He blamed my motor's custom design for the issue, even though the real problem was his shop's failure to secure it properly. He eventually fixed it, but then called me just to gripe and complain about how he "wasted his time" on a "dumb motor." A professional shop should know how to follow basic safety specs the first time. The owner's lack of accountability and his aggressive attitude are completely unacceptable. Save yourself the stress and the safety risk, take your boat somewhere else!

I couldn't have asked for a better experience. We did some shopping in their proshop area for all of our gear and they offered us a generous discount for purchasing our boat with them! We did a demo on the water the day we picked it up and learned about all the features on the boat. Chip got back to us quickly, said the damage looked pretty bad, and he would need to see it before he could put together the repair estimate. I dropped the boat off and Chip got back quickly via email, with numerous pictures of all the visible damage especially under the boat. The impact caused extensive cracks radiating several feet beyond the fiberglass damage. Unfortunately, the repair estimate was more than we had thought, and our insurance told us it would be totaled. Chip had stored our boat for a couple weeks, and even though I offered to pay him for his time, he refused. I did see an example of their repair work, and you could tell that the side of the boat had been damaged! If your boat needs fiberglass repairs, see Chip!

Shelby told us to get the RV towed in and he would take a quick look to see if he could determine our problem. He offered us a car while they checked on the motorhome so we could get something to eat. Upon returning Shelby located the problem, repaired the problem and we went on our way. I tried Carlson Small Engine because of the lack of negative reviews, he was more convenient than…read moresome places since he's in the middle of Caldwell, and since he was available and answered the phone or called back pretty quickly, and his hourly rate was more reasonable than most these days. And I love that's he a young entrepreneur, and he's doing a practical job to fix things with his hands to help support himself/ his family and help reduce waste in our disposable mindset culture. And when you talk to him, it becomes clear that he has a generally good attitude and is customer-service oriented. I also greatly appreciated that he was patient with the extra time it took me to take the info he gave me and research more, and ask more questions, etc., to make sure I felt comfortable with the work that would be done, and the end price of $120ish was pretty reasonable, in my opinion, to repair a 10-year old Briggs and Stratton mower engine that had started leaking oil profusely when running and hot. I and my children have now used it a few times to mow the yard and it's working great! it seems a little harder for me to pull the starter cord than it did before, but it could just be me, because the children didn't say anything about anything being challenging in any way. They zipped right through mowing like they usually do. He gave me a heads up that he was in the middle of working on a side by side or something when I dropped it off just before July 4, so it took him a few days to give me an initial estimate. Then it took days before I got back to him with the holiday and visiting my mom elsewhere and everything. once I felt comfortable and paid Sam for the invoice, which he sent electronically through email, it was only a few more days before he told me it was done. A few other places I called were booked out at least a couple weeks before I could even drop it off, and it got checked out and repaired while I was elsewhere, so I wasn't home to mow anyway. And other places' hourly shop rates were definitely more! The whole experience was MUCH better than throwing away an inexpensive and repairable mower and then buying a new mower for 3 or 4 times the price of what I paid for repairs or for that mower when it was new, especially when a new main gasket and new spark plug and sharpened blade breathed new life into my current (basic but reliable) Weed Eater brand mower (yes they made a mower back in the day lol!!!). I had just barely changed the air filter so that wasn't needed. Sam answered all my concerns and gave me time to research others' use or not of RTV on the gasket, explained how his invoicing and payment processes worked in advance, etc. and I got it back cleaner than it's looked in years lol. Overall positive experience and I'll definitely take that or another mower to him in the future for repair or maintenance!

Shortly after taking…read moredelivery of our new Arctic Fox Edge trailer we discovered two major issues: the refrigerator will not cool below 58 degrees (rendering it useless and unsafe for food storage) and the factory Arctic Fox rug has permanently stained the linoleum flooring due to a plasticizer migration defect. When we brought these issues to Happy Camper they immediately blamed Northwood Manufacturing. While Northwood did step up to approve the replacement linoleum material under warranty , they refused to cover the labor to install by our local dealer. Only way they would replace it is if the trailer was brought back to their factory. Happy Camper is claiming the trailer "didn't leave their lot like that." A plasticizer chemical stain takes over a week to form and bleed into the flooring proving this defect was brewing right on their lot. We bought a brand new premium trailer under a 1-year bumper-to bumper warranty to avoid these exact issues. Instead of honoring their warranty, Happy Camper and Northwood are playing the blame game, leaving us with spoiled food, stained flooring, and a broken promise. "Unacceptable service."
