They had a holiday bar that was secluded yet super cute. The service was pretty good, didn't take too long for someone to greet us. The food was soso - I ordered an egg Benedict with Canadian bacon & a mimosa. It might be the American in me but the bacon seemed undercooked and the potatoes barely seasoned. A hidden gem! The many times I have gone to Niagara and never discovered this place boggles my mind. Everything is just so wonderful about this place. A lot of pretty Christmas decor as the restaurant is located inside the Old Stone Inn. Very quiet and unlike the other tourist spots. Reservations can be made online and easily can access the menu as well. I ordered their Avocado Toast, mimosa and a latte. Everything from the service to quality of the food is immaculate. Very fresh ingredients and their sourdough is made in house. I definitely was impressed at how attentive the server was and overall very welcoming. They had a great selection of offerings as some of us wanted breakfast and others wanted lunch. The service was attentive and very patient with our little munchkins in tow. All the portions were plentiful and we happily shared our individual entrees with each other. The million dollar bacon tree was probably the highlight. A display of crispy candied maple bacon hanging from individual metal clips. The bacon itself was saturated with the maple flavor and didn't really need the accompanying bourbon maple dip. There are two rooms one is pictured below and is set in a kind of Victorian style with antique chairs and decor, the second not pictured is very bright with (fake) cherry blossom trees as part of the decoration. The service was good, no complaints there The food unfortunately was a confusing experience. Some parts of it were incredibly delicious and others were seriously bad. The pastries, bread, preserves, potatoes, and other sides were very very good! The meat was once of the worsts I've ever had! The bacon was extremely hard and lacked any type of flavor, the sausage was very dry and the beans were under cooked. I love brunch, and Flour Mill scratched that itch of mine when I was in Niagara Falls for a mini getaway. Mostly everyone in our group got a hearty Country Mill Breakfast, which was an ample amount of traditional breakfast foods like eggs, bacon, sausage etc. I ordered their char salad, which was delicious and satisfying even though it's a salad! I was worried it might be too saucy or not filling, but it was perfect with a light dressing. I had a few bites and discovered the salad was missing halloumi that was on the ingredients list. No worries, the server rectified it and added it to the salad after I inquired. The salad may not be such a popular dish, since there are so many other great options. My gf and I made a visit to this cozy resto on a saturday, during a weekend getaway trip to niagara falls. It was about a 10-15 min walk from our hotel and had very high ratings on yelp, tripadvisor and google. The resto itself is located inside the Old Stone Inn which is a hotel. We arrived around noon-ish and walked up to the fine young man at the host desk who seated us promptly. I'm guessing because we arrived during the offseason there wasn't that much of a wait because reading some of these other reviews it seems like it's notoriously hard to get a table without a reservation. Not the case in our experience. We were sat in the main room near the fireplace. That's when my gf noticed the brightly lit side room with all these cute christmas decorations and told me she wanted to sit by the bay window with some nice sunlight. When I asked our portly, older gentleman of a server if we could move into the side room he gave us a thumbs up and kindly moved all of our cutlery for us. My gf and I settled for the french toast brule and the mill country skillet. I was very happy with the quality of the food. The french toast looked like it had 3 star michelin plating and the toast was the proper, thick cut, brioche kind. The skillet had a lot of components to it but the potatoes were cooked perfectly (crispy on the outside and tender on the inside). I liked that it came with caramelized onions and homemade sausage. That was a nice finish. We also ordered some french press which came out WITH the press for us to press ourselves. The quality of the coffee was actually superb. Idk who their supplier is but excellent quality beans haha. Service absolutely impeccable. The waiter always checked on us. Brought over extra whipped butter and jam when we asked for it and was always an arm raise away. I came out of lunch/brunch super satisfied and my gf was very happy as well. This resto is literally like the perfect brunch spot for anyone visiting niagara falls. The homey vibe, cozy decor and amazing food are all enticing me to return in the future! read more

This was such a great find!! First, the ambience was like none other... we were seated near the window where cherry blossom trees adorned the walls. The center pieces were dried hydrangea... so pretty. The food was superb! Highly recommend the blueberry cornbread... so good! We each ordered a different dish and shared. The French toast was so good we didn't even get a photo (dug in too fast!). My favorite was the veggie Benedict with smashed avocado... it was on a home baked scone (Canadian scones are like flaky biscuits - not the hard sweet scones in US) and was drool-worthy. We just finished our 25th anniversary dinner at Flour Mills Scratch Kitchen. First of all callout to Liv. She was very friendly, attentive and a pleasure to have around. We had the Polpette as appetizer, the meatballs were tender and the sauce delicious. I enjoyed the Iberico Pork Chop cooked to perfections the sauce complementing the juicy meat. My wife had the whole fish. Make sure you know how to eat whole fish or you get to much work with the bones. Tasted very good though. We'd come back if we return in the future. Oh yes. On Thursday, December 19, myself and five friends came to the Old Stone Inn for the seasonal "Jingle Bar." We were told they did not take reservations so we expected to wait. After waiting a while the hostess offered to seat us in the separate restaurant to order drinks to wait for our table in the bar area. We sat at the table for 45 minutes before a server greeted us. She forgot to bring over menus, returned with them, and never came back to us. We never even got water. After an hour we checked back in with the hostess, she informed us that our table was ready, however, another party of six seated themselves. They said they could not make that party move and we had to wait for the next available table. The manager offered to seat and serve us in the lobby of the Inn. We chose to not accept his offer because the lobby area was not suitable for dining. It was full of other patrons waiting for the tables. We were seated after another 30 minutes at a high table with 4 high chairs and 2 short chairs. Two people in my party never got their drinks. They were offered their drinks after we got our bill. I am not sure if it was because we were younger girls in our 20s, but we were not attended to as the other guests of the restaurant were. This was a very disappointing experience, we drove from Buffalo for this holiday bar. I would not recommend coming to this establishment. The place was decorated beautifully, however, it was not worth the experience. read more
