I went back today for a second visit. I worked with Monika who was great. She is very knowledgeable and appears to enjoy cryotherapy herself. It was not easy but I told her about my 2 star review and told her it's solely due to the bathrobes being soiled. First cryo therapy session on Saturday was amazing. I had no clue what to expect so I went in without expectations...which was helpful. Monika was sure to explain the benefits and details so I was uber informed about the process. She's amazing! What a crazy awesome experience. Normally, I don't do well with cold so I wondered how I would handle it. Monika kept me talking so I wouldn't notice my body temp dropping. Right about the time I was ready to tap out and say "let's stop at 2 minutes..." she smiled and said "You're already at 2:10. Great job!" I made it to 2 minutes and 30 seconds. Wooo hooo!! Immediate result- my resting pulse dropped by about 10 which was helpful after being amped up from teaching an event that morning. I also worked very late that night and would normally be exhausted. I was recommended to try out this place (and cryotherapy) by a friend so I decided to try it out. I should also mention that I am naturally a skeptical person and spent a decent amount of time researching the benefits of cryotherapy to make sure it wasn't one of those "get healthy quick" schemes and to my findings, it is actually legit and commonly used in the sports industry). Monica, the owner, is so delightful and Shaunee, her staff member, as so knowledgeable and friendly about the process! It's unlike anything I've ever tried so Shaunee was able to walk me through it step by step. I won't lie and say it was easy my first time, but I will admit that I felt the immediate physical benefit. Its also a huge plus on these super hot days. I would recommend purchasing a package deal since the value is way better the more you purchase. Everyone there (staff and other clients) are always so friendly.
