After going through their instagram posts, I decided to go for it and was able to set up an appointment through DM. The place was very clean and organized and you get your own private area. They even put relaxing music which I enjoyed a lot. I didn't get a lot of time to go over the styles and stuff with the technician since it seemed that she wasn't comfortable speaking in English. I ended up choosing the 2D natural wispy style but didn't get to go over what type of curl. Since I have monolids, it can be very tricky to get the right style to suit my eye shape and I would value having a technician who would have more knowledge on what styles suit monolids more. My technician was very quick. She finished doing my lashes in about 45 minutes. The end product did not look bad at all but since I have straight stubborn lashes, it does weigh down the extensions, making my eyes look even smaller. I really wish I could've asked for D curl instead since I believe that would help lift my eyelids a bit. Also, I do not feel any poking or itching whatsoever which I'm really thankful for but I really wish the extensions were applied more evenly. I could see some areas on my right eye that is more sparse than my left. In addition to the lengths which do not look even when my eyes are open.

Girl cancel what and wheres the apology AT LEAST for the shitty experience. Then proceeds to hang up as soon as my mom says no. Ridiculous. Old review: They did my sister's and mom's lash lift on Sunday (4/21), which thanks for taking us in, but not really because of how bad the lash lift turned out. She said my sister had a gap in her lashes so thats why it came out the way it did..... My sister has gotten lash lifts done MULTIPLE times and they have never turned out like this.... the lady also asked if my sister was korean and told my sister to get double eyelid surgery so that when she gets lash lifts it wouldnt lift her eye lid?? I had to ask for multiple reapplications of the numbing cream, and to be honest, I wish I had found Salin sooner. I had been looking to get eyeliner done because as I age and can no longer see clear up close (don't get me started with trying to put on eyeliner with reading glasses), my eyeliner just looks horrible. After following Salin's page, I decided to go for it. I developed allergies to magnetic eyeliners since I was wearing magnetic lashes, and I needed to do something about my appearance. I made an appointment and drove an hour out to see her. My best advice is to arrive early because of traffic. Yes, you do have to pay before the procedure. The price is adjusted depending on the shape you want. I didn't mind that. I understood that this was a business, and who knows, maybe she got scammed before. Anyway, I was willing to pay extra because I have hooded eyes, and like I mentioned before, I have difficulty putting on eyeliner. Being Asian, my eyes are hooded and small, and I have no eyelid crease. So I have a different problem entirely. We spent a good 30 minutes getting the shape right. I wasn't picky about the shape because she is a professional, and after seeing photos of her work, I trusted her judgment and told her to do what she felt was best. We changed shapes twice, and honestly, I am glad she did. The first drawn in line was ok. However, when my eyes were open, you couldn't see them. She changed it to a different style I have never seen before and WOW! My eyes look way better! I don't look so tired! I will also add that I felt no pain! So much that I fell asleep, and she said I was snoring a little! :) Anyways, the procedure from the time I arrived to the time I left was around 3 hours long. Salin is truly worth it. I will return to her to fix my lip blush. Also, keep in mind. Not many permanent makeup artists work on the eyelid. She is truly a master. For those commenting on thick eyeliner, it is worth it for people with hooded eyes like me. If you had big eyes with an eyelid crease, you may not need it. But for someone with eyelids like mine... I need it. If she teaches it to her students, it's good because she is accommodating all different eye shapes. I made an appointment for a touch up next month. Can't wait!
