I stumbled upon this location while out shopping. After seeing how affordable it is I decided to give it a try. Personally I go to buffets like this for the all you can eat sushi so my review is going to be a little biased. I really liked the selection they had for the sushi. They had a variety from crab to tuna and salmon as well as white fish. Other restaurants tend to just have an abundance of crab rolls so it was nice to see they had different fish available. The servers were nice and picked up the plates pretty quickly. I don't think the pile ever got some more than one round for all of us. The restaurant looks really nice. The chandeliers over the food are a nice touch. If you're in the area, I would definitely recommend checking this place out.

Hibachi is the best way to get fresh food!!!

I love me a decent Chinese buffet for a great value. This dinner buffet for $15.99 fit the bill, but the soft drink was not included (add $2.99). Nothing was gourmet here but it was easy to get your money's worth, which is easier these days as Chinese takeout is cray cray pricey! They had a Hibachi where you can load your plate with raw proteins (shrimp, chicken, beef, pork) and choose from tons of veggies, rice/noods and even raw eggs. They had some different sauces and I asked for garlic with some chili and it came back pretty bland. I wish they'd let me make my own sauce as I'd make a killer flavorful dish. It was cooked well and I was able to add white sauce! The bonus is hibachi is always HOT! They had very few entree dishes available in comparison with desserts, salads, pizza, appetizers, and other items. The entree's I did try were not overly hot so I just tried them for flavor. They need to make sure the food is hot hot hot. It was not not not! If you like seafood, they had some good options with peel and eat shrimp, crawfish, some other big red crustacean (where greedy people were taking ALL of them like they're the only ones in the restaurant). They also had raw oysters and sushi. I was heading to a bar afterwards and skipped the messy items and potentially dangerous raw items. They had a variety of soups as well. I love adding wontons to my hot and sour soup, which actually had a kick to it! Fun. The Crab Rangoons were great too, as were the dumplings. The best thing I had was the chicken wing! It had that "Yellow" flavor (I don't know what it is, but I love it), but the wing was hot, juicy, crispy and delicious which is a rare combo in chicken wing world. I could have just eaten these and got my money's worth, but wanted to sample other stuff. I skipped the desserts and ice cream, but could see why people would load up on these things. The place was pretty big, the service was great with the waitstaff hustling to refill drinks and clear plates. I went on a Saturday during dinner to hopefully maximize the freshness of the food (a good idea at any buffet). It did not maximize hotness. 3 stars because you have to hunt for hot food. I'm not sure if I'd go back or not as there are other options in the area I'd try. I don't live close but if I did, I might make it a once-a-month indulgence.

My boyfriend found this spot driving around and what a great buffet spot. It's hard to find good buffets but this one has great food, good service, clean restaurant environment. Our server Amy was very kind and very attentive. We paid about $17 per person for dinner and the price is well worth the options they have, I will be back for more

I love Asian food and all you can eat so I had to try this place out! My friend wanted to try it so we came for Sunday all day dinner. The restaurant was clean and the staff was very attentive. They have a good variety of everything. I tried a little bit of everything to find out what I liked the most and save room for it. I found a lot of the food to be lukewarm and nothing fried was crispy. The food and sushi overall was not great. Can't list everything but I'll make a few notes. Mac and Cheese wasn't cheesy no flavor. Krab Rangoon were good but they were cold and not crispy. Honey Chicken was okay and so was the General Tsos, sauce was good but it felt like it was left to sit out for awhile. Lo Mein just tasted like spaghetti with light sauce on it. Fried Rice just tasted like regular rice. Sushi was okay, the fish wasn't bad. Shrimp were very mushy and I couldn't stomach the texture. The Miso Soup was okay not bad. Coconut Shrimp was good. The desserts were okay. There are other buffets that are way better than this place and around the same price. I don't see myself coming back here. If they were to keep their food hot it would make a big difference. I would not recommend this place though.

Was great! The food options were plenty and hibachi and sushi as well were good. Plenty of desert to choose from. The server was quick and efficient, she was on top of water refills and grabbing plates. The restaurant was clean and lit nice and ac is good too not hot or any weird smells.

We came to Ichigo Ichie Buffet not expecting much but did have a good meal but not as wide as selection as other Chinese Buffets we been to in the area. First when entering they entrance was no trills and did not have that welcome feeling. We were greeted by a hostess and given a booth in a fairly empty restaurant. It was a little after 1 pm so maybe the lunch crowd had already left. As I mentioned the food selection was less than other places we have recently visited but the food we had was good. Our waitress did remove our plates when we go up for another visit and my tea was refilled. One thing I didn't care for were the plates were styrofoam. Overall the food was good, the service was good and the price was also fair. We also had coupons which gave us $2 off which we applied to the tip. The men's bathroom had trash on the floor and a missing urinal but appeared clean. We probably will not be returning due to other places nearby we prefer but if you are in the area and like Chinese buffets give it a try.

