Ice was excellent, atmosphere excellent, and cleanest bathrooms I`ve ever seen in a public setting.

It also has skate rental, lockers, food & drink for purchase, and good seating. It's great for all from new skaters, becuase they provide safety walker for beginners. The night I went the dj was playing all of the cookout/old skool house party hits, it was cute. Plenty of space for photo opts. The event was a goodazztime!!!

Entry was free (unheard of in this day and age!) and skate rentals were only $20+tax. Believe me when I say the energy of all the skaters, employees and DJ were off the charts! Everyone was positive, enthusiastic, supportive and friendly! There were impromptu conga lines, electric slide dances and smiles aplenty. I must have skated for about 3 hours with only the occasional 3 minute break to catch my breath. In case you got hungry or thirsty, there were small mom n pop food and drink vendors by the entrance charging very reasonable prices. The best part was being amongst such talented skaters! I've only been skating three times now but I feel like I leveled up just by watching others here. If you're new to skating, rest assured that the community is as friendly as they are skilled! 5/5 beach skating event.. thank you RollerWave NYC!

There is a small room before entering the rink with a few tables to sit down at and put your skates on. It becomes very crowded at the end of public skating hours as everyone is in the same area and there aren't many seats so it may be easier to exit the rink a few minutes before the public skating hours end. There are also a few open cubbies to store your belongings in. You need to make an account online in order to use the rink which can be done beforehand or in person with the QR code at the front desk. The ice rink also offers classes for children and adults.

Upon visiting a friend, I was looking around for ice rinks as a place to hang out. And I found…read morethis one to have a more reasonable price point at $15 per skating session which includes skate rentals. The skating session is a bit tricky, it can range from 1.5 hours to 2.5 hours but you would always know in advance upon online signup. The public skating session is available for registration online. As with any skating place, the skates that everyone uses are no good, always good to invest in a pair, more comfortable and won't ruin the experience. It's one hockey size rink with no lockers. They have cubbies to put your shoes and might fit a really small bag. They have vending machines at reasonable prices. Parking lot has a lot of spaces but apparently it does fill up quick. The place is very very very very old, but that didn't matter to me because the rink is good and the ice is not bad, works for the purpose.

Not very smooth per the skaters coming off that were more advanced. The beginner coaches here are very friendly, per some of the other parents, otherwise kids are coming for the freestyle practice sessions ($25) - you can pay online or in-person (though that's slower). The two sheets are the American and Canadian ice sheets. The main lobby has some wooden benches for skaters to put on gear, but if you want a table to work as an adult, go upstairs to the "cafe-ish" and viewing areas over the rinks (which is nice). Need a few more outlets, but you can find a few to charge up your phones/laptops.

In addition to two full sized hockey rinks and skate rentals, it has a hockey and skate shop inside, and a lounge and snack bar upstairs known as Snackish. I love the hot chocolate with marshmallows, whipped cream, and chocolate syrup with some brown sugar pop-tarts to warm me up and satisfy my sweet tooth. Staff is friendly and there are plenty of tvs upstairs to watch whatever hockey game is on or other sporting event.
