Air freshener x3: one scent missing and another duplicate. I tried contacting seller by emails (twice), 3 different contact numbers (all week) and IG messages & online chat!!! No reply and messages never read. I wonder if they are going bankrupt or closing down so try to clear stock but when inventory had discrepancy, instead of notifying buyer and refunding, they just scammed us by not including the products or replacing them at will! Buyers be aware. I would avoid buying online all together!!! read more

I'm down with other reviewer said. The store owner also speaks Mandarin. As I walked in, I could hear the friendly voice greeting in Japanese. She would recommend what is hottest selling items. I was like a kid in a candy store. Everything is imported from Japan sand they're intriguing to me. They sell foods, snacks, cosmetic, clothes and knickknacks. Bring cash! Note on the biz page. Great place for Japanese cosmetics and medicine! Also most of the products have testers to let you try. A large assortment of items that you can't find anywhere else, although it does get a little bit overwhelming since there are so many options...but luckily the lady was very helpful and knowledgeable and able to answer my questions. Pricing also seems a tad cheaper than other places that carry Japanese cosmetics, as the gel that my husband used is $1 cheaper than h-mart, 99 ranch, or shibulaya but can't speak for other products. This store is small though compared to their katy location and doesn't have as large of a selection so that was the con. Also on the yelp page it states 5% discount with check in, but when I tried to redeem it the lady told me I had to write a review and attach a photo so I hastily wrote a 3 sentence review lol. Nevertheless, it's great that HOUSTON has a store dedicated to Japanese health and beauty products, and that it's conveniently located in the duen huang plaza. This Store is not only Amazing it's Magical They have THE CUTEST stuff imaginable and even tho product descriptions are in Japanese you can kind of guess what the products are because there are photo descriptions & the staff is amazingly helpful too!! I always stop here if I am in the shopping center and always find something irresistible I am currently obsessed with the super cute head bands perfect for keeping my long hair back while washing my face! I'm never going to come back to this place. I felt very insulted today. Came in to the store with my fiancé, trying find a gift. When we came in no one greeted us - which is totally fine. But halfway inside the store a guy jumped up from his chair and kept following around the store not even asking if we need help. He is either the owner or the sales associate of the store. He approached us and began shadowing us and keep looking from behind our shoulder thinking we were going steal something. If you have problem with people stealing something from the store, i don't think this is the right way to treat your customer. I complained and told the guy that he made us feel very uncomfortable and all he did is just smile instead of apologizing. Always get our favorite japanese products here. They always have great discounts and give great gifts when you purchase shishiedo products. We've been buying Christmas gift sets from them for the past 3 years and it's always a great hit. If you buy it from a department store guaranteed you have to pay 20$ more. This place is tucked away in the plaza and it took me a while to find it until I looked up to see the little sign up high on one building. This store is VERY small and I mean SMALL. The selection is just as limited as the space but I understand why. The items tend to be at a higher price here than other places. Specialty Pocky here is $5 when other places sell them for $2.50 but then again I have never seen some of these flavors in all the Asian shops I've been and trust me I am always on the hunt for Pocky. So it is expensive but not so bad that I wouldn't buy anything. The guy working there made my boyfriend and I so uncomfortable by literally standing behind us and looking at our every move. The exact same thing FIT used to do! He was a very friendly guy despite him doubting us at first. He later took a seat behind the counter after a while of us browsing. It's okay though I know there are people here are who tend to steal a lot so I'm not too bothered about it. I will definitely come back when I have a decent amount of money to spend. If I'm limited on cash I'll choose FIT. If I'm looking for more anime based items I'll choose Moshi Moshi. I hope to see this store expand one day and increase their space and selection. read more

When I went here I was expecting a tiny shop with a few items that were expensive. The items are low and fairly priced ($-$$) with a few higher in products like Sk-II which of course is going to be pricey. When I think about expensive skincare products I think of Sephora and Ulta Beauty products.They have a large variety of Japanese skincare products that I have seen in Houston so far. Maybe they have develop more variety overtime, but when I went to Fit their skincare section was not huge at all. The lady I talked to was informative about the products.
