So after years of presenting my husband with an angel food cake that made angels cry in anguish and fall from the sky in horror, I contacted John on short notice to have him make it for me. I was SO excited because it came out looking perfect with baby blue frosting and tons of sprinkles. Unfortunately, life happened and we couldn't do my husband's birthday the night I picked it up. I put it in my cake container & in the fridge for the next night. Life happened again, no time to stop and sing happy birthday. And again the next night, too busy. We FINALLY got to eat the cake 5 nights later and I was SO worried it wouldn't be good anymore. It was delicious!!! My husband loved it and we got a huge kick out of me finally giving up on making the cake myself. I will be passing John's name around anytime someone asks for a baker in town!

When you first walk in, there's a lot of Colorado memorabilia and the customer service was amazing. Everything is made to order so you do have to be a little bit patient if there's a crowd....trust me it is worth the wait! I got a traditional snow cone with grape, cherry and lemon lime flavoring (it was so delicious) My daughter got a snow cone filled with ice cream (I believe hers was the strawberry cheese cake flavor) My son-in-law got his covered in the condensed milk... there was a special term used for that.
