Now I really fail to understand why Ice Cream Factory has three stars and Central Dairy has more than 4.4 stars, because I definitely had a better experience here at Ice Cream Factory than at Central Dairy. I got the strawberry keto ice cream, which was fantastic. It definitely had less sugar, the texture was amazing, and I was so happy that they had that option in the first place because not many ice cream shops have low sugar/keto/fat free cream options. Then my husband got a blueberry short cake ice cream, which tasted amazing as well, so definitely no regrets for trying this place out even though the rating were low. The shop was clean and the service was great as well. 5/5 stars for this, and if anyone is reading my review, please do not go by the overall star rating. Stopped here for what has become our daily ritual of getting ice cream every night after dinner. We're so shameless in the summer! The ice cream place is not particularly inviting looking--it's kind of like a clinic inside and it was a bit dirty, but OK. There were two young guys working, and one was very sweet while the other was a bit stiff. Our daughter got some crazy concoction with gummy worms on top so she was thrilled. We each got the gooey butter cake flavor with other ones that we have already completely forgotten, so they didn't make that much of an impression. But we really did like the gooey butter cake version--although it's not as good as the actual version that you can get at Schnucks!! Anyway, three stars, but as we said about the Grand Cafe, it was to be expected, so no hard feelings. We wish this business well. read more

New ice cream place a block from Central Dairy. The service waa good... plenty of folks in there to handle the rush. Had some interesting flavors different from the norm... Tiger King Premium for example. They handmade the qaffle conea and bowls right there in front of you. My bowl was still warm when I got it. My favorite is mint chocolate chip. The Extremw Mint was excellent... very minty. Thoroughly enjoyed my yummy ice cream I'd been craving for 2 weeks. Very helpful young staff to willing to go back through the line to help you decide before you get to the counter, settled on 3 pints and got them home in a paper bag, still frozen and creamy as ever! I now live in Florida but am from MO. So, I was really excited to order delivery. It's pricey but, I figured it was worth it. That was until I ordered.... I placed an order on May 31st. It arrived June 6. It was completely melted & a huge, sticky mess. I contacted Brianna who told me she processed a replacement. On 6/6 I have another order confirmation. Then, on 6/9 I received another confirmation email. I didn't think much of it but, I then received another email from them saying they shipped my order. That was 6/13. So it took a full week to reship my destroyed order. This was $60 for 6 small pints of ice cream. I received that replacement order on 6/16. They were slightly thawed but not bad. Sadly, I open the cups to see they are half full! I contacted them again because that's not acceptable. They said they'd get right back to me..... still no reply. Yet, I'm out $60 for less than 4 scoops of ice cream!?!? I guess I need to contact my credit card cause this is ridiculous. They might be great in town but, don't do the mail order. We tried the chocolate chip cookie dough and rocky road. Both were decent but nothing out of this world. Also we both got two different cones; the Oreo waffle cone and a regular waffle bowl. They were both just okay. The Oreo cone was a little too thick making it almost have a chewy consistency. Next time I'll get it without a cone. read more

Went here to get ice cream for the family. Ordered bowls for my 3 kids and pints for my wife and I. I wasn't offered anything to help me carry the 3 bowls that didn't have lids. By the time I got home (about 5 minutes), my pint of "ice cream" was COMPLETELY melted, as in, it was ALL liquid. Plus, compared to Central Dairy just a block away, the prices are higher for lower quality ice cream. read more

I ordered on the app and was told 20-30 minutes. That time was then pushed back almost an hour. They are also advertising "free delivery" on a pint for $12. But when looking at their app, a pint to go is $5.99. Not sure how that constitutes as being free delivery. Took awhile standing there watching the employees clump together and ignore us. Someone finally took our order. Not particularly friendly and most definitely not informative. I asked what they had besides vanilla that was JUST ICE CREAM, no stuff thrown in. "Well, we have vanilla...." And then something grotesque-sounding with bits of something in it. We gave in to 2 vanilla cones. She took the liberty of putting ours in the fancy, more expensive waffle cones (which were very good, btw). One scoop with nothing put down into the cone, just set on the top edge, empty cone below. Odd. The vanilla ice cream was excellent, but really, $3 for a scoop balanced on top of the cone. I'll try again when I see that they sell ICE CREAM and not random flavors with cake and candy and fruit which I can get anywhere. read more

I got the dairy free ice cream. It was not good at all. Dairy free doesn't mean water and sugar!!!
