Great food excellent service awesome burgers ! Was with a large group all meals were excellent

We stopped in with a big family party including rambunctious kiddos and I was so impressed with how the staff handled our group. They took our orders quickly and didn't bat an eye at the kids running around (not mine!). Beer is dirt cheap. Burgers are good. Oh..and the fried onion rings are delicious. Yum! You can feel the local mirth and rosy cheeks up in here. This is a local favorite. And it's easy to see why. The place is huge and homey. Complete with slot machines and tvs of course. Great food. Great atmosphere! What a view! Had their prime rib... kind of overcooked, they replaced without hassle.

The prime rib sandwich is a good deal if you don't want to spring $30 for the prime rib meal. The meal looked good from what I could see. It's a nice atmosphere, except for the gambling machines, which reminds me of Montana bars. At least they keep them quiet. read more

Beautiful restaurant with friendly staff! Delicious food! Lots of games for the kids and machines to gamble on. Decent size place with a nice bar up front. And can see into the kitchen. Home of the "Thunderburger", which has to be one of the best hamburgers in northern Minnesota. Arrive hungry. The burger on the kid's menu is a 1/4 lb, and they get bigger from there. About a 40 minute drive from Detroit Lakes or Park Rapids, but you will be rewarded. Service was as good as the food. read more
