I was surprised to see that they had a option for Vegans I really enjoyed the creaminess of the Silk Chocolate Almond Milk, I couldn't tell the difference from regular ice cream. The cold stone creamery at The Highlands in Arlington Texas Is HORRIBLE. Went last week, last day in Dallas/Arlington area before heading back home the next morning. Got back to my hotel room Saturday night and started eating my ice cream and there was HAIR in the ice cream so I called the store IMMEDIATELY of course they say it wasn't a manager working but we could bring the ice cream back (keep in mind, we was under a Tornado Watch and it had started raining) so they said we can't refund you you will have to talk to a manager, called the manager the next day.....Piper, the manager said she couldn't do anything I have to wait for the owner......a WHOLE week later no call from the owner, no call from Piper, no refund to my account, nothing!!! Absolutely horrible. This younger bigger white girl attended me and gave me a horrible berry berry good. Scrapped it off the top of the cup, over mixed it, it looked horrible, the ice cream was too mushy. Since it was over mixed, the fruit was mushy. The tall white lady did a great job for the other customers I just had terrible luck that I ended up getting that girl. Ruined my night and made me upset. Do not place an online order at this location. I placed an order for an ice cream cake 2 days in advance, was charged, and 15 minutes before the delivery time, the store canceled. Helpful and friendly staff at this location. I had the Peanut Butter Cup Perfection.. chocolate ice cream base + fudge + peanut butter + one Reese's cup. It was all pressed together but not fully blended. The chunks and bites of those different items make it delicious, and the small is more than enough for the typical person. I was given a medium cup to hold the small portion because of how it may overflow. (I recommend you ask for the same) You can choose from a variety of options, from Dipped cones, Dipped Cone cups and etc, as well as as many toppings as you feel your wallet could handle. The one reason I couldn't quite give it 5 stars is the price. It's a little steep for Ice Cream, and some may find it's not enough "value". My one tip for this is to get a signature item. The plain stuff is around $5 whereas the specialties are $6 and come with toppings mixed in. Other than that, I'd say two people could split a medium or large and be perfectly happy! read more

This place is an old favorite. I had not been in YEARS! I was in the area and "needed" some ice cream. Their cake batter ice cream has always been high on my list, I was so excited when they started making it chocolate! I ordered the small "cake batter batter batter" (with chocolate cake batter ice cream) off the signature creations menu ($4 ish). It was sooooo delicious! I love how generous they are with cookie dough and brownie batter mix-ins. My ice cream was LOADED with it! There was almost more cookie dough/brownie batter than ice cream! My most recent visit here has left me with a week-long craving for more Cold Stone! I need to come more often! The only downside is their ice cream is a little pricey. read more

Cold Stone Creamery has been around for a long time and I don't think it ever disappoints. There are so many new and "hipster" ice cream shops opening that these chain stores are very underrated. I, too, find myself trying new shops and enjoying them, but it's always nice to know that there's a Cold Stone nearby to fall back on. I personally love their STRAWBERRY ice cream. I like it simple so I'll get strawberry ice cream w/ almonds. On days I feel like something a bit heavier, I get the "Our Strawberry Blonde" (strawberry ice cream, strawberries, crushed graham cracker, caramel, and whipped cream) My husband is an ultimate fan of their SWEET CREAM. (Their Ice cream cake made with sweet cream is absolutely delicious!) A little over $4 for a small size ice cream isn't cheap, but most ice cream/ dessert places are overpriced these days. It's ridiculous that only 2 out of 8 workers we're wearing gloves! This is not only a place of business that serves food, but they serve ice cream, with toppings, that they have to perfectly scoop together. I asked the lady who worked on my order if she mind putting on gloves, she had no problem. Another lady helped my friend and she had an issue putting on gloves. After she finished the ice cream she took off her gloves and proceed to the next customer. Like how do you have a problem with being clean? When you go to scoop the ice cream, your bare hands are touching the ice cream. Smh read more

First I would like to say I visit this Cold Stone regularly and the service is outstanding. I always leave a tip (Tip Tip) as the energy is always high and the workers deserve it. As always I left a tip today even though service was not good. I will say I have never visited this on Saturday around 1:50pm before. Today I brought my son to try the new Almondmilk ice cream which they were out of but that was okay. We walked in and right up front Angel ( later I learned was the manager) who looked right is both, turned around and walked away to the back. He never said a word and I would like to add we were the only customers there. I ignored the rudeness and went to counter to order as anyone can be having a bad day. He then returned walked past the counter where we were standing to order and stood by a waffle maker pulled out his phone and began to scroll. A few minutes later a female employee emerged who offered to help us. She was very pleasant and helpful as she served my son. I thought could Angel not come over and take my order like staff do every other time I have been there? Instead he stayed on his phone and never moved. The other employee then came to help me but let me know there was no more of the Silk ice cream, apologized and suggested to return tomorrow in a kind voice. I paid her and of course left tip. I know this is not the normal treatment of customers by Cold Stone staff and my hope is that since Angel is a manager( which I was told) does not continue to be a bad example and provide poor customer service. Never heard from the management. Had to get my refund through my bank. Sad for you Coldstone. Piece of crap place. Almost a month later and still no refund. I'd give a negative 5 star rating if I could on customer service alone. Ordered a cake through their website two days before time to pick it up. I got there and they said it hadn't been made because they do not accept internet orders. Would sure have been nice if someone contacted me before I drove 30 minutes to get a cake that wasn't ever going to be made. The worker gets the store owner on the phone and he has the nerve to tell me to calm down or leave his store. I demanded a refund of my money and he says it will take two hours. Well its been three weeks and still no refund to my credit card yet. I sent an email to corporate headquarters to complain and never received a response.
