I had one of the worst experiences I've ever had at this lounge last night. Without any real…read moreexplanation or attempt to de-escalate the situation, three security guards physically grabbed and dragged me out of the venue. It was completely unnecessary, aggressive, and honestly humiliating. During the incident one of the guards had his arm around my neck to the point where I couldn't breathe and my necklace was ripped off in the process. At no point did anyone try to calmly speak to me or explain what the issue was. Being handled by multiple security guards like that felt excessive and unprofessional, especially in a place that's supposed to be about having a good time. Instead of basic communication, the situation immediately escalated to physical force. I would strongly caution anyone thinking about going here. A night out shouldn't end with you being physically dragged out by security with no explanation. There are plenty of lounges in the city that treat their guests with far more respect.

The DJ is for the most part always good, playing top 40 hits, Hip Hop, Trap, Dembow, Bachata, Reggae, Reggaeton. People will absolutely be dancing here. Now, things to keep in mind: 1. This is not a classy venue. You are sure to run into drunken folks every weekend. It gets VERY crowded. This place is not for the "bougie" or "fancy" folks. If you're not into rowdiness, this isn't the place for you. 2. NO ALCOHOL is sold here. Just water/cold beverages. 3. Keep an open mind, this place is perfect for the group of friends who isn't ready to call it a night at 2 am. So drink the last of your drinks at whatever bar or club you're at and head to Babylon to dance all the drinks out of your system. Dress code isn't a big deal, whether you're in your sexiest club dress or jeans and a top, what matters is the vibes you bring in here.

I had grabbed some DBL box pressed cigars and the fat tall white dude in the full brimmed hat that was working, came up and took them out of my hand and started ringing them up, I told him I was still going to grab more and he rolled his eyes and walked off. One of the guys had an alarm go off on his cell phone and turned it off within 5 seconds the guy walks up with a look of annoyance and angrily says, "is someone's phone alarm going off?" "Uh yeah mine was, I turned it off..." the dude says. The fat white dude working says "there is alot of chaos over here..." while motioning with his hands, "lots of noise!" The dude says "I turned my phone off." "Thank you" the worker says sternly and walks away. So I keep having our conversation and I look at the register, the guy working keeps motioning for me to hurry up. So I say, "I'm still getting more cigars man." He literally rolls his eyes slaps both of his hands off the counter, lets out a huge sigh and walks into the back. He looks up at me, doesn't say a thing then starts to cut the cigars, but he doesn't just cut them he angrily cuts them with so much force he grunts and tosses them back onto the counter. So I say "you alright man?" He sighs a huge sigh again grits his teeth and starts to tell me that the refrigerator is broken, Yada Yada Yada. Anyways, the guy is a effing prick, he treated me like I was taking up his time, I was only in there for like 10 minutes and spent over $100 on cigars... he took them out of my hands when I wasn't done looking, cut them like he wanted to kill them and gave me so much fuckin attitude. If you get Dean, you'll be super happy, but the tall fat white dude is a complete @$$hole. It sucks because I really like this place, but that dude cannot control his emotions, maybe he didn't like me, I don't know. Do a limited seating where you have access to a table but if you're OK with putting your laptop in your lap are sitting at the bar there's about four seat. They do have a domino table I think is amazing. I could definitely see myself in there having a drink price of dominoes smoking a cigar. Definitely if you're in the area a place I would check out.
