As I was not home during all of this, their inspector called me to ensure me the process would be safe for my child who is allergic to mold. Working with base housing is so difficult due to base housing having a gross lack of communication and follow through but we finally got a couple guys out from Masterpiece Construction to complete the repairs. So Masterpiece Construction sent out Micah and Dal. They were so nice and very quick and efficient. They had great communication and did everything beautifully like the damage never happened as you can see with the in progress and after pictures. They cleaned up and didn't leave a single trace of any construction work in my home. He swept and mopped which he didn't have to do but it was much appreciated. After more than four years of delays and lack of progress, I finally gave up in February 2026 due to their inability to deliver. For comparison, another firm I worked with completed a far more complex Kailua project and obtained its permit in under a year. Structural Hawaii has been a major disappointment.
