This is a nice, pretty good sized, casual diner that appears to be quite popular with locals and regulars.... judging by how friendly and chatty the servers are with many of the customers. I've always liked the diner concept. The way it's so down to earth, casual, and unpretentious. The only thing left for me is the quality of the food, and unfortunately, what we ordered was average at best..... not the best. My wife ordered the Ribeye (medium) with Eggs with a side of hash browns, and I ordered the Chicken Cheddar Melt sandwich with Sourdough and a side of onion rings. My wife's Ribeye was overcooked to well done and tasted very tough and chewy. Fortunately, we mentioned this to our server and she was more than happy to have it redone and suggested it be cooked medium rare, so that it will more likely to then come out medium well. According to my wife, the replacement Ribeye was much better. As for my grilled chicken melt, the chicken meat was quite dry, but I didn't expect a replacement would have done anything seeing how thin the piece was... it was obvious that such a thin piece of chicken breast, so I just sucked it up and ate it as is. I did enjoy the onion rings and side of coleslaw though... these weren't bad. Unfortunately, as much as liked this nice and casual down to earth diner concept and service, the food we ordered was just not very good at all. As such, I don't think we'll be back.

Veggie omelette with biscuits and gravy

Vegetarian omelette no cheese no onion add green chiles w/biscuit and gravy for the win. Top 3 omelette of all time! Service is great. Not sure why this place isn't packed anytime of day. Well done Suzy!

Had one of the best bang for your buck steak and eggs I've ever had here. Ordered the ribeye and it was soooo good. Can't wait to come back. Service is nice too. Extra plus!

We enjoy coming here. Each time we come they provide impeccable service even though they are extremely busy. They have a great selection of breakfast foods and lunch items. The place is clean and can be a bit loud with it being so busy. They have their own parking lot as well. I enjoy their steak and eggs with sourdough toast. Since their homefries have veggies and onions in them I get French fries instead. I also order a side of crunch bacon. Hubby tries something different each time we come. He enjoys their scrambles, French toast and other items. Their food is always tasty and their prices are reasonable. They can get quite busy on the weekends so you might have to wait to be seated. Definitely a great selection to bring the family and seating for groups as well. We will continue to visit often. Be sure to check their hours as they are only open for breakfast and lunch.

One of our favorite local breakfast diners! This place is so cozy and has a charming old school diner vibe. Service and staff is always great. I believe it is a family owned business. Their menu is extensive and offers a lot of different options. I tried the chili verde omelette and the sauce was good and the carnitas were very tender. My boyfriend had the clubhouse triple decker and he enjoyed it. Their portion sizes are really big as well. Our usual favorites from here are the country fried steak (so so good!), the waffles or pancakes, and their country breakfast. Overall, this diner is solid and would highly recommend for a comforting breakfast spot.

This lil mom & pop dinner is the best. The food is always delicious and hits the spot. The staff are amazing. With a quaint atmosphere and great food is always a wonderful experience.

Great find. Great food, great service. Clean, friendly and delicious. I ordered the waffle combo, all bacon, gravy on my hash brown and strawberries on top of my waffle. It was delicious!

You'd think multi billion dollar corporations would have the wherewithal to tape up their coffee drink hole....nope! But Suzy's does!

I've been coming here almost every weekday morning for nearly 3 weeks since my company relocated. I'm used to relying on MxDonalds or Starbucks for breakfast (I don't like to cook in the morning and I live alone) But Suzy's? There's something special here. They really care. The food is made with love. The atmosphere is so welcoming. The nice lady at the counter always makes sure I have utensils, salsa, a drink carrier..... even puts a little bit of tape on the drink hole of my coffee when I take things to go; so it doesn't spill. This kind of courtesy and thoughtfulness really doesn't exist in America too much anymore. But it does at Suzy's. And that's why I'll keep comin' back!

    Eggs Benedict

Just got done having breakfast at this place on a Sunday late morning. I ordered the eggs Benedict with extra crisp hashbrowns and fresh fruit and it was truly delicious.. The service was great. The food was delicious. We didn't have to wait long at all and everything was wonderful including the music. They played Christopher Cross , America, Loggins and Messina, Bread, and more. I was happy and it was the perfect vibe for my Sunday brunch.

We arrived at 9:45 AM, and by 11:04 AM our breakfast still had not been served. The restaurant was almost empty when we arrived, so the long wait was very disappointing. My family was really hungry, and the service was extremely poor. Waiting over an hour for breakfast without receiving our food is unacceptable. Overall, it was a very bad experience. The Table was La 33

came back to try stonefire grill again after having it years ago. it was pretty busy on a saturday…read moreevening, but we didn't have to wait to order or have any trouble finding a table. it's a pretty casual establishment with plenty of tables and seats. our cashier was very nice and helpful, but once you're seated it is tricky to get assistance for other stuff; but we just went up to the front whenever we needed something. as for the food: -tri tip (bbq) & 1/4 grilled chicken (lemon garlic) personal meal with cornbread casserole: 8/10 everything was cooked and seasoned nicely, but the portions are quite small for what you're paying for. the breadsticks are very similar to olive garden's and just mediocre. the cornbread casserole was quite moist and had a good sweetness to it! -7" nashville hot chicken pizza with carrot cake and caesar salad: 8/10 the pizza had good flavors with the buffalo and hot honey but it is a very oily pizza! the carrot cake was moist and just a tad too sweet for my taste but still good regardless. the caesar salad was really good with the sauce it came with but the sauce is very garlic prominent! -tomesto personal sized pasta: 7/10 the pesto pasta was very yummy and you can't really go wrong/mess up a pesto pasta but the tomato pasta on the other hand was very one note and bland for my taste. pasta was cooked nicely to al dente though

My husband and I used to love Stonefire Grill years ago when we visited their Northridge location,…read moreespecially the ribs, salads, and tri-tip. So when we saw the Fountain Valley location, we stopped in for old times' sake. Unfortunately, we were very disappointed. We ordered a full rack of ribs, Caesar salad, and breadsticks. The ribs were dry and overly seasoned, and the sauce tasted more like ketchup than barbecue sauce. The Caesar salad was just okay. The breadsticks tasted frozen and quickly reheated, with a processed texture. They were also out of beer. And at 7 PM there were only five tables with customers The only positives were prompt service, quick food, and surprisingly great carbonation in the Diet Coke. The meal was around $60, which is affordable, but I'd rather pay more for better quality. I'm not sure if this is just a location issue or if the company has changed, but based on this visit, we won't be back.
