Love grabbing breakfast here. But lately they have expanded and have a nice quaint patio. Licensed for a pint. Well done

The patio provides lots of shade. Our food was amazing! Such a variety of options to choose from. And beautifully presented. The service was top notch! FYI. The carrot cake is the best I have ever had. I can't wait to go back!!

Original review - The management and servers are downright offensive. They speak rudely as if you are wasting their time when you ask for the wifi password. The blonde waitress said, "I don't have time for that right now" to the wifi request, and came back after 10min to give the password, saying, "you ready? Password is 1234". Really, a 10 min wait for 1 sec thing! They don't respect people. What a joke of an establishment! Honestly, they lack humanity and common decency. Even that rob guy at the front shows zero hospitality. These are signs of a place on its way going under. I wish I could at least say that the food was good, but nothing can save them. Edits - I left out in original review that Rob at the front did not provide any greeting. Instead he asked, "what do you want?". Then pointed at a high top saying, "go sit there". This is not how you treat a human being. They absolutely disregard you as a person. If you have depression, anxiety or autism, be warned because things like these can drive vulnerable people to suicide.

Having been back here close to a dozen times over the last decade, I can firmly say this place is the perfect combination of gastro-ingenuity and traditional staples done right. The vibe is "industrial chic," which is essentially code for "I'm feeling something fancy, but still want to be able to visit in my Kirkland shorts." The food has a heavy focus on local ingredients, with flavors that are incredibly tight and well-balanced. The steak frites are so tender I'm pretty sure they were cut with a polite suggestion rather than a knife. The scallops are meaty and perfectly cooked. And of course the burger is absolutely mouthwatering and make it the tempting default option during each visit. The appetizers are all fantastic, Kat and the Korean cauliflower takes the cake! For desert, their house cheesecake is phenomenal, and their in house amber ale is full and flavourful. Our server was on the ball; the water was never empty, and the check ins were always at the right time. Verdict: 10/10. If you want western food with a fun twist and high quality ingredients, this is one spot you must check out!

Entry is a single door with a ramp on the inside. Servers were quick to seat my friend and I. Service was polite and timely. We both ordered our own "Teenage Feast" which included Two eggs prepared to your taste, thick cut bacon, sausage, choice of toast, served with dutch mini pancakes, butter parsley home fries / salad or half & half. I opted for scrambled eggs, home fries, and rye (they also had sourdough as an option!) The meal was very filling, could definitely be shared between two peckish people or saved as left overs for later. Meal has a blend of sweet and savoury, leaning more on the sweet side. The sausage is sweeter than others (I enjoy this but I know it's not for everyone. The Dutch pancakes are so cute and little, coated in icing sugar, and served with maple syrup on the side to dip. For drinks I ordered the Maple Foam Cold Brew. Make sure to stir/not put your straw at the bottom of the drink or you'll get a hit of maple! Once it's stirred it tastes great. I'll definitely be back to try more of the menu (I'm eyeing the coffee flights)!

Nonetheless, they do have a few sandwich options and are open at lunchtime as well. I went back to back days. Day one was the smash burger and I got 50/50 with salad and curly fries which is a nice option. The next day I did the Nashville fried chicken sandwich with the same sides. Everything was very fresh and tasted very good. Both sandwiches perhaps were missing a bit of an X factor that would have me telling people it's an absolute must visit. For example, the smashburger probably could've been a bit more savoury (even greasier) to be a true smashburger, and the Nashville chicken spice level was pretty mild. All that said, it was made fresh and very tasty too, so I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to anyone either. And like I said, I didn't even try the breakfast items which is the main part of the restaurant anyway.
