It's a down home feel with locals all around - the folks that own it are a family in the area. It's a way out of "town" and is part of a very rural area about 25 mins outside of Fort Smith (the biggest city nearby). They offer puddings for dessert (box made - not homemade) and animal crackers, marshmallows and peaches and cottage cheese for the finish of the meal. However, I've been disappointed to hear how management handles some employee situations. According to my friend, no clear reason was given for the termination, which seemed unfair and unprofessional. The employees deserve a lot of credit for the quality service they provide, and they are the reason I would still recommend this restaurant. My only concern is with management practices and how staff members are treated behind the scenes. I hope ownership takes steps to improve communication and transparency with their employees because the staff are one of this restaurant's greatest strengths.
