Today Mr. Alonso was helping at the entrance, and the kind of warmth and enthusiasm that he greeted me with, made me reflect on how every time I see this guy at work, he's putting in 100% focus, effort and care. He started helping cars drive into the washer correctly, and I was always impressed with how seriously he took he job. It contrasted the times I've seen some people in the past let their eyes stray elsewhere during the process, and it makes themselves seems less attentive. Alonso was 100% attentive today and always. I think Alonso is the kind of employee that really ought to be compensated more than fairly, but rather handsomely. Alonso mirrors his coworker Pablo, and they should be paid well to keep them happy and less susceptible to getting poached by local business owners looking to staff up with the best staff possible. I really appreciate Alonso and Pablo, because they've been around for so long and always giving it their all, but really I can also say much of the same about Joaquin, Juan jr and Dash. I don't see them as often but when I do I see a very high level of commitment and professionalism. They all really seem committed to their jobs, and it says a lot about the company. I can't imagine staff working so diligently for an employer that isn't compensating them competitively. And I think whoever does the staffing for LUV Topanga Cyn Blvd. and Reseda Blvd. locations needs a raise as well. They really know what they're doing. Yes, I am a very happy LUV Car wash subscriber, and I am a very satisfied customer: washer usually washes everything rarely misses, vacuums are strong, and blowers are equally powerful. I brought this up with them and the manager will refuse to provide their liability insurance or take responsibility. If you love your car, take it somewhere else or get it professionally detailed by a reputable mobile detail service. Horrible people running this car wash. Don't patronize them. They don't treat customers well and you'll have to drag them to small claims court to get repairs done. The gas station attendant told me to inspect the car immediately upon receiving keys back from the wash personnel. If you have a cheap car - bring it here! No prob. If you're like us locals with a stable of very nice cars, according to this business - you better take a good half hour and inspect everything inside and out on your car before you drive off with it. It turns out there was a mix up with the tickets and we were given a different wash than the one we had paid for. After speaking with the owner, he was incredibly kind, gracious, and genuinely wanted to make things right. He invited us to come back and try again, and I'm so glad we did. This time, we could not have had a better experience. This car is our kid and dog car, the one that handles school runs, errands, sticky fingers, crumbs, snacks, sand, and basically every questionable life choice that happens in a family car. It had been through the wringer. They cleaned it so well that it honestly looked detailed. And we did not pay for a detail. This was just their gold package, and it was amazing. The before and after is wild. It looked like a completely different car. I am also extremely picky when it comes to car washes. Like, character flaw level picky. I notice every tiny thing. If one area was wiped and another wasn't, if something is uneven, I usually leave every car wash with at least one thing to complain about because something always gets overlooked. This time, I had nothing. I could not be happier with how clean the car was. That says a lot coming from me.
