Here's what I didn't know- when they say they never skimp- they never skimp out on their servings! I ordered a cone with Salty Carmel Truffle on a cone. They give not one scoop, but 3 on a cone!!! I wasn't hungry for 3 scoops, and they offered one scoop but the serving is 3 scoops!! Okay, You talked me into it!! If 3 scoops is too much at the time, order yours in a dish to go. Service was horrible!!! I was just wanting 1 or 2 scoops max and the young kid at the counter said no minimum was 3.5 and 4 scoops. I said I only want one or two and I'm willing to pay the same cost. I just can't eat that much and he said no they only do the minimum 3 1/2 or four. I said well I can't eat that so I guess we're going somewhere else and as we turn around and walk out, he said Brahms is down the street! What a rude employee!!! Poor customer service all the way around. Electronic menu was "out" tonight and there's no back up menu to look at and when I asked about a menu, the gal at the register looked up at it and said, oh. Just oh. So I stepped out of line to find something online. Made my way to the website but nothing there. Made it here to Yelp finally to find a menu. In the meantime my husband ordered a single scoop and was given what looked like a baby scoop compared to the single scoop we both received a week ago at our last visit. I guess they don't monitor this for consistency. Four employees and none of them letting any of us know what was going on with the menu. There were about 8 customers in the store. I decided to come here for a afternoon pick me up after picking my girls up from daycare. I got three orders of a small scoop in a bowl for around $15. My daughters chose the cookies and cream with sprinkles on top. She was amazed about how there were "real" oreo cookie chunks inside. I chose pistachio which also had chunks of nuts inside too. Both ice cream had good flavor. The downside was that there was an older man who had was scooping my daughter's ice cream decided to lick his hand after a piece fell onto it! The dark chocolate raspberry truffle ice cream was seriously the best ice cream I have ever had. I went back the very next day to purchase a quart for home. Went here today for ice cream. Very bright and no decor and very quiet with no music. Very sparse seating arrangements with no tables to sit. I can imagine the big hassle for people if it gets crowded. Only a few stools to sit at the bar and some benches. Person at the counter was friendly and efficient. I agree with another post that didn't like that you couldn't see the ice cream before ordering. It doesn't appear they made very good use of their space. Today is my daughter's 15th birthday. I live in California, and she lives in Fort Worth. I've heard alot about them from my daughter raving how good they are and knew it would be the perfect gift to send her from California where I'm at. I'm not sure why, but I couldn't get your typical delivery service like Grub Hub and Uber Eats to work for some reason, but I really wanted to send her something. I ended up calling directly and spoke with Vanessa, one of the owners, and explained my situation. They went above and beyond, helping me to make sure my daughter received her gift from me. I wasn't sure who was going to deliver it, and when asked, she said Derrick, her husband, the other owner, was going to deliver it himself. I just received a text from my daughter about how much her and her friends loved her surprise and loved everything i sent.
