I had a taste for boba and just my luck Ichiddo Ramen was close by. In my experience they ask how much sweetener you want in your boba. But here they have a standard. Food - The cheesecake came out pretty much still frozen, couldn't eat it at the restaurant and had to take it home. One of the best takoyaki that we've had, both soft on the inside and crunchy on the outside. The ramen itself was quite salty and the chashu was also over salted. This is my third time coming ramen restaurant. Customerservice is really good there was young lady with glasses who knows how to treat her customers which is the reason why I come back. There was a kind of a bias with the other person who serves which we both felt me and my little brother. Did not appreciate her behavior. But the food here is good. Cute spacious restaurant. The service was quick and pleasant. I ordered the short rib as an appetizer. The flavor was there but the meat was tough. My daughter throughly enjoyed her ramen. I forget which one she had but you add or dip the noodles into the ramen. If you don't eat pork make sure to ask which broth is not pork based because many of their selections are pork. I had the red curry ramen with the meat removed and shrimp and egg added. Unfortunately it was not spicy enough for me and the ramen needed salt. read more

I love that the Evergreen park neighborhood has a ramen spot now. And a good one at that. I love how bright and inviting the restaurant is and decked with bottles of sake as decor. Great place to get ramen! I enjoyed both the Char Siu Ramen and Niku Soba Ramen. The soup broths have deep umami flavors and aren't overly salty. The bamboo shoots are deliciously tender as well as the char siu. We also got the age tofu, it was nice n crunchy paired with sweet n sour sauce. It's not your traditional agedashi tofu fyi. Excellent! Evergreen Park needed a good ramen place like this. We had no reservations but were seated and served quickly. Flavors were legit. We tried ramen and fried chicken bun and drinks. The ramen is on par with expensive Wicker Park places. Ambience to me is funny, AC/DC while you have ramen. But I don't exactly want to hear like Shamisen the whole time I'm there either, so no complaints. Definitely blows away any other nearby options. Boba tends to get clogged in their straws. The cucumber salad and shrimp tempura were my favorites. I didn't particularly enjoy the Lychee fruit sake. Lychee can sometimes have a weird flavor so I would give the fruit sake another shot with a different flavor. The edamame wasn't as salty as what I'm used to and the wontons were just ok. I didn't particularly care for the chicken stirfry noodles. The chicken didn't have much flavor and the texture was a bit off. However, I would come back for the shrimp tempura and cucumber salad. Just tried em a minute ago, and the food was excellent!!! The spicy miso ramen was cooked perfectly! And the chashu had the right char on it with the perfect tenderness. The gyoza was the best I've had so far. I could've eaten them all day!!! Nice flavor with a crispy, then soft shell. Very good!!! read more

Service was quick. Food was ok. I had the cury ramen they brought it out quick and hot. Only problem I had was that I felt like the servers were over my shoulder. Wouldn't ask if I needed anything theyd just walk up behind made me feel as if they thought me and my family were gonna walk out or not pay. We paid $71 for 2 ramen bowls, calamari rings, smoothie and regular fried rice. We got charged an AUTOMATIC 15% TIP to our bill which was an extra $10. I usually tip more than the 15% but just seeing that they AUTOMATICALLY charge tip did not sit well with me. Bc what if I didn't like the service?? I'm automatically to Tio 15%?? Just my opinion. They have a small sticker stating they charge that in the front of the menu that we missed. Me, my husband and 2 toddlers ate here food is not bad I just did not like feeling like we were being judge as if we were gonna walk out and did not like the automatic tip charge. This is my first time ever seeing this in a restaurant so for that I will not be returning here sadly. Again food was ok. I just did not like the vibe read more

the gyoza is soooo goodddd. the chicken stir fry ramen needs more seasoning it's pretty bland.
