I've been to several lash spots in San Gabriel Valley but this has to be my favorite one. My go to technician is Cynthia. She's very fast and has done my lashes and brows. Her retention is great and my lashes can last for three weeks. I've gone to other girls as well and they are all talented. I love how they have thicker and comfier blankets than other places and their prices are affordable. Their online scheduling system is great too! The parking is so easy and convenient. Was referred here by a FB group, needed a fill while my normal lady was on vacation. The whole process was unsatisfactory. While working on my fill my technicians hands were shaking. Which felt unsettling. My lashes were not what I picked out (to "thick" for my liking but I was just glad I got my fill. When I got in my car I noticed that some of my old lashes were still attached. The fill was uneven. I wasn't happy with the service and just figured I would have them re done when my usual lady came back. When we finished she asked me to schedule in 2 weeks. 2 weeks?! My lashes normally last like 4-6 weeks (usually if I use eye liner more the last less time). I scheduled with intention of cancelling. I paid and tipped because I believe that time worked deserves a tip. 2 days later as I blinked I started noticing randoms lashes fall. Over the span of 2-4 days after I got them a finger tip size gap had appeared front and center of my lashes. I wasn't happy and so embarrassed. They looked awful. I went back and they immediately apologized and fixed them but charged $40 . Same shaky hands, same uneven placement and within days, more fell out. Not just the occasional old shed, those ones were almost gone. Yes I still had some original lashes still on from my original set. They were longer and thinner so I could tell which were new and wish were older. My original lady is back. I went and had her remove them all and start a new set. Her reaction to my lashes was more than enough. She didn't say one mean thing other than "ohhhh did u like this type" when I said no, she just smiled politely. So happy she is back. I can only speak regarding MY lash technician. I do not remember her name and I tried to do a review on their site but it doesn't allow you to unless you have an appointment scheduled the day of review. They have many technicians, I would not feel comfortable referring or not referring. All I say is I was not happy with the service I received there. My daughter followed Tao from her former salon... I followed her and was fortunate enough to meet Doris! She is absolutely the best . Lashes are always perfect, last between appointments, never burn and very rarely do I lose a lash. She is also incredibly sweet and ever so fun as well as the consummate professional. I got my lashes done by Casey, she is very sweet and gentle. It was my first time ever getting lash extensions and she was very informative in suggesting the best last style for my eye shape. She worked very efficiently and carefully to make my lashes look beautiful! It's a very nice, cute and clean salon. You feel welcomed to your appointment, each lash artist has their own private space. It's very quiet and relaxing, they offer blankets and pillows if needed. Will be a returning client! read more

I only ask Nina to do my eyelashes. She is amazing . My eyes became super big after getting eyelash extensions .Her eyelash extensions are not only fast, but also very strong. I usually go to her for eyelash extensions every one and a half to two months.Highly recommend Nina.Nina is the BEST!!!! By the way, The environment here is very good. Cynthia, the owner of Yomi Lashes, has been serving at Sumi Lashes for over 8 years. She was formerly the manager of Sumi Lashes Arcadia before taking over and purchasing the store. Together with her partner Nina, she founded Yomi Lashes to provide high-quality services at affordable prices. Located in DT Arcadia, CA. She had gotten my appointment mixed up but was still able to do my lashes. She didn't ask how curled or lifted I wanted my lashes to be. During the appointment, she spilt something in my eye and it stung ALOT, but she was able to clean it up quick. My lashes did not look very lifted at all and they are uneven, and so I left her know if there was anything to fix this...which is when she mentioned that she had smaller rods that she could use NEXT TIME. I'm a little upset that she didn't ask prior to working on my lashes on what I wanted if she had different options for levels of lift. I get that she got her schedules mixed up, and maybe that's why she forgot to ask/offer different styles? She offered to give me a discount the next time I came back...but I came her solely because I have an event the next day. I don't know if I will be coming back on my own. She was sweet and the space was clean and quiet, but I guess my lesson is to ask before trusting them. Edit: She reached out to me immediately and asked for me to come in tomorrow so that she could fix them. She fit me in with my availability, which I was very thankful for. I voiced my concerned and I asked for the lift to atleast be evened out, which she did! I appreciate her taking the time to fix my lashes. I had recently purchased a soap that helps with skin discoloration. It hasn't been making any improvement in the uneven skin tone and dark marks on my feet. Turns out I just needed an appointment with Ms. Glen. The exfoliation she provided literally rubbed away 15 years from my feet. My dry scratchy heels were left supple and smooth and the calloused areas were left soft. Had I known what I was in store for I would have taken before and after pictures. She even provided socks for me to leave in, to seal in the moisture. My favorite part hands down was the massage. She kneaded into these tired soles, and I needed that! I paid a little more than the price listed (which she does quote as a base price) but she also spent almost 2x the amount of time listed. My Fiancé noticed the difference in appearance and feel immediately. I intentionally waited until 24 hours+ had passed to write this review, wanting to see if my feet would feel just as nice. THEY DO!! Ms. Glen definitely puts pride in her work and I love how she checked in throughout the process to ensure I was satisfied along the way. I recommend her service to anyone looking to give their feet a more youthful feel and look. And if your feet have severe issues that might keep you from visiting open public salons, her private suite will help you feel comfortable and secure. Right before I left, Ms. Glen threw in a bottle of her therapeutic hand & foot oil once she saw how dry my hands were. Then together we decided on the perfect look. I was her last appointment of the day and she was not rushing , I felt like she enjoys her work and takes pride in her craft.
