The practice is located in one of the office buildings directly adjacent to St. Francis Hospital on Indy's southside right on the Indianapolis/Greenwood line. The multi-level building is easily accessible, though as I recall it did not offer the valet services common to Franciscan. There's a load/unload area as parking in the Franciscan parking lot is pretty much a nightmare, though the parking lot is well lit and I've always felt safe there. The doors to the building are power doors, though the doors to the practice located on the fourth floor are not (as is usual for medical offices). I found the door a little heavy, but mostly workable. The practice recently located to this space on the fourth floor of the building. From what I understand, the goal was to expand and better serve. In other words, this was an upgrade from the previous setting. However, as a new patient of Dr. Webb's I had no experience with the old setting. I arrived in the waiting room early - as I'd not yet been released to work, I'd gotten a ride and wanted to make sure I'd arrived on time. We checked in and were seated in the waiting room. If there's a physical weakness to the practice, it's that the waiting room is dreadfully inaccessible. I mean seriously. There's basically one or two spots you can sit if you're in a wheelchair and I could not wheel through the aisles to get out of the way of the door. This could easily be made accessible, but they're not there yet. As people started to arrive, it definitely felt small. I will admit I kind of wondered how this could possibly be an upgrade. Our call back was close to on time - the nurse did the usual check-in activities. She was professional, though you can always tell a difference in the personality of surgeons' offices versus other specialties. I think they like to feel like it's "professional," but it definitely lacks a personal feeling. I was taken into a small exam room - barely room for a wheelchair to turn around. There were no lower tables or anything that would allow for exam. This was especially weird in my case since I'd had an amputation and would have had difficulty transferring if needed. The doctor examined me in my chair and took out the stitches. It is worth noting that five stitches were actually missed - which could be a big deal and would have been avoidable with decent exam equipment. The exam was quick, though I covered most of that in my physician review. As healing was largely positive, I did not require a second appointment but would, of course, follow-up if further complications would arise. My visit to Vascular Surgeons of Indianapolis was perfectly fine. It accomplished the task, but I couldn't help but feel like greater attention to accessibility would be helpful - in both the waiting room and exam room. As I was certainly not in every exam room, I can't speak to whether or not a better option is available - just what I was offered. I appreciated that billing was prompt and accurate. As someone facing a lot of bills due to a recent amputation, prompt processing has allowed me to maintain a clear picture of my responsibilities. I had no issues with the financial aspects of this visit.

Entering the building, there are plenty of handicap accessible doors. We were greeted by the staff immediately. My friend was called to get paperwork done. Ms. Sharon was so beautiful, and patient. Such a beautiful spirited woman. I feel thankful to have had her. Ms Sharon was so informative, and let me know there was a coffee/tea station close by. Check in only took 10 minutes! They text your phone for family updates, talk about "High tech!" The best part is that, Indianapolis is way more advanced than Las Vegas, in my opinion! Definitely MORE FRIENDLIER! I had the total pleasure to have a "LONG" conversation worh a beautiful older lady, waiting on her loved one. She is 85 years old, and she told me that at least 3 times. Bless her soul. It has its own cafe, but if you want to eat warm food. You will need to walk over to Community Hospital North to their cafteria. My big brother had been seeing Dr Jon Janson, who is a general surgeon for about 6 months now. We finally decided to do surgery to remove a large mass. This is in addition to removal of his spleen. This was a nerve wrecking and daunting experience . As someone working in the number one trauma center in California. I researched and consulted with two hospitals and several specialists before allowing my brother to complete this surgery. As the over protective sister, I came from California to ensure the surgery and recovering was done to my satisfaction. We are so lucky to have met Dr Janson. He was extremely capable, compassionate, skillful, professional and is a great communicator. He not ony made me comfortable in allowing him to cut my brother, but he was empathic toward my ever long list of questions. He was confident in his skills and it made us all more comfortable. The surgery was done on the first floor. You will check in at the front desk. They will provide a pager,which the famiy member will keep. The pager will allow hospital staff to reach you. It will remain with you until the surgery is over. Once the surgery is done, you are paged again. They will put you in a room, which Dr Janson, took time to explain surgery procedure and outcome. He also provided pictures of the mass he removed. He also educated me about my brother's recovery needs. Later on, my brother was moved to the second floor to be observed overnight. The nursing staff were extremely caring, helpful and sweet toward myself and my brother. I really appreciated the exceptional care my brother received from the surgery center. Special shout out to nursing staff: Michelle, Lisa, Alison and Nancy Dr Janson not only checked on my brother about 2-3 hours after the surgerey. He came early the next morning to check his wounds again. He provided their 24/hour line to call upon discharge. Talk about awesome customer service. I did actually called few days later with some questions, ex : my brother symptons, pain and fever. I was lucky enough to received a call back from Dr Vincent Delumpa. He was more than professional and reassuring. He was also the other awesome surgeon in the operating room for my brother. I just want to take the time to thank everyone at the Surgery center for a job well done. Thank you for keeping my brother safe and well taken care of. I highly recommend this group of extraordinary staff for your surgerical needs!

