In Long: Gosh, I have been going here since I was a kid, I used to live just down the street and would ride my bike over to buy baseball cards from the candy stand. The place is a time-capsule, same counters, tables, same dated signage, same uniforms. I hope they never change. The cheeseburgers here are my all-time favorite. I was a vegetarian for over 10 years, and I could still remember that tasty special sauce (it's probably just some sort of weak BBQ sauce) and the thin burger patties. Overpriced food for such small portions. Overcooked onion rings. $8.25 for a fish basket that contained 1 overcooked piece of fish some fries and a container of slaw mix with dressing on top .$4.25 for an order of mushrooms that consisted of 7 itty bitty pieces!!! What a rip off of my hard earned money. Hard to support small local owned businesses when you have to leave and drive to go get something edible. read more

I will never eat here again. Everything is waaaayyyyy too expensive and the food is not good. A double cheeseburger (by itself, mind you) is around $9. I chose to get the tenderloin and a turtle sundae ($9 for that. No drink. No other sides.) and the tenderloin was gross, and the "turtle" was nothing more than ice cream and chocolate topping.
