I signed up for the silver snake ring class and ended up taking one more class on making a copper bowl. Then on my next visit, I asked for a private lesson where I could design a copper bowl on my own and re-make my silver snake ring into a bracelet. The ring was gorgeous, but was a bit heavy for my finger. Now the beautiful light bracelet is just perfect! The abstract bowl I made is also very much to my style. But I certainly appreciated the technique Rene taught me in making the proper round bowl. Everyone in the shop is super nice, from the artist to front desk people, everyone is just warm and happy being. I highly recommend the classes in this place. So reasonably priced and so worth it!

The store was in the middle of a going-out-of-business sale: Socks for 50 cents. Jackets for $2. Pants for $1. Hats and scarves for 50 cents. Absolute steals across the board. If you're a bargain hunter, this was truly a cheap man's dream. Unfortunately, as mentioned, the store is closing its doors -- so once it's gone, it's gone, and there are no returns. Still, after 35 years in business, I wish them nothing but the best in whatever comes next. It was a memorable stop and a reminder of how special long-standing local shops can be.

There are delicious smelling candles, kitchen gadgets, home décor, stationary, candy and trinkets that would make your grandma's heart skip a beat. The shopping model is addictive with the regular coupons, Kohl's cash, and rewards points. They also have a wide selection of items that we tend to appreciate. In addition to clothes and shoes, we also purchased kitchen, home goods, bedding, bath, pet items, games, and seasonal options. They have an Amazon return station also that we've used a few times as an alternate to the UPS Store across the street. I found some items I wanted that I tried to purchase online, but would have had to wait 4-10 days for them to get it ready for in-store pickup. So I visited in person, and found everything I was looking for the same day. I also picked up a 70% off clearance item that I wouldn't otherwise have found online. They reworked the checkout from having several registers in their separate lines on both sides of the store, to a single queue line weaving through last minute displays to a bank of multiple registers in a line. You wait to be called to the next available register so no one can slip in front you. There was only one register open when I was there, and the staff was very friendly and helpful with my purchase.
