I have been going to rockys for quite a while periodically as I dont live in Minnesota. But if i did live here then this would be one of the most visited restaurants here. Also the soda machine flavor buttons actually work and they NEVER work at other places with it. Service was good and the decorative choices were pretty nice too. read more

We had a marvelous experience at Rocky's Pizza House on a snowy winter day. We got the deep dish pizza medium size - perfect for the two of us. We were thinking personal pan of our choice, but the waiter recommended a medium size half Hawaiian Special, half House Special and it was one of the best pizzas I can remember in a long time. We loved their sauce and I loved the spices in the sausage (House Special). Rocky's was highly recommended by a work colleague who grew up in this area as one of the best restaurants in Park Rapids. I could not agree more-great pizza and the service was excellent. Very convenient for us with only a two minute walk even in a snow storm from the Red Bridge Inn. read more

Here's how a taco pizza should be made: taco sauce for the sauce, then finely diced onions, ground beef, cheese, bake. Rocky's never disappoints! Staff is always friendly and professional. I loved it tonight that as I was ordering the dough maker walked up behind the cashier saw what I ordered and walked back over to flatten the dough for my pizzas while I was checking out. Pretty cool. Crust is yummy and bready. Sauce has just a small kick at the end plenty of cheese and plenty of creative options in the menu such as a Big Mac style pizza. I'm so done with this place. Pizza had numerous pieces that had little to no topping near the edges. I'm not paying 26 dollars for a pizza that is made this poorly and carelessly. Their prices are outrageous, they close the dining room at 6pm....how long can this place possibly stay in business?? Ordered the pizza tonight and went to pick it up and they were obviously not busy and had one couple eating inside. They literally have the worst business plan I have ever seen. If the owners read this, and I'm sure they wont because its obvious they do not car, but if they do, PLEASE sell your business to someone who actually cares about it. read more

Rocky's is a nice place, very clean and spacious. The people working there are very friendly and attentive. They serve up more than just pizza but I came for the pizza. We ordered a large house specialty pizza ( pepperoni,olives,peppers,mushrooms, sausage and onions). We ordered the hand tossed crust and it was cooked to the right doneness. The pizza has so much cheese on it you can barely see the topping. The pizza was very good and I would go back for another pie. I can't give 5 stars because when you pay with a credit card the screen list 4 options for a tip 15,20,25 % or no tip. I do not like that and I feel a bit pressured especially when no real service had yet been provided. I also thought their prices are a little high. read more

Went for dinner on a Wednesday evening. Place was empty but the carry out service was booming. Ordered a large pepperoni, the onion petals and cheese curds. I loved the onion petals, wife said the curds were good. Pizza was decent, definitely not the best or worst I've ever had. Extremely overpriced for what it is. read more

I love Rocky's because you never have to order extra cheese. They pack it on! Recently the sauce has changed and is now spicy hot, so much that I can't eat it. I'm sure for someone that likes spicy it would be great. They have a lunch special during the week where you can get a very generous sized slice for $3.00 If you eat here you might want to make sure you have cash or checkbook for a discount. Rocky's Pizza House made us raise our eyebrows three times in the the first five minutes of arriving. The front door has a sign stressing that you absolutely cannot bring other food in from other establishments. I understand where they are coming from, but to me I felt like I was walking into a very unwelcoming environment from the get go. What if someone has dietary restrictions and they are in a group for dinner? They can't bring in their subway or whatever it is because Rocky's doesn't want to support them by offering a chair and table while they sit with their large group who spent a fortune on their over priced pizza? Seems off putting and unnecessary. Secondly, if you use your credit card they charge $1.50 for a service fee. Is that even legal? We're not sure but we frowned upon it because like I already said, their pizza is overpriced glorified homemade pizza. It's good..but not worth the price they charge, so then to add more cost to it if you want to pay by credit card? Um no. Lastly, they weren't busy at all but somehow cleaning the upstairs seating area must not have been anyone's priority. The few times the workers came upstairs to deliver food to people I thought surely she'd clean up the mess from the four tables but sadly no, she ignored it each time. Get the taco pizza, most places screw this up but they've go it down. Cheese bread!!! Get it!!! If Guy did a pizza joint tour of america, he would find his way here for the bacon cheeseburger pizza. We are visiting our parents and they took us here for lunch. We got the noon special, a slice and a soda for $3.75. The pizza was great! Lots of cheese, tangy sauce (my mouth is watering thinking about it) and a crispy crust. The crust was very crispy on the bottom but the top of the crust was fluffy and chewy. Definitely recommended! After reading the reviews, I was not expecting much. However, their pizza exceeded our expectations. One of the best pizzas I've ever had!

They price there food as though it is high quality rich tasting best food you will ever have! I have had there pizza 3 times now and do not see what the big deal is, Casy's makes way better pizza! I can even make better pizza and for half the cost of what they charge! I would not mind paying over $20 for a large pizza that looks like a medium pizza, as long as its the best pizza I have ever tasted and makes me drooling for more, just thinking about it! The only way I would buy Rocky's food again, is if its more affordable then the way better tasting options in Park Rapids! Come on pizza hut has more flavor then Rocky's and Pizza Hut in Park Rapids is nasty also! Half the time I get food from Pizza hut its stale, but at least it has flavor other then cardboard! I saw that Rocky's was highly rated, so I thought I'd give it a shot. Wow. Far and away, one of the best thin crust pizzas I've ever had. Reminded me of my favorite thin crust from a place back home in Michigan, except Rocky's was a bit better. The crust was crispy, but had a thickness to it so that it stood up to the sauce, which was savory. It had a yeasty flavor which I always like in a crust. The waiter said he would give us our correct pizza to take home so we ate the mistake pissa. This place intrigued me the first time I went through town and we finally stopped yesterday to try it. We had the Italian pizza and macaroni and cheese bites. First of all we got the Mac n cheese bites for the littles and I had to try them. It was deep fried mac n cheese pockets. They were actually really good! They were very cheesy! Where to begin....extremely disappointed two medium pizzas and jolepeno poppers 49 dollars and change. WTF! How can this place justify these prices? I ordered a chili dog supreme and was expecting quality but what I got was Oscar Meyer hot dogs topped with hormel chili out of a can. The other Pizza my buddy got was virtually sauce less like eating meat on cardboard. On the upside the poppers were good....besides from the fact that you only get 6 for the price of your first born. Watch your credit card bill !!!! While the pizza was good it was hard to swallow the $1.50 credit card usage fee, but to top it off I get home and look at my receipt and the $27 pizza bill had a $32 tip added to it. I wanted the whole bill to be $32. I called thinking this would be an easy fix but the owner said the money had been given out and nothing would be done. It's sad to think they would not say something about that excessive a tip especially at a place you get your own pop and the only service rendered is brining you the pizza, nothing else. Not impressed with any of the times I've had Rocky's Pizza, which have been few and far between. I can only say the sauce had good flavor. Chewy and blah crust. Toppings have been fresh, but covered with a huge layer of tasteless white cheese. And I LOVE cheesy pizza. On top of that they don't seem to understand the basic concept of delivery: pizza is ordered, cooked to order, delivered to address and placed IN THE HANDS of the people who ordered it. If delivery person is confused, call the number provided by those ordering, especially when you say you will. Not just hand it off to whoever happens to be there. I guess when you pre-pay by card (tip included) they just don't care that much. read more
