#1- Megan is the best representative we had in the entire Utah County area (we went to so many places). Very professional, attentive and made you feel genuinely comfortable. #2 They have so many beautiful designs. So many. #3 Pricing- They clearly understand the Utah County market. Believe me, a lot of jewelers in the area do NOT understand this market, and they make you feel somewhat guilty if you are not willing to get in to debt for a ring. I found a ring that I wanted and felt like the salesman really understood what I was after. He told me that he'd have diamonds to look at the next day and that he'd have a setting in within 2-3 days to look at. He told me that he'd get in touch with me, took my info, and over a week later I haven't heard anything. I've followed up myself 2 separate occasions on the ring and nobody had any info and the salesman was unavailable. When I told another rep when I called in how displeased I was about the service and that I was sorry that I'd have to leave negative reviews, he got very defensive and asked "are you threatening me?!" Brian not only worked with us to get much larger diamond than I thought was financially possible (we got an incredible value!), but went above and beyond in getting the ring to us by the time we made the trip back out from Vernal. I know that two stars is a little harsh but I gave this place so many chances. I ended up choosing to lose $1000 in in-store credit to go to another jeweler because I could not handle working with Shubach anymore. The band on my ring that I bought there literally turned black after swimming one time. After that my husband and I were sure to ask if things were all natural elements. In the process of selecting a replacement ring we had to pry the truth out of them still. SO ANNOYING!! We went in to get help 5-6 times and were told to come back when Brian was there, because he was the only one that could sell anything.... What The Heck..... What were the other employees for? Came into this store with my girlfriend who wanted to ask a few questions about a gift she was going to buy and we have literally never experienced being treated as rudely than we did here. She walked up to two ladies behind the display cases that were talking with each other and another lady sitting in a stool and stood there without being acknowledged whatsoever for a couple minutes. Eventually my girlfriend told the lady sitting down that she loved her ring and asked if she worked there and she replied no, but pointed at one of the two ladies standing behind the display case and said that she did. After this, the lady she pointed at who worked there looked at us and literally turned her back to us and continued talking with her coworker. Completely in shock, we continued to stand there thinking that maybe she would finish her conversation and finally help us, but no, she just continued to talk with her coworker with her back to us. We walked out and will never recommend any of our friends to come here. read more

I'm.. dumbfounded by my experience today at the University Mall location. I had dropped my ring off to be cleaned and inspected, I picked it up and on my way home we realized a diamond was missing, inconvenient but not a big deal. I called and the lady politely told me to come back, that they couldn't fix it today but they would send it off. I drove back. When we arrived, there were two ladies. They did not acknowledge us at first, but we walked up to them I said I called a few minutes ago about the diamond that fell out of my ring. One of the ladies, Heather, said "I did not answer the phone, I don't know anything about it" the other lady sort of rolled her eyes and quietly said that she talked us. Heather then turned to the lady, at this time still neither of them had greeted us.. or made us feel welcome in any way, said "well I wasn't here when the ring was cleaned" this seemed like an odd thing for her to say in my eyes.. so I said actually I picked it up from you. A guy took it to the back but you handed it to me. Then, she said "I have 70 customers a day, I'm sorry that I don't remember you".. very matter of fact-ly. There was 15 seconds of silence where still.. neither of them offered to help or ask our name.. anything.. to which I said you guys are so rude to us every time we come here.. which I regress, my husband pointed out she alone was the one who was rude to us on a previous visit. She then said "I'm sorry if you think I'm rude, but I can't help you if you don't calm down". I will admit, my hands were shaking and my heart was hurting. I was ready to burst into tears. I wasn't angry I was just upset, It felt like they were hounding us from the start. We are going on our honeymoon in a month.. and I just wanted my ring to look nice for our pictures while we are there. So I said ok, can the Schubach at provo towne center help me, she said they sure can.. once again, matter of fact-ly. Which prompted me to ask to speak to the manager. She gave me a card with the stores number with her name on the back and said here I'll even write my name on it. My husband then turned to her and said you are being rude, can I please handle the paper work with her? (The other associate) Heather said something sassy to the extend or absolutely.. at this point I was in tears. Heather then proceeded to stand right over the associates shoulder and when the lady told my husband it will be in Monday, she said no it will not it takes longer for diamonds. The other lady, again just them talking to each other.. not us.. said since we live 2 hours from a schubach location and it happened in their store she would express ship it. Had Heather just walked away and allowed the other associate to take care of us, the issue could have dissolved, but at this point I said I do not feel comfortable leaving my ring with you. It did not feel right, I was just in shock. We turned to leave, I did not curse or raise my voice, but I said I've never been treated so badly anywhere before and I kind of just want to cry. I called her obnoxious as we walked away, which she was the definition of, and we took it to the Provo towne center. My first experience with Heather was over the holidays, they had maybe 2 customers. I dropped my ring off to be cleaned, she rudely said it would take 20 minutes that she didn't have time. I said that's fine. The issue was, when we came back.. she held my rings in her hand and asked do these look like yours? My rings are at least $12,000. What if she had just given them away to a dishonest person? One has warranty, one does not. I swore then I would never go back to this location, but since we live far away and were in the area today.. I figured we could pop in and have it cleaned. NEVER again. The Provo towne location quickly took care of us, but my ring will be gone for 6 weeks since the incident didn't happen at their store. It will not be in my honeymoon pictures. My ring is paid off with a lifetime warranty, I realize this can happen with the diamonds.. but I'm in shock by the way we were treated. As if we had done something wrong and were being scolded. After talking to the store manager, Brian, I should update my review. He was very compassionate while handling my complaint. read more

