My Husband and I are happy with our 1hr therapy massage. This place feels a bit new to me, not sure how long they've been operating, possibly just a few years. The staff speaks English very well. We opt for the strong pressure with a focus on neck/ shoulder and lower back and thats exactly what we got. There was no pain when massaging. My husband said he felt very relaxed after the massage. The rooms seemed pretty clean. Prices are more than fair. With 1hr body massage starting at just $50. By the way, i should mention, we got the full 60 mins of massage that we paid for, I know there are other massage shops that say 1hr massage, but only provide 50mins so I'm happy that the description is honest. We walked in with no mask on and they provided clean new mask. They take credit cards. The staff was very friendly and gave very good vibes. Im not sure if they have it but after a good massage, it'd be extra special to have some hot ginger tea to help with detox after loosening up. We will be back another time for sure. read more

We loved it, I was asked the type of pressure I wanted in which I mentioned I had a torn muscle in my shoulder I didn't want it touched at all. During the massage the older man I was assigned more than likely forgot my request and began massaging my shoulder in which I asked him not to do that shoulder and he apologized then began the other one then returned back to the same shoulder. I told him not to do that shoulder again in which he just moved on to doing my legs and avoided the upper body entirely for the rest of hour session. My mom absolutely loved it tho. I've gone to this business many times now and each time is just as good as the last. They're easy to schedule with and I've gotten quality massages every single time I've gone. I send all my friends and family here, and convinced my manager to get us gift cards for Christmas last year. I had a couples massage with therapy here and it was amazing! I don't recommend the oil for those who have sensitive skin because it does have a similar burning sensation like icy hot. But, if you can endure the oil warmth I can feel my muscles relaxing and the knots physically kneading out. Such a great experience for a good price. read more

During my hunt for the best massage place in Merced/Atwater area I came upon I Love spa. Unfortunately I did not have a good experience. From the lack of feeling like a welcome customer, the disregard to my own basic preference of being comfortable and (in my opinion) an environment that wasn't peaceful at all, I love spa originally got a 1 star review from me. Fortunately they reached out to me after the fact, giving me a refund and informing me my review is important to their business. They are a new business so hopefully they continue to improve. The massage itself was good even though I couldn't fully relax with all of the distractions. If they made it policy for employees to not have idle conversation with each other while giving a massage and either lowered the volume of the office phone or had better sound proofing for the rooms it would have been much more enjoyable. For some reason it was really hard for them to understand I wanted the 60 min body and 30 min foot smart combo (as advertised) while my friend just wanted the 60 min body massage. A simple laminated page with their services and an erasable marker to circle what you want would be a cheap and easy fix and a big improvement from what I went through. Overall, improve the environment by reducing noise pollution and dim the lights, make it easy to convey what services the customer wants and if a women wants to lay her arms next to her body, just let her do it. I really hope this review is helpful and my advice is taken seriously. I would very much enjoy coming back here in a couple of months and having a completely different and improved experience. read more

I always go to this spa place every month or sometimes twice a month. I even brought my visiting family here because I felt like all the masseuses are great so any day at any time you'd have a great experience- or so I thought. I'd have to update my review and take a star off based on my visit just now. I called around 3PM and was scheduled for 4:10 for a 1hr combo massage. I usually love this place because they have the paper where you check off the services and specify which parts you'd like to have more focus on. The first half of my massage was fine however when it came to the body massage I just felt like it missed all the parts that I had circle and was kind of just a random massage where they just make circles with there hands. It was still okay with my this time but as it progressed it turned to just missing the spots into just rushing all the spots even though I had about 45 minutes for my body from when I came into my room after my foot massage. What really made me want to update my review was by the time I was done, I still had 10 minutes on the clock. I didn't make a fuss about it and even left a nice tip still. It's just something that I thought needed to be brought up. Hopefully next time, I'd just ask for specific masseuse like Kevin :) read more

Staff falls asleep while doing massage.. inconsistent quality...you might be happy you might not...some gals here are great while others use no pressure and merely rub with tons of oil over knots instead of working them out...I had a card with (6) stamps from visits with a promise of discount after I think the 9 the visit...