    Variety is in this photo!

Normally the Asian buffets are pretty much the same, but this one stands out in several ways. One the buffet is really large and has A Lot of choices, way more than most. They also had what I know as "creamy shrimp", which even the place I first had it at no longer has, they call it "coconut shrimp" here. A few of the staples are made a little differently here, the bourbon chicken and general tso chicken among them. Two, plenty of seating, this place is big! Three. They have a real salad bar, not the typical lettuce and a few odd add-ons like most Asian buffets. They had about 20 different standard toppers. All in all, I give it a 4, good food, great variety, good service and very reasonable prices, for example on Sunday, it is 12.99 all day.

The chicken was freshly prepared and hot and the meals stayed that way until I got home. I liked that the jerk chicken was not too spicy. Definitely full of flavor and the peas and rice was a nice combination. The second meal was a comforting meal. Two dark pieces of chicken and a scoop of mashed with the simmered northern beans. Each meal came with cornbread which probably was my favorite part. I was happy with my meals and definitely would eat here again. I want extra cornbread and to choose another dish from the menu.

I found City Buffet on Yelp, and it looked like it would meet our needs. The building is a little strange because it looks like a barn -- not the kind of building you would associate with Asian food. The landscaping is also not well maintained, which makes the place look neglected. My daughter said she had passed by it many times and assumed it had gone out of business. Happily, the inside looked much better. There was a mural of the Great Wall of China along one wall, along with chandeliers and colorful lighting. The hibachi station runs along one side of the room, while the buffet bars are located in the center. City Buffet was on par with pretty much every other Asian buffet I have eaten at. Cold foods included salads, sushi, seafood, and peel-and-eat shrimp. The hot food selection offered a good variety of hibachi items, fried favorites, and a mix of chicken, seafood, noodles, vegetables, and other dishes. Standouts for us included the dumplings, green beans, seafood bake, crab Rangoon, and coconut shrimp. They also offer a selection of soups if you're in the mood for something lighter. Dessert had plenty of options too: fresh fruit, Jell-O, pudding, small cake slices, and ice cream. One thing I really appreciated was that the ice cream comes in individual pre-packaged cups and bars, which is much more hygienic than the typical buffet setup. Unfortunately, the first ice cream bar we opened had clearly melted previously, but the others we sampled were fine. We all really liked the coffee-flavored cake, which tasted similar to tiramisu. Service was prompt -- almost too prompt. They were lifting plates out from under me as I was raising my fork to my mouth. A couple of times, they took plates before I had even finished with them. The strangest thing about City Buffet was the overwhelming and off putting smell of cabbage in the restrooms. I was very puzzled by what was going on with that. Overall, I would say your enjoyment of City Buffet depends on how much you enjoy this kind of buffet. My family does, so I am rounding up from 3.5 to 4 stars.

The menu is short, the options limited - but what they do, they do Well. The prices are higher than I'd expect, but perhaps it is their location, local rent, and fierce area competition from many many other restaurants. I got the burnt ends, a 4 oz portion was fine since I got two sides also. The sides were $3.99 ish and that was asking a lot, still tasty, just not the amount I'd normally pay $4 for, hence the 4 stars, not 5 rating. The burnt ends were small bites, beautifully sauced and not too soft or too firm. The smoked Mac and cheese was delicious, but I encountered a piece of bbq chicken in it. I don't know if that's the recipe or cross contamination, but beware food allergy peeps. The green beans were savory, not overly wet, and a good balance of vegetables in an otherwise meat and carb heavy menu. My friends got the sliced beef, and similar sides, although one person got the coleslaw which was supposed to be fresh made and crisp, but was watery and soggy - couldn't not finish them. Would I go back again? Yes of course, very tasty, but I'd have more clear expectations of what I'm getting for the price. Note that they had a robust phone order line, so they are still super popular. Plenty of small tables inside to eat, or larger outdoor patio tables (but windy) to eat at and enjoy the adorable downtown or sunset views.

They took great care of us during our Yelp Elite visit and made the whole experience feel relaxed from start to finish. The wait after we ordered was a litttlllleeee bit longer than I expected but I'm totally fine with that for tasty food! Definitely a little bit pricier but you can definitely get some good leftovers too. We ordered the butter chicken, chicken curry (medium spice), rice, garlic naan, and a mango lassi. Certified banger. Everything was super flavorful without feeling like it was trying to punch you in the face with spices. It felt really rooted in traditional flavors while still being approachable--like it knows it's in Orlando and understands the assignment. The butter chicken was ridiculously tender, and the medium spice on the chicken curry was so good. The garlic naan disappeared in about 30 seconds, and while the mango lassi wasn't personally my favorite (I'm still training my palate for the fruit + cardamom combo), it was really refreshing. And as someone with a questionable tummy... the fact that I left feeling completely fine? That's an automatic bonus star. Easy 5/5.
