IBIS Painting just finished painting the interior and exterior of our home. The project was perfect from start to finish. Tim Spencer, the owner was communicative throughout the project - from our initial call to quoting to scheduling to checking in. The crew led by Daniel are excellent craftsmen and meticulous painters. We saw great value in the price for the work that was done and the standard that it was done to. They showed up when they said they would, cleaned up each day, and made sure we were happy with the work. On the outside, they washed the house, caulked where it was needed, primed the house, and then applied 2 coats of paint. Each coat of paint was sprayed on and then each coat was rolled to make sure every inch was uniformly covered. On the interior, they painted every room, all of the closets, doors, frames, window sills and floor molding. Tim suggested leaving the ceiling alone as it was just fine - I appreciate that he saved us some money without compromising the work and the outcome. We are thrilled with the work and the results. I wish I could give more than 5 stars!! We are selling our home and have showings/open houses all the time, so we needed a painter who could get in an out quickly and get us on the schedule asap! Not only were we able to get on their schedule within a few days on short-notice, but the speed did not match the quality! I swear I cannot even see where our original color begins and the touch ups start. The painter was professional, had the pictures of where I wanted painted and we did a walkthrough to confirm prior to him starting. He not only did everything I had asked for, he went above and beyond painting places that needed it (that I didn't even know did)! He was super prompt, even coming early one day, was very clean, and neat when he had to move things out of the way to paint certain areas. We have already told them we are booking them again to paint our new build, to paint over the bad quality paint that all new builds have. Tim and his crew are exceptional! From the minute I was referred to them, Tim came right out and on the same day got me an estimate. He explained everything and his crew was there early and on time and worked very hard all day long. I was able to communicate with Cesar any questions or concerns I had. Stuart did an amazing job power washing the house prior to the painting. The prep work, covering and taping off windows, screens, pavers, etc was outstanding. Tim did a final walk through inspection with me and took pictures of any of my concerns. The crew came back and quickly and efficiently took care of anything and ever on the punch list. I would give the crew a 10! They are all very conscientious and extremely hard-working individuals that do an excellent job. Tim and his crew did great job with our home and communication was excellent. I bought my home in Jax while being stationed 2500 miles away in San Diego. I hired Tim because I needed someone who was going to a good job and also someone I could trust to have access to my home while I was not there. After meeting with Tim I got a good feeling that he was perfect for the job. I'm happy I went with him. He did a great job on some minor wall repairs and with painting my entire house. When I got back in town and saw the finished product there was a couple things that I would have like done but I failed to communicate that to Tim ahead of time. When I called him, he sent a crew over 3 days later to take care of everything. It's hard to find people that stand by their work and actually take into account the customers thoughts. Tim did that. We recently moved to a condo built in the 80's and our biggest challenge was finding someone to work on our cathedral ceilings, which required significant patching. We received several ridiculous quotes from local painters who didn't want to deal with the extra work. Tim Spencer gave us a reasonable quote that included all of the patching and high quality paint and materials. His crew even removed a floor-to-ceiling mirror wall in our dining room. Last minute requests (like removing old call boxes, medicine cabinets and whole-house vacuum hook-ups) were easily accommodated. I can't rate Ibis Painting high enough!! 10 would be better! They just painted the entire interior of our house. They filled holes in the walls and they even stippled them so that they match the texture of the wall. They were so incredibly careful with taping that the job looks amazing.
