The sales worker did not engage with us at all, suggesting she is not connected with the production of the products here or earning commission for selling them. This area is a blend of street vendors selling hand made necklaces, cigars, etc. along with mid-end storefronts like this that could easily be in Carmel. We lean more towards the local stuff as souvenirs of the trip for it's organic, hipster quality. Perhaps the wealthier locals or travelers shop here. Nice store, great clothes, expect to pay USD prices.

For example, I did a facial laser treatment and wanted to pick up some new facial soap that wasn't harsh on the skin. A small bottle of cera ve costs $20 and a 20-pill bottle of Tylenol was over$10. But I purchased a nice purse, big enough to hold my iPad, by a Mexican company that was $100 and I received a gift card back for a future purchase. So if you're purchasing Mexican products, it's great. But anything outside of that is quite expensive. I will say that they had a huge variety of products. It's two stories and some of the staff speak English. Otherwise, connect to WiFi and use Google Translate. It's been a lifesaver.
