The stone was replaced quickly and I also got an appraisal on it for a low price (in my opinion). Initially, I wasn't satisfied with the quality of the repair, as it didn't quite match the original look of my chain. However, the staff were incredibly accommodating. They listened to my concerns and asked if they could take a bit more time to refine the repair. They ended up laser cutting the chain to perfectly match the original pattern, and the result was fantastic. While the experience had a rocky start, I truly appreciate how Jared and their team stood behind the quality of their work and upheld their commitment to customer satisfaction. My wife went there to return/exchange some pants that were the wrong size and ended up working specifically with Miranda there in the store to get that accomplished. My wife said Miranda was great pleasant to work with and very helpful with the entire return and exchange process. She also helped my wife find the right pants that fit properly. In fact, she said that the entire staff was helpful there and was very attentive to her needs the entire time she was in the store. In this day of lackluster mall patronage, it was nice to see this store step it up and take care of its customers! Five stars to Maurices (and Miranda) for great customer service! We were greeted by three employees and fitted by a very kind and professional sales lady. It all went down hill when it was time to try on the Bra's. My 14 year old daughter had been handed an $80 bra. I explained to the dressing room attendant that we did not want that one, and we went to find more affordable styles. I took her back to the dressing room with 5 styles of bras because she needed multiple. The attendant was very rude and said that I didn't know what I was doing, I messed up the bra display and had managed to get the wrong size of bras. She left us both standing there looking stupid while she took off to find the right sizes. She came back with the freaking $80 bra! Then admittedly she said " I did actually have the right sizes" but she put them back & the $80 bra was "the best option" We very, very annoyed and promptly left. I grabbed her one $40 bra on the way to the register and even managed to get the correct size by ourselves !! We went directly to the register without trying it on. Luckily it worked and she loves it. What an actual joke, I was waiting to be punked or something. So very disappointing for my daughters first trip to VS.

The first time I found Altar'd State, I thought to myself, "what the heck is that place?". From the outside, it looks like a literal chapel. The inside is just as breathtaking too. This specific location is located right within Mountain View Village so you can get anything else done while you are in the area. The location is absolutely perfect. They have doors on either side that you can walk through. The doors are a bit heavy but they even have a beautiful touch to them. When you walk inside, you immediately get a wiff of a fresh aroma. I love how it smells in here! As aforementioned, the overall vibe in here is amazing! They have a water ball (? I don't know what else to call it) near the check out area that is really fun to look at. The ceiling and the chandeliers are beautiful...AND the products they sell are amazing of course!!! I don't know who is designing this stuff and I don't know how much they make...but it is not enough. Every time I go into Altar'd State and try something on, it feels like it was literally made for me. I have found so many things I cannot live without while I have been browsing this store. So so so many beautiful shirts, dresses, shoes, you name it. The pricing depends on how you look at it. Typically their pieces start at $70-$80. They are definitely a bit steep. However, they do have a clearance area near the fitting room with some killer deals! I have spent $80 on a few items but I have also bought stuff for as low as $9.99. As much as I love this, it does kind of become a punch in the gut with how it went from $80 to $9.99... I have found cute shoes here and there is so many cute dresses I have found here and wear religiously. Their products are all great and I would definitely rather find cute products in the clearance section but sometimes I can't help but buy the item while they have it in my size and everything. On more than one occasion, I have found ranch inspired products, like a $14 dish towel that says "Ranch dressing is a blessing". I am glad we are on the same page, Altar'd State. The staff is always really nice and helpful. They greet people at the door without being super pushy, like car salesmen. When I was changing in the fitting room, the girl knocked, addressed me by name, and asked me how I was doing & if I needed anything multiple times. Things like this can really go a long way. The cashiers are always quick and nice. I have truly never had a bad experience here in that regard. I am obsessed with Altar'd State and I will continue going back for many many years to come.
