I was walking through the mall and noticed this place. I'm unsure how long its been here because I've never seen it lol Anyway. I stopped in and ordered a shrimp Mongolian hibachi bowl. The ingredients were so fresh. Though its in the mall, its great for dining in with family, friends, even a casual date. Only soft drinks are served no alcohol. Prices are very reasonable. We came here on a whim. My husband previously visited here, but did not have a good review. I'm so happy that we spent the block because it is amazing. This restaurant does not give small vibes. It gives stand-alone vibes, and I hope they can expand their business one day. Think about a Asian chipotle that's the vibe that it gives but better. The service was so good. The food was fresh and delicious. My kids even ate the food. I mean, the staff was even very nice in the service area was clean. People were really in here like they know what was up. We had the Korean fried wings and plain and in spicy garlic. We had the pan fried dumplings. And then we had the bowls with the udon noodles and fried rice. You can really stack your bowl of really nice and it's only 1599 for dinner very affordable and definitely worth the money. It was so many sauces to choose from very flavorful. Everything was fresh, clean and organized. This place needs more hype. If you go here, definitely try the bowl. Definitely try the wings and definitely try the dumplings. I saw a video of this business on tik tok and decided to come give it a try. It is connected to the mall, but it stays open until 10pm on the weekends. The ambiance is normal it's not fancy, but the space is very clean. The workers make effort to clean up quickly when things get dirty. We got the stirfry bowl, and I was very pleased. You pick a starch. They have two types of noodles or 3 types rice for you to choose from. Then you pick your veggies, fruits, and proteins. You can season it and pick a sauce to go on top. They cook it on a large grill and bring it to your table! The food was really good. I would definitely come back. Their menu is quite large, and they have sushi, ramen, and other items to choose from if you don't want stirfry. Go give this place a try. read more

Absolutely amazing ..The all you can eat bowl that you make choose your veggies add your protein sprinkle your seasoning then pick your sauces and watch them cook it...We also enjoyed there fresh sushi rolls .We ordered the Korean chicken...ooh the breading so flavorful and crispy, we decides to put the sauce on the side the garlic sauce was so spicy though for those people who love hot that's the sauce.. Yum bowls are delicious, you make em just the way you want your bowl to taste. They do the hard work as far as cooking it for you right at the end of the line once you've filled your bowl. Pack your yummy bowl with all the varieties of veggies, spices/seasonings and of course lots of proteins. The wings were nice and crispy with some good favor and heat to em. Kinda excited to have this open up near me. I saw it finally opened on social media so decided to try it out. For the price, it's not bad. Clean food bar. Tons of seating and people get their food fast and don't sit forever. So it's a good family dinner or quick dinner. Servers were attentive, too. I didn't enjoy how it all came on rice. I thought it would be a similar experience to flat top where the rice is mixed in and fried. Otherwise, I'd rather just have a bowl of hibachi noodles that I picked. I'd come back and ask for that. I don't like how all the sauce and oils pooled on the rice. I got plain white rice but I should have asked for fried rice because it took up half the bowl. I'd come back if I could get the bowls with noodles and the toppings I picked. I'd try the sushi next time. This was my first time here and The Food, Food Station was Clean and Display was nice, Service, and Atmosphere is past three stars , Price of food and quantity is definitely worth it and for me I had a lot left over. Delicious stir fry that has even more protein options than Flat Top I believe. Just wish the sauces stuck to the dishes better but that's not unique just to this location. Service was great. The whole meal was filling and priced well. read more

I hate that I have to leave this review because I went when they first opened and it was nice. I wish ZERO stars was an option. There was miscommunication about takeout policies with the all-you-can-eat meal. First, the waitress said pack the first bowl to go and then you can get a second to sit down and eat followed by the all you can eat policy. Then she told we must eat all the first bowl to get the second one to go. She stood around and watched to make sure of this !!! My Gma ate her first bowl and wanted a second and was told if she got a second bowl the food would be weighed by the pound. At that point we asked for a manager because she paid for all you can eat and this is now the 3rd story from the same waitress. The manager came and basically called us liars and when my Gma told her she would not pay by pound because she paid for all you can eat, she dumped the food in the trash then readjusted the receipt . She was very rude and unprofessional . They lost 6 customers (and everyone all 6 of us will tell) over a bowl of food.. ALSO, we heard a table complaining of roaches !! Delicious! You put the ingredients in a bowl and they cook it right in the middle of the restaurant where you can see. Many ingredients and sauces. Servers were helpful on what to choose. Ramen was served at room temperature. Couple of minutes after it was served, it's already FREAKING COLD!!! Even a 5th grader can jug it bottoms up. Not even expecting for a ramen to be like this since it was a newly open restaurant. Very diasappointing! Try to explain it to the manager and the staff that time but the they said it was hot. I let them touch the bowl and said it was "warm" not "hot" The chicken that we ordered, it was served wrong. We told it twice that the sauce should be set aside and we even told the waitress to repeat our order, technically 3times it's been reitirate but still served wrong Definitely will not come back and not recommend this place. 1/10 read more

In Algonquin they have a Mongolian grille that's easily 5 stars plus . Every time I visit my son, I get it to go. Everything is fresh and top notch. Lunch is $16 a bowl. The choice of meats is plentiful and the chicken is breast meat. You get a separate plate for noodle and rice and can pile as high as you wish. The choices of sauces is great. Salads are part of price from a salad bar. Outstanding and worth twice the price. Came here the first time hoping for similar options. Nope ! Very nice staff and clean, plenty of seating. But meat looked like scraps . Salad as extra, asked if you want rice or noodles which they keep behind counter and submit what they choose ( a lot less ). The sauces say ...brown sauce, Viet nam sauce , etc. ) no peanut or sweet and sour sauce ( Asian staples ). I got it to go . The container about half the size of Algonquin place. ( different owners ). Got it home to eat , tasted fairly good, but very salty . Salty makes me skeptical as to freshness cause it hides taste in truth. Can't wait to visit my son again to get Mongolian food there that's amazing and outstanding. Doubt this place will survive, as a south suburb guy raised in Hyde Park, I've noticed south suburbs people prefer price over quality whereas north side folks want fresh,, fresh , fresh. This place is awesome! I love to come with my family all the time. It's such a nice place to go with family and enjoy a nice meal. The service is amazing to my opinion. I never had a problem with any of the workers and they are all super sweet. The food is nice and filling and super enjoyable. I have a family member who is usually picky about seafood and sushi, but for this place, they had all different kinds of meats and selectable choice choices, definitely would go here with family or friends. read more