There are many doctors located here at this IU Health Network Clinic including a Pediatrics…read moresection. They have a blood draw lab as well as a full X-ray unit. There could be more services available here that I am not aware of, in fact I'm pretty sure there are, but I know the Labs and X-ray areas do exist. The suites used to be labeled A, B and C with separate waiting areas but due to Covid they have remodeled their large waiting area by taking down walls and doors and opening it up to spread folks out. I think it works a lot better now. I have been seeing Dr Christian for 2 years now and he a great Primary Care Physician. He knows a lot of specialists within the IU Health system for referrals. His particular section also serves other doctors so there seems to be plenty of nurses and assistants anytime I visit this office. There is always adequate parking available in the front of the building. If you go here, you now check in with the women behind the plexiglass on the left side as you enter the building. I have tried to call and never gotten through to my doctor for weeks. They use phreesia check in system and I always feel the devices are dirty. Discussions for patient check are not personal nor friendly. The receptionist is curt with patients as she tells the to stand in line. The waiting room his clean and remodeled. There is a slim selection of magazines and no television or music. And I just got yelled at for not returning my phreesia. Yikes!! It is a good thing I love my doctor or I would never come here. They have online checkin that circumvents much of the checkin.

Our son's adenoid removal surgery and mole biopsy landed us here. The hospital itself is full of natural light and plants, giving off a peaceful tone. All of the staff we encountered in the pediatric surgery unit were super sweet and total professionals at navigating a kiddo surgery. I was anxious going into it all not knowing how our four year old would react but they immediately put my mind at ease with all of their childcare specialists and extra bells and whistles (stickers, car "ride" to drive back to surgery, etc).

While IU Health is not my tier 1 provider with my insurance, it's in-network. When it came up that I would require another surgery to address an ongoing issue, I began exploring IU Health North in Carmel in the hope that I would find a smaller, more personal care setting without compromising the quality of care I need as a complex patient. I was told to arrive at 8am for a 10am surgery. Registration is on the first floor adjacent to the information booth. The surgery suite is on the second floor. From surgery, I would go to recovery (of course) and then be kept overnight. Parking is free at IU North (NOTE: While I realize it's a bit of a stereotype, I'm not quite sure why the wealthier Hamilton County hospital offers free parking and the downtown Indy hospital does not, but I digress). While this is a bigger hospital than you might expect, I still consider it one of IU's satellites along with Avon, Saxony, Morgan and others. I arrived on time. Registration was simple via kiosk or with a person. Generally, the person is there to ask questions and direct. Once registered, I was sent up to surgery and the hosting area was almost immediately off the elevators. I checked in, got my arm band, and waited for my turn. I was taken back a bit early by a friendly technician. They got me settled in. Then the nurse and, of course, visits from anesthesiology and the physician doing my surgery. I'd informed the team up front of some trauma care needs. I was pleasantly surprised that this information had been clearly communicated and addressed. This doesn't always occur so thoroughly. I was grateful. I was in surgery on time. The surgery went well and I recovered quickly enough that I'm not sure I was even offered water in recovery. They had me on the floor fairly quickly. I got one nurse who was finally able to help me address an allergy inaccuracy. I was on the fourth floor. Interestingly enough, I was on the maternity ward (post partum). Apparently, they use part of the area for overflow. I was only in overnight, however, I didn't have a negative issue with nursing or techs. All were caring, compassionate, and for the most part attentive (I wasn't a high need patient, so it's hard to gauge attentiveness). The food? Definitely average. I took photos for three out of the four meals. The cafeteria downstairs is definitely better. I'm sure it's the same team, but I'd take this over Methodist most days - they get it to you more quickly, it's warmer, and those taking the order are simply friendlier. I figured IU North would be a little more high tech: 1) It's in Carmel and 2) It's a newer hospital having been built in 2005 with a cancer center addition in 2020. Most of the staff didn't seem to know much about the hospital, a weird deficit in terms of building a culture. Easy questions - like capacity and number of beds - were met with blank stares. It took forever for someone to figure out that there's a phone charger actually on the beds (it worked perfectly with my iPhone 16). I'd brought a charging cord believing that would be true, but could never figure it out. Finally, someone did. I was discharged as expected the next day. Discharge was a bit weird as it wasn't done by my nurse for the day. Instead, there was a virtual nurse (an actual person presenting virtually). Quite honestly, I hated it. It was impersonal and they clearly hadn't read my situation (for example, making comments about walking to a footless wheelchair user). I was also surprised no staff escorted me out. Yes, I had a ride. It still felt weird. I got my meds for home from an in-house pharmacy (Noting that I'd told them to send it to my pharmacy). While it wasn't preferred, it was convenient and it was delivered to my room so I could pay. The atmosphere here is calmer, cleaner, and aesthetically more pleasing. It's MUCH quieter. Instead of room bells buzzing, they have a silent system that greatly reduces the noise. Yes, it's still a hospital and hard to sleep. However, it's much improved. I also found the beds vastly superior to Methodist. Overall, I'd call this a good but not great experience. There are still some bugs to work out. However, the care was great - the procedure I needed was actually only okayed for this location recently. I was very pleased with the trauma-informed care and greatly appreciated the quality care for a generally basic but very necessary inpatient surgery.

