Disappointing and won't be returning. I recently visited Iceland in Arlington, TX after driving 30 minutes out of my way. I used to enjoy coming here, but this time was a complete letdown. I ordered their largest size (called "regular") and was shocked to get only two maraschino cherries as a topping. That's it. For the largest size cup! I asked if I could have more, and the young woman behind the counter said she could give me one more. Seriously? It was frustrating. Eventually, she offered two or three more, but by then the vibe had already gone sour. I asked if the place had changed owners, trying to understand why the portions had gotten so small. She said yes, about a year or two ago. But that didn't make sense, because I had been there just three months ago, and the experience was much better. That means the ownership didn't recently change--it's either these people just being stingy and cheap, or the owners slowly started cutting corners. Either way, the difference is obvious, and not in a good way. To make it worse, my daughter got a tiny sliver of fudge and TWO pieces of strawberries as a topping. These cups are almost $8 each--the price of a full meal. For that cost, you expect generous portions, not to be nickel-and-dimed over cherries and fudge. I ordered 2 cups almost 16 dollars not worth it! I shot have take a picture but I didn't. The shop was empty, and I'm not surprised. If you want customers to return, stop being so stingy with your toppings. Ice cream should feel like a treat, not a hassle or a fight for decent service. I won't be coming back, and I don't recommend this place anymore. It's just not worth it. read more

It really can't get better than this, at least not here in the DFW area. Cute little place with cute looking people who work here, a lot of options to choose for the ice cream, you can build your own or go with their recommendations. The price is cheaper than Chills 360 and you get a lil more for your bucks too. Came here for the first time with my sister and my dad. It was around 8:30pm on a Sunday, and there were about 6-7 people ahead of us, plus pretty much a full house. Thankfully, they have the whole system down. The cashier taking order, marking ingredients on the cup, then passing it on to another person who gets the mixed in ingredients and measuring the milk for the ice cream, he then passes it on to the person who works the magic to create the ice cream and roll them into the cup. One last person adds the final touch with the toppings. With that many people in front of us and we only had to wait about 10mins to get our ice cream. Having been to Chills 360 first, and the only other rolled ice cream place, this place is definitely much better. The people who work here are extremely efficient and skilled in what they do. It's already fun watching them make the ice cream, it's even more fun to watch them work so well together and make the job seem easy. Not only that, they're such eye candies to watch as well ;) If you're not sure what to get, just pick one of their recommendations. You can also build your own with so many options to choose from. Regardless, they're pretty generous with the ice cream as well as the toppings. I'm surprised that they open pretty late until 11pm except on Sunday. Lovely little ice cream shop. All of the ingredients tasted fresh and some of the flavors offered were really interesting, like thai tea or taro. I appreciate that there was even a dairy-free option. $6 may seem like a lot for ice cream, but for that you get either 2 mix-ins and 2 toppings or 1 mix in with 3 toppings, so you get a lot for your money. I tried their build your own bowl and got the honey dew with lychee fruit mixed in. I got the panda cookies, condensed milk and pocky sticks.. it was just as expected! Seating area is small and the restrooms are located behind the kitchen so you have to literally walk through the workers which is kind of awkward... Toppings are mainly for decoration as on some they don't give you much---EX: if you pick lychee topping you get 1 lychee, our OREO ice cream had 1 OREO, 1 Ferraro, etc. Toppings like fruit and candy you get more of. My friend asked to have her strawberries cut like a rose and they did it---so pretty! Many different varieties, mixes, and toppings. If you get overwhelmed, choose from their creative selections.
