I wish I would've saw this other review before scheduling! This lady was so unprofessional…read more We communicated via text only. We only sent a few originally back and forth and a time slot. I said I was coming from a previous apt and wrote it in my phone as 2pm. Mind you I had no communication before or reminders of when this apt was just one text that wasn't saved. I get there at 145pm, the environment was strange, no one was there & just rock music playing in this self promoted 'spa-like' counseling place. I wait and nothing so then I call the number. It immediately texts me saying I can only text it or call a different # it provided. Then it dawns on me I was trying to remember if my apt was at 1 or 2 since there was no confirmation. I ask the text number. Nothing. I call 2-3 times the other #. Nothing. To not further feel like a stalker I left one last attempt of a voicemail and one more text trying to communicate when the apt is. At 230, I left. I then shortly after get a passive aggressive text about a previous message of ours showing apt was 1pm. No call or text trying to further communicate. Just a screenshot of our first text which I didn't have. No reminders. Nothing. I also don't get why I was trying harder to communicate and clear up this apt being our first schedule more than her. I am so glad I have experience with other professionals in this field & a foundation of counseling otherwise I can see those being vulnerable feeling so off-put that this personal is a professional. Probably why a lot of people don't respect some counselors and why she has an open list while others are full. I'd definitely go to someone else before trying deal with someone who has communication style like that. Bullet dodged and I'd recommend doing the same!

Her office is very warm and inviting, I felt very comfortable the moment I walked in which really helps to feel comfortable and opening up with her the very first session.

Do yourself a favor and seek help from a real doctor with a PhD that knows what the hell they are…read moredoing. After moving to Idaho, I needed to find a new doctor to see for my ADHD medication. i was first diagnosed by a very renound specialist in Seattle and after several place I tests on multiple medications, we found the best one to which I was given. For years I have had the same psychiatrist in Santa. Barbara who also is actually quite famous as far as a specialist with ADHD and has been in practice for over 45 years. What was not only surprising, but appalling and extremely offensive was to be told that my dosage was way too high, and that my doctor was way out of line in prescribing that to me. Before being on this med, I bombed out of school (my parents were educators) went through job after job, and lived a chaotic life. Once I started taking it, I enrolled in college (I only had a GED) finished a four year degree in under three, was accepted to Law School, and ended up with the highest GPA in that Law School in 11years. Yes the doctor did not know a thing. This was stated by a person who has some piece of paper from some community college stating she was qualified to do what she was doing. i find it not only ridiculous, but very dangerous that a person with a two year, community college degree that has been working in this area for maybe all of five years, knows better and knows more than a Harvard Medical School grad who's earned a reputation world-wide, written four books on ADHD, and has been working in this field for 45 + years. Go see a real doctor that KNOWS what they are doing.