This review is for the Cardiac Rehab Department at IU West Hospital in Avon on West 10th Street. It…read morewas suggested by my Pulmonologist at IU Hospital, (downtown Indy) that I participate in the Cardiac Rehab program but not as a cardiac patient since I didn't have diagnosed cardiac issues. They have a program similar to joining a gym. You pay a monthly fee ($28) under their Gym Program. You have flexible appointments, use of the equipment while having the safety of trained professionals only seconds away. You're not hooked up to the monitors but, if asked, they are happy to take your blood pressure and oxygen level. It is truly a safe zone for me and others. I started on the Gym Program but struggled on each appointment. During my second week the techs and nurses noticed the consistent issues I was experiencing. The Cardiac Tech, Jeremy, sent an update to my Pulmonologist suggesting I see a Cardiologist. 2 days later the Cardiologist's office called to schedule a tread mill in the Nuclear Medicine at the hospital. The very next day the Cardiologist called with the test results and scheduled me for the Cardiac Cath lab 2 days later. All this transpired within a 5 day period because the Tech's at Cardiac Rehab pay close attention to their patients. 4 blockages and 2 stints later I feel better everyday. I'm two months into my rehab and I hope to graduate in a few weeks. I am totally grateful as I realize they most likely saved my life, along with my Cardiologist and team. If you need a Cardiac Rehab program I highly recommend IU West Hospital on the Ground Floor. The area is cozy with a laid-back atmosphere and several muted T.V.'s and music playing. The staff consists of Megan, Aaron W., Aaron F. and Jeremy who are terrific at their jobs, friendly and keep a light, enjoyable atmosphere.

I suggest you try to park on the 2nd floor of the parking garage which connects to the bridge from the garage to the 2nd floor of the hospital. You need to go to the MDC check-in which is directly ahead on your left as you walk across the bridge. A person will be sitting at the entrance so you can sanitizes your hands, get a fresh mask and direct you to your appointment. Parking is reasonable with the first hour free or you can use valet parking for a flat $10 fee. The folks in the Diabetes Center are super friendly and the check in process is just handing them the paperwork you received from MDC and any forms you needed to complete. The Diabetes Center waiting area seating has been reduced due to the pandemic but it's never crowded. They are very punctual so your wait is brief. I see Dr. Zeb Saeed who is effective, extremely knowledgeable with diabetes/endocrinology, personable and very thorough without rushing through my appointments. I always feel like I'm her only patient which is a fabulous feeling while still staying within my allotted time. If you're looking for an Endocrinologist I can highly recommend the IU Diabetes Center at IU Hospital and Dr. Zeb Saeed.
