I have never done indoor cycling the way MOXI3 had offered. I had taken a class via ClassPass at first and then fell in love. Despite a 40minute drive from my home, I have made my way out to Costa Mesa to make sure I am able to attend the classes. After ClassPass, I had done the new member $30 for 3 classes and had an amazing time. When I called ahead because I was going to be late due to unforeseen traffic, the staff was kind enough to do a grace cancel despite calling only an hour ahead. I have done 4 classes so far and I will be sure to come back!!! The instructors and vibes are crazy good and I love this spot! read more

*Great instructors, kind front desk, clean facility with lots of various activities going on *Seems to be a lot of ants in the cycle waiting room area as there are ants on the indoor benches and they get on my duffel bag every time *My major complaint is that idk who dropped the ball here but I called a week ago on Thursday immediately after I left bc I forgot my yellow jacket in a cubby and they said they would look for it. I called a second time the next day on Friday to follow up and they said they'd found it and put it in the lost and found bin and that I could pick it up the next time I came in. I live 30 minutes away so I wasn't able to come in until six days later (today) and it wasn't in the lost and found bin and they said it might've been donated. You would think that calling twice and having my name and number connected to that item would be enough to prevent it being donated not even a week later. I know I'm a ClassPass client but I claimed my item and clearly had intentions to retrieve it if I called twice right after the class and it's pretty upsetting that I was reassured it would be there and then it wasn't. If staff wasn't sure if I'd come back for it, a pickup time could've been coordinated. I know studios are technically not responsible for lost or stolen items and it's not even expensive but it's the principle of how it shouldn't have happened in a small gym and how it could've been easily communicated between staff or with me bc if I'd known they'd do this I would've made the 30 minute drive for it. I actually booked a class tonight just to pick up that jacket bc I normally cycle elsewhere. Now I'm just hoping for a callback on the unlikely chance they locate my property and that means I'll have to drive down yet again and that's IF they didn't give it away without my consent. There needs to be some kind of replacement or financial compensation for this bc this is truly unacceptable. I'm sorry to leave a bad review on a small business that has been otherwise pleasant but this was poorly handled af, that was my favorite jacket so yes it's dumb but this ruined my night and was upsetting so unless the situation is somehow rectified by returning my belongings or compensating the loss caused by the mishandling of this situation I'm going to remain unhappy with my overall experience and leave this review up. I've been to a lot of other studios in the area and they've NEVER lost or donated anything I've forgotten so this feels incredibly shady and careless towards clientele and made me lose all trust and interest in the business read more

I love MOXI3. After 20 classes (mostly strength & cardio) in 2 weeks as a new member, my tummy & waist shrank smaller *__* My arms and my legs are toned. I can fit in crop tops or tight tops I bought in 2021-2022 and fit in dresses tailored in 2017-2018 Yayyy :) I told all of my friends about how good Moxi3 is. Moxi3 has cycling, heated sculpt classes and nice showers. I purchased credits to come back Moxi3. My favorite instructors are James, Bobby (Robert) & Joe. This is one of the best gyms in Orange County. Their training is so dialed in. I appreciate that they split strength and cardio (shred class), which you still get a little of the other in each, the structures and the workouts are super dialed in. They prioritize cleanliness and good and consistently working high quality equipment (which is a very big sticking point for me). This place is amazing. It's like a one-stop shop gym. You have your cardio/endurance class Shred, you've got Strength class to build muscle, and you've got Cycle to get your spin on. I personally like Justin, Amanda, Jac and Robert. But I'm sure all the coaches are awesome and supportive. I've tried all class types there including Shred, Strength Training and Cycle. I had been to MOXI3 for 3 years. I used both ClassPass and credits. I used ClassPass when I had extra and needed to bring it down to minimum. I did both spin, and other weight class. Sometimes I went in my bike and it would be given to a different person or given to a couple. A lot of times, I could change back. But sometimes the people already sat in so can't ask them to move. When I complained, I would get oh sorry u r ClassPass or oh next time come early. At least don't put me in a front row where I am uncomfortable. At least respect people. So if you are ClassPass, don't use MOXI3. A lot of times I feel like maybe I am Asian that why I got treated like this. This happened to me on both using moxi3 credit and ClassPass. read more

Moxi3 is no newcomer to the world of OC fitness. Many of the instructor's at Moxi3 originate from other surrounding boutique studios which helps to build a strong sense of community as many of the members have been working out with them for a decade+ at this point. The studio is all encompassing of Cycle, Strength, Shred, and Restore. Essentially you have your indoor cycling, interval HIIT workouts that vary between intensities, and they also offer Cryotherapy, Infrared Sauna, Red Light Therapy, and Normatec Compression. They also have locker rooms that are well stocked with necessities and offer towels and showers. They truly are a one stop shop, their studio is always well kept, clean, modern, and functional. The only anomalies being that the parking lot is small and tricky (it's Costa Mesa however so, locals will already expect this), if you can't find immediate parking within the parking lot, you can usually find street parking within reasonable walking distance as the studio is at the end of a residential neighborhood. Also, there is minimal "touchdown space" where members can hang out pre or post classes. There is a minimal area in front of the cycling room however, this is where folks get to their cubbies, change out their shoes, so not an ideal spot for groups of folks to just hang out. You'll notice most members opt to congregate in the parking lot, there's also a mother's market right down the street where a lot of us like to go for a post workout smoothie and you can find Triangle Square right down the street as well with dining options. If you're looking for your next "fitness family" to become a part of, definitely give Moxi3 a try. They usually offer a first class free so that you can get a sense of the studio and they will also go over all their pricing options with you thoroughly. read more

Moxi3 is located in Costa Mesa. Heads up parking is TOUGH so if you go at prime time hours expect to battle it out. Front desk staff is very kind. For newbies it can be confusing as you see two entrances but be sure to check in on the left side with the front desk team. The restore offerings at this gym is what caught my eye. I love how they have a cold plunge, infrared sauna, red light therapy and normatec compression. It's pretty dreamy and great for people who need a reset with a sore body from workouts. I like how they offer restore only memberships if you want to forego the gym aspect. The only ding is that registering for some restore options can be a challenge. The sauna seems to always be booked which was a deterring factor for me. Otherwise, all the areas are clean and it's nice you have a private room. The gym offerings are pretty ample here. It's fantastic that they cater to everything from offering cycle classes, strength classes, mobility and shred. It's pretty hard not to find something that will not be up your alley. This is one of the only boutique gyms that have a 5pm class on the weekend for cycling which I give them kudos. I love a good spin class and enjoyed my first spin ride with Beth. Her energy was unmatched! I recommend checking their website for promotional deals. I did $100 for a two week unlimited and it really gave me a feel for how the gym operates and the community.
