I had to get my CPR/AED and First Aid certification renewed and took a course from this company through my work. I am beyond satisfied with my experience thanks to Dan! Dan was absolutely amazing and made the course fun and interesting, which was great because it took place Saturday 8am. He is knowledgeable, and has a ton of great stories and examples to share. He is patient and has no problems answering any questions, as well. The curriculum itself is informative and does a good job as a refresher. Some of the equipment is a little outdated compared to American Red Cross, but still effective. I am a teacher and my principal signed myself and three of my colleagues up at ICE Safety Solutions to renew our certification (in my case) or get certified. I came for a BLS course for healthcare providers which was from 6-9:30 PM. The place is nice and our instructor George Rojas was professional,informative and funny. He answered all our questions and quizzed us in between. There's an exam at the end requiring you to get 20/25 right. We paired up with partners (luckily the group had some fun people) and performed CPR on different mannequins along with AED. It definitely prepared me for the worse unfortunate events. I received this training as part of a group with my job. Our instructor was Steve Blagden. Steve is one of the best instructors I've ever had for training. I'm prior military and have had numerous training sessions on first aid, combat life saver and safety and I can say Steve is great at this job. He's informative, engaging, and very friendly. He combines previous stories from his history as a fire captain as well as his vast experience in the industry. I would highly recommend this class. After receiving this training almost 10 years after my military experience, I believe everyone should have this course. That was a good creative way to keep the class entertaining. They totally have the people skill and teaching skill to keep us engaged throughout. Training was from 9am-11:30 and 1pm to 4:30pm. I always dreaded my boss's yearly reminder that my CPR certification was going to expire. In all the years that I've taken CPR classes, not one was interesting at all. We read the book, took the test, did the dummy simulations, the end. However, that was not the case with ICE Safety Solutions. Pam came to do my whole department's recertification at Clubsport Fremont, and it was a blast! She has SO much energy, and got all 50ish of us engaged. I learned a lot more than just stuff from the America Red Cross book, and had fun doing it! She did a really great job making sure we understood the material, and we finished in a timely manner. This is the 5th time I've taken this class for my pediatric and first aid renewal. And it's always been great! The time goes by quickly, and is informative. You get to practice CPR on different size dummies, and role play emergency scenarios. It's educational and you learn something new every couple of years. Fremont is a little far for me, but I make the drive there because the class is great. No one wants to spend their Saturday in class every 2 years, but at least ICE Safety solutions make it a little less painful! read more

I'm a dummy and let my BLS lapse, so I had to take the full class. I was really preparing myself for 3+ hours of boredom in a class that I could teach. The verdict? Not that bad. It was low on the fluff, and high on hands on experience. If you're a first timer, I think you'll find it -dare I say- fun, informative, and useful. I've been to classes like this where the (usually) ex medic instructor tells war stories about "the field" and all of the info pertains to first responders (not in hospitals, clinics, ect like most of the class is comprised of)...
