I had see BumbleBee Skincare and waxing on my way to and from work and just passed it thinking parking would be inconvenient. However, I made a hassle free appointment using the MindBOdy app and realized they have free parking around the corner. I was a little skeptical initially so I only booked an under arm appointment. When I entered the business, I was brightly greeted by their amazing front desk associate. She was kind and professional. I really miss that quality of care in customer service but had become accepting of it. This was a great change. I was also happy to feel taken care of by a very knowledgable professional. I happen to ask how long they've been in business and was not surprised to find out it was 19 years. You can really tell when a business care for their employees and their well being. I really wish I had started my waxing experience here. The wax or method they use is fast, effective and pretty much painless. I left happy and with a wonderful face scrub and was happy that I found a new home for waxing. It feels absolutely luxurious and spa like. I went home and booked a brazilian for the next day. The usual dread of certain areas that are usually very painful were unperceived by the conversation. My surprise at how efficient and fast my wax was left me beyond grateful and knowing I'd found a new go-to place. I am very excited to try their facials soon and learn more about taking care of my skin this year.

Small location compared to my home European Wax Center…read more Made an appointment on a whim for a Thursday afternoon. Went early as I had no idea where this location was. Turns out it was a smart decision as it's hidden in a plaza with a Publix. Felt out of place. Both the location and my actual person. I am so used to going to the same European Wax Center that I forgot the last time I had been asked about a bunch of forms. No matter - I did it on the app beforehand, but it felt weird. Jamiaiya wound up attending me as I had chosen the first available person. She was very sweet and she had the magic touch. Very gentle. I nearly didn't feel a thing. Only reason I even felt a glimpse of pain for my upper lip was because it had been too long, but believe me, I've been doing this for years, and Jamiaya was amazing. Anyhow, when all is said and done, I'm pleased with this location and the services I received. I also found them slightly cheaper than my home European Wax Center in South Florida, so there's that to think about as well.

He then shows me to a room in the back, cozy room with good lighting, where I got undressed and waited for my masseuse. In comes May, gorgeous lady and very sweet. She did one hell of a job, first relaxing me with a cleaning on the table shower, followed by such a detailed massage session getting every inch of my tense, stressed body. Didn't speak too much English, but just enough to have small talk. Only reason why this doesn't have 5 stars is at the end, I offered a 20% tip to what I paid, and she said that wasn't enough. I came in with horrible edema. I had fluid around my chest and gripping my lungs. Breathing was…read morevery difficult. My ear had scar tissue from a previous plastic surgery procedure and my legs were huge! Walking was very difficult. I investigated several people for Lymphatic Drainage, knowing that if not done correctly, it can hurt you and be counterproductive. I could not drive and could barely walk without holding onto something. I found Pam Moyer, who was trained in the Vodder Technique of manual lymphatic drainage. Let me tell you- it was not what I was expecting! How can such a gentle touch produce such spectacular results? I don't know but it worked. After the session, I was very tired and went home and rested. I also "disposed of a lot of liquid" afterwards. (Nice way of saying I peed a lot). The following morning the band that had been like a vice on my lungs had disappeared and I would breathe with ease. While hydrating, I was getting rid of fluid as fast as I could take it in. The size of my calf's and ankles went down. I had to have more of that magic so I booked another session. I was so much better that I could actually drive myself this time! This session concentrated on the ear scar tissue (it was much looser) and my legs and ankles. And then back up to my lungs again. Two days after this session, my legs looked thinner and the edema was much better. I discontinued us of Lasix for the edema because it was so much better. My calves were down another 2 inches! Pam gave me all kinds of hints to use at home and she was willing to answer my questions and share her knowledge. I don't understand how it works completely but I know that she has some magic in her hands. I will be going to her for the Lymphatic Drainage as needed. (I anticipate a few more sessions). They also have massages and facials here so I can't wait to book a nice deep massage! I can only say Thank You, Pam, for all that you've done for me. I'm walking. I can breathe and I can drive again. I must have been a basket case for her since I had just been released from the hospital after 6 days and I was pitiful. Now, I am getting better all the time thanks to Pam and the Lymphatic drainage.
