options on the side to enhance them a bit more. I would give the French fries a 3/5. They were decent but didn't quite wow me. Horchata was refreshing and creamy, with a lovely balance of sweetness and cinnamon spice. The texture was smooth, providing a comforting drink that complemented my meal well. I would rate the horchata a 4/5 since I have to mix mine to get the horchata flavor. Carne asada nacho fries were crispy and golden, providing the perfect foundation for all the amazing toppings. Generously layered with tender, seasoned carne asada, each bite was a wonderful blend of savory beef and crunchy fries. The melted cheese added a rich creaminess that brought everything together, while the pico de gallo contributed a refreshing burst of flavor. I love the chop chilies personally. The finishing touches of guacamole and sour cream added just the right amount of creaminess and zest. This is absolutely my favorite meal. My boyfriend and I would rate the carne asada nacho fries a perfect 5/5--an outstanding fusion of flavors and textures. The service was fast & employee is very nice and friendly. The store has a great atmosphere, spacious, and clean. There is plenty of parking. I'm only giving it a 4 because of the burger. I would definitely come back here to try their other food alternatives.
