My dog, Emmy, and I are absolutely obsessed with this park:…read more* Sports and/or movies playing in the big screens (yes--multiple!) * Clean and very well-maintained thanks to our amazing, friendly East Cut Ambassadors * Delicious tacos, tortas and gyros * A cute playground for the kids * Have I mentioned the cute kids?? They're SO sweet and always ask to play with my dog. * A beer garden for the grown-ups with amazing bartenders--Arthur is basically Sam Malone meets Ted from Bill and Ted's Excellent Adventure * Boba and Brew always get my order wrong in the most endearing ways possible. I ask for a croissant--they give me a cookie as if to quietly suggest, "I know you think you want a classy, French pastry but you need chocolate chips in your life." * Free Wi-Fi The vibes are amazing here. This park is literally the cure for depression. It's like being transported into a John Hughes movie and your neighbors are grown-up John Cusack, Molly Ringwald and Matthew Broderick.

There was a nice restaurant nearby, making it an ideal spot to enjoy sports and socialize. I rated it four out of five stars mainly because of bathroom accessibility. While I understand it was a Super Bowl event, for other occasions, waiting 30 minutes to an hour for the bathroom could be improved. Providing more public restrooms or portable toilets could enhance the experience for future events.

This review is more or less 3 and a half stars. I come here for a corporate soccer league on…read moreWednesdays, and the refs are pretty decent calling the games. My gripes are really towards the field conditions. I understand that the fields will be turf because it'd be a huge expense to have to constantly seed and water and cut grass. The field conditions are just really bad. I'm the goalie for my team, and there are so many random dips and holes in the penalty area on both fields. Even when I go to do a pitch inspection before the games, I check the dips, and I'm still caught by surprise by how low the dips are. Then, when you talk about the outfield, there are too many dips and holes. My coworkers have gotten injured way too often from unsafe playing conditions. From twisted ankles and sprained calves, it's way too much. Management really needs to invest in resurfacing the fields.

Had a very fun offsite here!…read more We did the archery tag & bubble soccer combination, which was exciting and a lot more tiring than I thought it would be. The online reservation process was a breeze and they were very accommodating with our dates. One suggestion for improvement: The arm guards for archery could really use an upgrade. It'd make the game a lot more fun if we didn't have to worry about getting bruises on the forearm. Tips for Yelpers who are considering booking: 1. Do not eat before the game (it's very tempting as the location is right next to a food truck park). 2. Consider bringing your own arm guards. 3. Do stretch before and after the game, you'd thank yourself the next day. 4. Enjoy!

I'm really glad I signed up my daughter for these soccer lessons. Each week, she engages in a…read more40-min session, where she gets to interact with others kids, and learn developmental skills appropriate for her age group. They learn things like stop, go, wait your turn, and following direction. They learn how to work in a group, and also to work independently, or with partners. They learn to run, kick the ball, but do other things like kick the cones, run around the cones, etc. The activities from week to week change, nothing's really ever the same. She's not learning soccer moves or how to play soccer, per se, but rather just developmental things that are fun and important for kids and their learning. The classes are setup by age level. I will say that my daughter is one of the younger ones in the class, and I do find it harder for her to follow direction compared to the other older kids. There are no makeup classes which is the only bummer, except when it gets rained out. Oh well. I love the little soccer shirt they provide on the first day of class with their name on it, and you can also upgrade to get soccer shorts and socks (so cute) for an extra $20. The locations are spread out across the city, but I love that the one I go to is within 5-6 min drive of me, and the parking at Golden Gate Park is very plentiful at Mother's Meadow each week I go! The coaches, Brian and Jesse, are wonderful, so passionate. They're so amazing with all of the kids, they're very patient, kind, and also help with redirection. They're very enthusiastic, and have lots of energy. What else could you want from a soccer coach?! They also can remember your child's name from week to week, they have great memory! I would highly recommend SF Tots to your child to get them out of the house and learn new things with this fun and engaging soccer class.