I had an amazing experience at Schubach. The customer service was better than at any other store. Mitch, the worker who helped me, cared about me and my future fiance! He was the only person I worked with that helped us feel relaxed and he really understood what type of ring we were looking for. Mitch helped us find the perfect ring and at an affordable price. Schubach, also really does have the best insurance, warranty in the business. I went to 6 or 7 store and their insurance/warranty didn't even compare! read more

This is the most ridiculous experience I have ever had. My husband spent 6 years finding the perfect ring to get for me, he married me with a family ring and wanted to get me a special ring for our 10 year anniversary. We found the ring we wanted but due to my small fingers we were told we would have to special order my ring and it will take 4-6 weeks to get in. We paid over $10k cash for my setting and center stone. We purchased it on 12/30/15, on 1/2/16 we went in and upgraded the diamond to a larger stone, on 1/2/16 we were told the setting we were going to have to order came in on 12/31/15 in rose gold (another special want) but was a size 7 instead of 4.75. The sales man talked us into having the jeweler size the ring down but only sized to a 5 (still too big) we went back on 1/23/16 since we tried with a size 5 and it was still too big, also the "P" stone in the band of the set was missing. On 1/23/16 we went in to have the band sent back to "headquarters" to get the "P" stone replaced and sized to 4.75 we were told it would take 3 weeks to get back. We also got the main ring sized to 4.75 and my original wedding ring plated in rose gold to match. We were told we would have the main ring and my original ring back on Wednesday 1/27/16 and we would be called when they came in. On Thursday 1/28/16 after still no call we called them and were told that the rings were back. My husband picked up the rings and the sales man nor my husband removed the ring from the box. When I pulled my main ring out of the box I noticed instantly that the "P" stone in the band was missing. We immediately called the sales man and were told that it was due to the sizing and that we can bring it back in. On Saturday 1/30/16 we went back to the store and worked with the store manager, Chris, who stated that he can get it put back in within a day or two (which contradicted what we were told with the wedding band), when I questioned this he stated that he can get the band done that quick to because it was still in the box to have sent out (1 week after it was supposed to already have gone). We let the manager know how upset we were that in the month from the date of purchase they have had my ring longer than I had. He stated that he was right then going to go ahead and order us a new ring in a size 4.75 rose gold from Passionstone directly and that he was sorry as that should have happened to begin with. I could wear the one with the missing stone and when the band was done I could pick that one up and wear that one to as the custom ordered one would be in within 6 weeks. Last week my husband called Chris the store manager back and was told "well it was ordered, I will call Passionstone to find out where it is in the process and call you right back." - Today 3/21/16, my husband again had to call the store manager, Chris, to ask where my ring was and what the deal was, Chris replied with something about the cost of metal and gave another date of about 10-12 weeks and then said "Well, she has the other one right?". I do not have the other ring. I have half of the other ring that is missing a "P" stone in the band, does not fit my finger and was never called back about the band that needed sized to 4.75 and was supposed to be sent back to HQ for a replacement stone. He didn't even realize or care that half of the ring we were using as a "loaner" was still in his store . We are still expecting a call back from Chris to resolve this issue, however, at this point I do not trust I will get what we paid for and do not trust I will get my center stone back. This is by far the worst customer service I have experienced. We are now 9 days shy of 4 months since the purchase of my ring and I have only wore the full ring a total of 18 days in 4 months. I feel that Chris is taking the approach of "if I ignore them they will just keep the loaner ring". I tried calling the customer service 877# today and reached it after hours so I am emailing as well. I would not recommend this store to anyone. after reading the 2 reviews they have it seems that come the turn of the year their quality of service has tanked. We should not have to spend that amount of money, 1 hour of driving each way every time we have to go into the store and 4+ months to only wear a whole ring for 18 days.
