I've…read morelived in a Bel-Cross Property for not even two months, and have an 18 month lease, so that won't be my concern at this point. All I can say is I love the property I now call home. It's a 1904 4 bedroom 2 bath house with a basement, attic and double size yard. I have more deer for neighbors than humans and live less than a mile from downtown Morgantown. I moved in right before the sub zero cold snap. The house was cold and the gas boiler system couldn't adequately heat the house, but maintenance showed up with two space heaters I used for the unusually cold days. It go so bad I even had a water pipe burst, and maintenance was there in an amazing 20 minutes. I recently had a minor gas leak from my stove. Again, within half an hour I got help and everything is good as can be. So yes, it's an older home with some of the inconveniences and issues that arise...but Bel-Cross also compensates for that with on the spot maintenance. Previous to this home, I lived in a Morgantown three bedroom apartment that was supposed to be smoke free. I was probably the only non smoker in the building. I had to drive to the laundry room (and pay for every load), drive to get the mail, and walk quite a way to the garbage...up and down very icy shaky wooden stairs. So now I have a much bigger house, with my own washer and dryer. Mail is delivered right beside my front door, and garbage and recycling is at the curb. I also have three large off street gravel parking spaces to use that I share with no one else. And the rent of this house is $79 less a month than the awful apartment complex I lived in! So five stars so far, and I'm just not worried about the security deposit at this point. What's more important is does the property management firm properly manage the property?

I had a leak in my roof for months before I could get someone to fix it. The rents are cheap for a reason, you are going to be dealing with issues.

I researched local real estate agents on Yelp from Cali and found few. I think I contacted three with decent reviews and only two responded to my inquiry. Jessica was referred to me by her colleague at Century 21 and was the first agent to reach out. I'm so glad for this bit of luck! Also, this initial correspondence, with Jessica being prompt and taking action is what you can expect of her in your real estate dealings. I'll spare you the minutia but we went through two months of bids, bad inspections and more with Jessica. She always led us through situations with an understanding and patient manner. She was never pushy but she was appropriately leading when her knowledge lent to the situation. This is often as Jessica grew up in the area and has extensive know how when it comes to Morgantown and the surrounding area. She will listen to your needs and she'll get sh*t done (her phrase)! Keep in mind that I was in the late stages of pregnancy or with a newborn through this process. I was difficult to deal with to say the least. She was always understanding and she went far out of her way to make the process as simple as possible for us. I cannot day enough about Jessica's integrity, character and professionalism. I would use her services a hundred times over in this area and I highly recommend her to anyone searching here on Yelp. You will not be disappointed.

MOST UNPROFESSIONAL COMPANY!! I'm not an engineering client, but I am a client who bought a used…read morevehicle from them....a 2006 Dodge Ram. John Haynes, Drilling Manager, was the representative who sold me the vehicle on Ebay. He made misrepresentations in the description of the vehicle and even told me it drives fine. I drove all the way to West Virginia from New Mexico expecting to drive the truck home. I didn't even make it out of West Virginia. The motor was blowing oil thru the turbo into the exhaust at a rate of a gallon for every hundred miles, which could have caused a fire while I was driving it. I left the truck at a gas station and arranged to have it transported to my home. I emailed John Hayes and David Meadows at the corporate office explaining what happened, and asked to at least be compensated for the transportation cost that I incurred because of the lies and misrepresentation told to me. Neither of them had the decency to reply back. This is astounding to not get a response, especially from a firm that represents itself as "professional" and claims it "listens" to its clients. I have never dealt with such an unprofessional company that doesn't think it's important to respond back to its customers. With Triad's Drilling Manager blatantly lying to me about the condition of the company's vehicle, I would think that corporate would respond with an apology. The company's actions in choosing not to respond to me in order to make things right for what their representative did clearly demonstrates their true unprofessionalism and indicates that they do not hold high ethical standards. I hope all potential and current clients see this post so they are aware of the kind of company Triad Engineering, Inc. is and the kind of treatment they provide their customers.
