Booking online is simple, and there's usually ample appointment time because she does work hard to make sure there's so many slots available which I appreciate. I booked the essential color check and it was an hour session. She first goes over the basics of color analysis and discusses the color wheel. This is important for understanding your results later on. She starts out analyzing the skin on your face and body. And finds out if your undertone. Then the color analysis starts. She drapes the different color shades on you and find your best color scheme. This part is normally everyone's favorite. She then will also do best hair color, glasses types and best perfume choices as well. In the end she'll tell you your best color schemes, 1st and 2nd. She'll send you a summary at the end, 15 page pdf summary of your visit which is quite comprehensive. The glowing reviews makes me think I was visiting the wrong place? I feel like I was just kinda of given my color match, but didn't really learn much. The Pdf pages Claire sent you is not very personalized beside your name.. and the size of page where your color wheel is sized small compared to the other pages like why??!! That's is the most important part! I had to extra homework when I got home. And I know this because my friend went to another Color analysis services, and her presentation pages was amazing. It had her photo of fabric draping next to her face embedded in the presentation. You did not have to take your own pictures. The fabric type was not discussed with me vs my friend which was very thorough. Went to this place based on reviews on yelp thus decided to leave a honest review of my experience. Claire was very nice and sweet however the whole session wasn't that helpful. I paid $400 which included 2 hours of color analysis, including skin care and make up session. The whole appointment felt very rushed, and I thought it's because she has a lot to cover but she finished half an hour early, I mean if I pay 400$ for 2 hours, I better get full 2 hours and not feel rushed. She encourages you to take pictures of the products she uses and goes super fast. She is ok with any photos you take of the products she uses. It was nice to see confirmation of the colors that best suit you, but nothing new was learned. We had a larger group and when I called to ask if we would have enough time for everyone as we had a reservation later that day the person I spoke on the phone with said yes and we'd be gifted samples of the products we used and a facemask. We didn't have enough time and we were very rushed at the end. The makeup portion, per Claire, was supposed to be really fun part and we all arrived bare-faced per instruction. It wasn't ideal. I had booked it a month in advance and only agreed to the time change, not a date change.
