Looks can be deceiving! Very deceiving!! I've been to this place for breakfast, once, and it was good. Not outstanding, not awesome, just good. The lunch menu looked really good, so I tried it out. Walked into an old diner with community tables and smaller tables, all placed very close together. Very small inside and you can watch the cook make your food. It's one big room, basically, divided by a counter where you also pay your bill. The decorations all about bacon and pigs, of course. All the walls are covered in this motif. Started with an appetizer of fried green tomatoes. They came out really hot, but absolutely no flavor! Added salt and dipped in the house made ranch dressing. Still not much better. The ranch dressing did not have much flavor either. Weird! My bacon cheeseburger came next. It looked so good!!! I picked it up and took a big unlady-like bite, and absolutely no flavor!! How can that be? Well, to start with, the cheese was a velvetta slice. It masks flavor. But the meat had absolutely no seasoning on it! None, zilch, zero! I added salt, pepper and catsup. Took a couple more bites and gave up. Lost total interest in that beautiful looking burger. The fries were crispy and good though! The service was nice and friendly! The best part of this dining experience in my opinion. The food isn't horrible, just no flavor. Hard to imagine by looking at the plate you're served that it would be tasteless. We found this place on Yelp while traveling home from vacation. The food and service were amazing. I highly recommend the chicken fried steak sandwich...it is HUGE! Delicious too!! For a breakfast diner it doesn't get any better. I went my wife and three kids and it was the exact experience I was looking for. I ordered the Big Pig Omelette and honestly it was the best Omelette I have eaten. Full of a multitude of meats, veggies and jalepenos! Food came out in about 7 minutes, a woman attended to us with the expert efficiency of a short order waitress all while firing off greetings to new entrants with a cacophony of "yalls" and "howdys" The biscuits were fresh and moist and oh yeah sausage gravy! We eat here every time we are even close to Eufaula. Their breaded pork chops are the best I've had at any restaurant. My family and I stopped in during a storm just as the power went out. They still served amazing food, and we had wonderful service. The power was out the entire time, and they cook by flashlight. It was awesome! This is my favorite cafe! read more

Worth the Stop! Rather in the area for a little R&R or just passing by Eufaula, OK put this place on your list of "MUST STOP". Great food, friendly family type eatery, lots and lots of food, and at a good price. You can't go wrong here...unless you're a non-meat eater :) We tried the Big Pig omelet, Big Meat omelet, the Whole Hawg breakfast, French toast, pork chops, and the cheese burger. This is a great place for breakfast. The country ham and eggs was great. You can exchange tomatoes for the hashbrowns. My wife had the bacon and eggs with hashbrowns which was very good. The owner is a hoot. She treats you like old friends. read more

I ate here yesterday and it was ok, nothing special and returned today for breakfast. Had bacon eggs over easy, hash browns and Texas toast. The eggs were not as ordered but no big deal, most places do not get them medium. But the hash browns were horrible. I actually had to spit them into my napkin. Hard to explain but they were so "rubbery" I could not chew them. The waitresses was friendly and is why I gave it a very generous 2 stars. Wish I went to McD's. read more

We came because of the yelp reviews. It was definitely busy but we were able sit quickly. I ordered the hand burrito with a side of hash browns and a pancake. My husband got the pig omelette. The food was good, nothing spectacular but good for what it was. We did have to wait about 35-40 minutes for our food. We would come back. Came here last year while visiting as I loved the name. Was impressed by food and service. Small restaurant and you can see who is cooking your meal. Staff is friendly is funny and makes you feel at home and your coffee cup is never empty. The food is standard bacon and eggs breakfast fare but home cooked and delicious. Me and my hubby are steak eaters and the steak in au jus sauce was phenomenal! The homemade vanilla cheesecake pie you have to try too! Our dinner definitely hit the spot! Thank you for your exceptional service! The reason I gave only a 4 star is because when we were eating, we were asked if we wanted a piece of the pie while it was in their hand and the way it was offered gave us the impression it was being given to us but we were charged for the pie and fruit on top. My husband and I just happened upon this little hole in the wall diner. Awesome food, awesome service. I had the Big Pig omelet filled with bacon, ham, sausage, mushrooms, jalapeños, onions, cheese, and tomato. Oh my! Out of this world delish. My husband had 2 grilled pork steaks that were grilled to perfection, served with fresh pinto beans, corn and salad. They had yummy, gooey looking cinnamon rolls, but unfortunately, off limits for me. I was quite impressed with food and service. Very popular among locals. A must go if you enjoy good, down home cooking, served with a smile! BTW, someone next to us ordered a BLT...mile high bacon, with fresh tomatoes looked awesome! Have fun and enjoy!
